The apartments are amazingly clean and Kerstin, the host, was absolutely incredible. She organised a fantastic Ile aux Cerfs trip for us, gave some great food recommendations where we ate for all three days of our stay, and even prepared us some snacks for our Ile aux Cerfs day. The price is well worth it, if you’re wanting to stay in Trou d’Eau Douce this is the place to be.

The place was very clean and comfortable. Kerstin was such a lovely host and helped us settle in and know other places to get things we needed for our stay like taxis and halal restaurants. We would definitely recommend for any body visiting the eastern side of Mauritius.

Everything was perfect. The house is very cosy and clean. The air conditioning was appreciated. Christine was the best host we ever had during our Booking experience in years. She is very kind and helpful, with good advices for activities and restaurant ! We definitely recommend it !

To say that Kerstin is a wanderful host is not enough. She's amaizing and you can imedietly feel that all your needs are taken care of even before you realize it. The acommodation is nice and well equipped. The village has a nice vibe and you can easily (thanks to Kerstin) organise interesting trips eather by boat, bike or car to discover this great area.

The area wasn’t the most touristy but its central to the jetty that leaves to the islands and all the hotels and great beaches are about 15 mins away.

Kerstin was amazing! So sweet, kind and accommodating! I booked this based on people’s review of her and I was not disappointed. The apartment was spotless and had everything you’d need and more.

Everything was perfect! The appartment is really clean and cosy, with everything you would need. The location is great with a lot of good restaurants nearby, and very convenient for visiting the East of the island. And above all, Kerstin is the nicest host!! We had the studio upstairs. The apartment had everything you could need. Kerstan the host was excellent and could not have been more helpful. She is ver approachable and gave us great tips about places to go and where to eat. She even booked us a table ahead of time as we were arriving over Christmas. Kerstan suggested excursions and even dropped us to the boat. We would definitely recommend Casa Frangipani to anyone coming to Mauritius

She picked me up from my boat tour, she gave me the best recommendation for a local massage and dinner. The place was beautiful and spotless. I felt so comfortable. Everything was above our expectation, we are grateful for such amazing hosts, their hospitality and we can truly say we felt like home.

Kerstin is the best host I have ever had, and I have traveled to so many destinations for the last 15 years. She made us feel welcome since we arrived and continued to be helpful and genuinely friendly during our stay. The apartment looks like it has just been renovated. Everything is in excellent condition, neat and clean. With Kerstin's attention to detail, the apartment has everything you might ever need, and the design is pleasing and calming. What we loved the most was the terrace, where we spent most of our time during breakfasts and dinners. Kerstin has equipped us with mosquito-repellant stripes, which we used every night on the terrace while playing card games. A bed is exceptionally comfortable and should be great for most people's liking because my partner, who usually has back pains, slept well every night. Kerstin helped us organize the day trip to 5 islands which was an extraordinary experience and highly recommended. She offered us a free ride to the meeting point, and her husband, Mr. Visham, was super kind in organizing watching the Première League football game one night with his friends. We had such a good time. Kerstin has the answer to all your questions, has great recommendations for places to visit, knows where to send you to enjoy a nice dinner, and is willing to organize it for you. If you want to enjoy the most of all surrounding beaches, rent a scooter with Paradisa rental, which is just around the corner, and Kerstin can assist you in getting in contact <3

It was a little hot in the second bedroom as there is no AC and the noise level from the street is quite high, so I would recommend to sleep with earplugs.

The best host you can imagine, Kerstin is the sweetest nicest woman we met on our whole trip. She has a super cute apartment which is very clean and tidy. She booked restaurants for us and suggested places, and each single suggestion we got turned out to ba a perfect experience. I would definitely stay again and recommend to everyone to come and stay and meet Kerstin and her husband.

We really likes our stay. The host, Kerstin,is really nice, ready to answer any questions and very helpful with tips what to do around. Place is close to restaurants, markets, harbour to go to Ile aux cerfs. Nice beaches in close proximity. In short - very nice place.

Apartment was really clean and spacy. Very comfortable bed, well equiped kitchen, good AC and nice views. But the best part of it was the host Kerstina. She was very helpful and giving a lot of local recommendation. Also she made for us reservation in really unique places and trips! We definitly recommend staying in Kerstina place and also be glad to be back there! :)
