Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

MauritiusPossibly the balcony. Very small and although a good view over the harbor, I just felt it very cramped.
Very helpful on arrival with parking and keys.

TurkeyI cannot say that the apartment was very clean. The couch in the living room and the bed sheets were stained. Also, there were a few strands of hair and bristles on the cushions on the bed. The other things we didn't like about were about Port Louis itself. Everywhere closes at 5 p.m. so you don't have a chance to do shopping in local shops. Also, Port Louis is a very dirty and stinky city. The streets are very dark and seem uncanny in the evening. I don't recommend you to stay here for 2-3 nights. You can just visit the capital for 2-3 hours and go to somewhere near the seaside.
First of all, we easily found the residence with the help of the navigation. But we couldn't understand how to enter the car park, so I parked the car and entered the building to find someone responsible. Then, I found Mr. Ismael, who was responsible from the check-in process. He explained how we could enter the car park, he met us on the floor we were supposed to park our car, brought someone with a luggage carrier to carry our bags to our room, and dealt with the check-in process entirely. He also gave a number which we could easily contact him about any problems or questions about the apartment. Besides the apartment's own keys, the section with the apartments is accessed with a special password. So, it is quite safe. The residences are located on the 16th-20th floors, so you will have a beautiful Port Louis view. Our residence was quite big and comfortable. There are many things in the kitchen if you want to cook for yourself. There is scrabble if you are bored. There is a safe in one of the bedrooms to keep your belongings. There were two bedrooms in ours and they both have their own bathrooms. The bathrooms were clean. Before coming here, I was very nervous about the car park because of some negative comments, but in reality you won't have any problems while entering and going out the apartment if you do it properly. Only one car can go up or down at the same time because the car park is very narrow. On every floor, in the up and down directions, there are traffic lights. If the light is red, you have to stop because it means that a car is coming from the opposite direction. When the light is green, you can go. Finally, it is close to the Caudan Waterfront and the China Town, so you can walk there. Generally, we felt very safe and had a pleasant stay in Citadell Mall Apartments.

United StatesI don’t like the building’s parking garage. It is extremely small. I mistakenly scratched the rental car in the parking garage. I also didn’t like the fact that there is a one way traffic in the garage.
The location of Citadelle Mall Apartment is great. Several of Port Louis’ top attractions (Le Caudan Waterfront, Blue Penny Museum, Mauritus Postal Museum, and the Natural History Museum) are all in walking distance! The view of Port Louis from the building is amazing, especially during the day. The apartment is clean and quite spacious. There are local shops and restaurants nearby in case you need to eat dinner in the evening.

United KingdomAs I came alone, I was hoping there would be a 1 bedroom apartment, but I don't think these are available in the Citadelle Mall Apartments. That being said, the value for money for a 3 bedroom was so good that it was still worth it for a single person to stay! Felt like royalty for the two nights I was there, and didn't want to go :(
The flat was spacious and in a building, so there was always lots of lighting and foot traffic to make it easy to go in and out. There are also a few coffee shops and cafes nearby, so it's quite easy to get a quick bite to eat. The receptionist took me up to my room and showed me everything, which was so sweet. I also had floor to ceiling windows in the living room and could see the entire Port Louis skyline and sunset. The balconies in the apartment made the view even more stunning :)

SpainThis is my second time staying at the Citadelle Mall Apartments. I have stayed in two seperate apartments and both were very comfortable. I use them for when I am working in Mauritius, and most of my work is in Port Louis. The apartments have showers with good pressure and plenty of hot water. The views from both apartments were lovely, looking over the city. The air con works well. The staff a friendly and helpful and are available from 8 am to about 4 or 5 pm. I arrived on an early flight and they allowed me to check in early. Most of the city of PL closes down early and the streets are mostly empty. There are only a few places to grab dinner. Namo Indian is one such place that closes at 6.00 pm. Most other places close at 4 or 5 PM.
