As mentioned above, we had a great time at Sakoa. One thing that we‘d like to mention is that we would have expected drinking water to be complimentary with half board, especially in a tropical climate.

Beautiful Hotel! The staff is exceptionally accommodating and very kind. The rooms are very clean (bed is made 2x a day) and nicely decorated. The hotel offers a multitude of activities for free, snorkeling, kajak, SUP, Pedalboat, Glassboat. Though the very, very best is the excellent food! A good breakfast and great dinner! Again compliments to the kitchen staff! The hotel also has a Wellness area right on the beach.

Some of the staff are not good. Lots of waiting around and there’s only 16 rooms in this hotel. You can easily wait 30mins for your drinks!!! Same food menu day in/out. No snacks available outside of breakfast, lunch or dinner.Kitchen is fully closed.

The service at the restaurant can be improved. On various occasions the attention to customer service was below average. The tables not set-up for the guests, drink orders forgotten or arriving late and food preferences that are disregarded. The food at the restaurant is overpriced for the quality offered. We only dined twice in the evening and opted for other options outside the hotel during the remainder of our stay.

The garden and the access to the beach was fantastic. The room had a sizable balcony which was great for relaxing in the evenings. The reception staff, housekeepers and general staff were very friendly and welcoming. The cleanliness and upkeep of the hotel is very good and they provide parking spaces, just outside the hotel if you are renting a car. Location is on the beach with some complimentary water activities.

Compared to other hotels with the same price range - the service is friendly but most likely unprofessional. For example restocking of glasses for juice takes 10-15 minutes. The variety of the breakfast was not given. There is always one cheese and two types of meat. The environment within our room was ready for maintenance, doors that didn't close and all in all it didn't feel like a room to spend 200 dollars per night. The checkout was a little bit rumpy and before the checkout time our card for entering the room was blocked.

Very nice bar and restaurant. The hotel offers water activities like snorkeling and Glas bottom boat for free. The employees were always friendly. The beach was cleaned every morning and enough beach towels available.

The beach front room in villa 9 is actually a garden view which was not what I booked but was given anyway, we enjoyed the live music on Sunday, super clean beaches, Dev was least helpful and the staff was least interested in there guests, brkfast had super limited options, and water had to be paid for each day which is rediculous Except for the Location, everything else was quiet disappointing and it was my very 1st time in Mauritius

The room did not correspond to my expectations; I have opted for a double sea-view preferably top floor and the room I got, located on the ground floor, had a very limited view on the sea (only and partially from the terrasse). Moreover, there was a permanent (day and night) noise due to some generator very close which I could hear non stop. The inclusive options are not inclusive! for instance a cup of espresso cafe is not included in the breakfast. Inclusive means that only a selection of local products are included. Very limited choice of main plate for dinner. Probably not adapted for vegetarian or vegans!

Great location on the beach and the resort is kind of small which is generally a good thing. Walking distance to supermarket and a couple of restaurants is very useful.

The bed wasn't particularly comfortable and air conditioning was loud. There was no lighting in the main bedroom. Breakfast didn't meet the four star rating. Overall value for money not great. Wouldn't stay again.

Room numbers is very dark. Well for men is fine but girls need to do some make up which is hard. with lights like these Meaningless furniture. I mean it is all about price/value. It seems like owner pay workers very little and I can feel that. For the price 3 times less what they have asked I have rented full house. I mean. come on! And food is weak & they don't really know how to do cocktails properly. I mean there is lots of things that can be improved.

We paid out for the honeymoon suite. We had no air co Siri ping as it didn’t work. When I complained we just got given a fan. I complained again when we paid and was told the were aware the AC was a problem!

The rooms were very basic and the pool very small, don't expect to swim. What fascinated us most is that for EUR 300 a night, cappuccino was not included in the breakfast. Only as a supplement.

The resort is right at the beach. The place is quiet. Pancakes were included at tea time, although we found out by accident.

Restaurant dinner and breakfast- i am very sorry, but its not ok for 5 stars boutique hotel. I am not person who takes a lot attention for breakfast. But if you see empty fruit plate and no options for vegetarians/vegan - sorry but you are not boutique hotel:
