Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomThe outside staircase needs a security light as it's very dark at night & apartment on 2nd floor. The shower was inconsistent. Sometimes no hot water, no cold or low water pressure but the hosts were helpful with this & it didn't detract from my holiday! Just something to know! The apartment needs a little more dusting of cupboards & extension lead sockets & under bed. Again it didn't detract from my enjoyment!
The keys collection was easy at a time I choose. A huge, comfortable bed & pillows. I felt safe staying there alone. 2 terrace either side of the apartment with good views, including partial sea view. The trees in the grounds, colourful birds & birdsong. Great location close to the beach, supermarkets, coffee shop, massage, bakery. Air conditioning. Fast, reliable WiFi.

South AfricaA couple of minor things could be replaced in the kitchen: Can opener and dish rack. The WiFi was a little erratic but this could have had something to do with storms at sea. Otherwise, everything you need has been catered for. It's an awesome place!
Host very kindly collected me from the airport. It's a quiet peaceful area and access to the beach is quick and easy. The bed is wonderfully comfortable with plenty of towels. I felt safe and secure in the tranquility of the location. Everything you might need is easily accessible. I would definitely stay there again. Thank you Dino!

AustraliaLocated in a very seedy area, isolated and surrounded by empty lots with long grass and rubbish, abandoned old buildings and unfinished construction. We booked 4 nights, left after 1 as we did not feel safe. There was no hot water, the shower was broken, couldn't get the old TV to work and the kitchen very old with cracked dishes, very old cooking equipment. There are many steps up to the apartment, very difficult with luggage. I cannot believe that the other reviews of superb are genuine. Couldn't wait to leave and find somewhere else to stay. Didn't bother asking for a refund.
