There is not a single thing to complain about this property and we are happy to have chosen it. It is very well located, the ocean is right across the street and everything you need is within walking distance (restaurants, shops, supermarket, exchange offices, etc.). The studio we booked was very nice and well equipped (ironing machine, hair dryer, Nespresso machine, even extra towels for the beach), the bathroom was spacious and well ventilated and the cleaning was done daily. Even though we were offered the option of a two-bedroom apartment for a small extra fee, we kept the studio for the twelve nights as we were happy with it. The property also offers free laundry service, very useful and easy to use. There is a covered lounge area in the yard to have your morning coffee or have a beer or a glass of wine in the evening. The access in the yard is done by code and there is a night watch all the time. The administrator, Jabir, was one of the nicest people we have met and he helped us with everything we needed. The property doesn't offer parking, but there is a public parking 50m on the left and 100m on the right where we had no trouble finding a spot.

The only downside was the noise from the washer and dryer and people having to walk right past us to get to them. No big deal though.

Great location, very secure and beautifully decorated with everything you could possibly need. The studio was extremely clean and serviced every day which was a bonus. Great restaurants on your doorstep and the beach right across the road. I would highly recommend Jabirs' accommodation!

The apartment is very new and also very safe with the automated door. It got everything you need, thus you can cook in the apartment. A nice fridge and TV with Netflix is also a bonus. Location is good, near grand baie beach and Super U.

Ibrahim, the manager, met me at reception, and we chatted over some fresh coffee. The one-bedroom apartment is on the second floor. He helped me get my bags up to the room. The room is very comfortable with fans in all rooms and air-con in the bedrooms. Lovely small kitchen with essential utensils. 10 min walk to Super U, a shopping mall with a supermarket and several food outlets. Next door to Banana Music Lounge, where I spent my week listening to the live band there in the evenings. There are many adventure shops around in this region of Mauritius; I recommend exploring and booking trips early if you plan to do any activities, as many sell out fairly quickly. However, the shops would always have someone else they trust and recommend when they are fully booked.

Absolutely nothing was wrong.

Amazing place, staying there is going to provide unforgettable experiences. The apartment was perfectly clean and well-equipped, on top of that simply beautiful and meticulously designed. Inner courtyard provides intimacy and safety, with comfortable seats and, again, impressive décor. The location couldn't be better, it's close to many restaurants, pubs and cafés. One public beach is just 5 minutes away, another one – within the distance of a 10-15 minute walk. Last but not least, the service was exquisite, and the people working there amazingly kind, friendly and thoughtful. Highly recommended choice!

The area directly outside of Dodo Square was not the best for the beach but there were lots of restaurants which was ideal. Just a few minutes drive in either direction there were many beautiful beaches.

The apartment was very clean and had everything you need for a short stay in Grand Baie. We were warmly welcomed and felt comfortable. The location was very central to explore that side of the coast.

Great location, beautiful surrounding atmosphere, restaurants nearby where we had dinner, good food and great value for money. We were welcomed by Mr Jabir, most friendly and helpful staff ever, lovely and great first impression. Everything about the property was exceptional. It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable. I was very pleased with my stay. I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future.

You can’t leave any food open in the kitchen because of the ants, but that is normal in Mauritius. If you don’t do that there are no ants :)

Small issue with shower not draining well, water pooled after about 5 minutes of being in the shower. This was flagged to staff and they attempted to resolve very quickly. Unfortunately, their efforts did not do much to improve the situation so had to manage a workaround by showering with less pressure. Could just be isolated to our particular room and not a major issue such that it peeved us off, just a mild annoyance.

Room was exceptionally clean. Front of house staff (Jabir) and housekeeping staff were warm, friendly and helpful. The stay is located inside a complex like building, gated, with other neighbouring rooms. This made it feel safe and vibrant at the same time. Dodo square is located directly on the main road in Grand Baie, the beach and all restaurants on its doorstep. We were sad to leave this place as it ticked all boxes.

Loved it Kind staffs :) New furnished furniture, cutlery...everything! Great location for shopping souvenirs and swimming! (La Cuvette public beach is a small but peaceful local beach) It was nice resting house for us. I recommend staying for 2 bed room apartment for a couple if you need to cook and stay more comfortable! No bugs!

The accommodation is really great, just Grand Baie beachfront isn't. The beach 20m in front is terrible, covered in rubbish. Whole area is a bit dingy, prostitutes, casino, etc. Mont Choisy beach, 5 mins drive away, is beautifully clean and shaded.

Everything is exceptionally clean, 5* beds, bed linen and bathroom. Gets cleaned every day like a hotel. It feels safe with entrance in a recessed area back from the street. The manager Jabir is extremely organised and helpful. And there are lots of helpful travel agencies and boat trips literally next door.
