Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Czech RepublicKitchen equipment could be newer and better. Mosquito nets in windows/doors would be super helpful at night. The location was a bit further from the beach because it was not possible to cross unoccupied plots nearby and get to the beach through a much shorter and faster route. Not owners fault of course
Spatious and cosy appartment, amazing terrace, Pascal and Fabrice as hosts were super nice and helpful. Very good supermarket 5 mins drive

United KingdomThere is a construction site directly behind the apartments which made it very noisy between 8am-4pm Monday-Friday so it is impossible to have a lie in. It is definitely not somewhere to stay if you are looking for peace and quiet but would recommend the accommodation if you have lots of activities planned and intend to be out all day. Fabrice did try to contact us to warn us about this at the time of booking. One very minor criticism is that the wifi was very hit and miss however this was not a problem for us during our stay. It is quite far away from local amenities and the beach, so hiring a car is definitely advisable.
Really enjoyed our stay at Belle Vue. Stayed for a week on our honeymoon and Fabrice and Pascale went over and above to make us feel special. They were always available to answer all our questions and give advice about the local area and nothing was too much for them. The flat itself was a little tired looking but it was a decent size with a nice terrace and it was perfectly adequate for our needs. The surrounding space at the property is beautiful with a nice garden and swimming pool for guests to relax in.

ItalyStaying at Ali, Pascale and Fabrice place has been one of our favorite adventures in Mauritius. Imagine a lush garden with palms and flowers, a pool overlooking the ocean and a roof terrace with sunset view, a studio all for yourself (plus friends or family of course), and still this is only part the experience. What you find in Bellevue Tamarin is a warm welcome and that family feeling that makes you wanna spend the whole day talking with your hosts. Fabrice, Pascale and Ali are very experienced in hosting guests from all over the world and they are exceptional at tailoring your stay based on your interests and passions. I would definitely recommend Bellevue Tamarin to anyone looking for a 5star experience without being in a resort or hotel. Thanks again Ali, Pascale and Fabrice, we’ll definitely be back :)

New ZealandThe room was quite warm and there was road noise when the windows were open. Both were helped when we were given a fan on request.
The guest house was well located for visiting the Black River National Park and Le Morne (we had a car). Lovely place set in a beautiful garden and the hosts were friendly and very helpful with local knowledge and suggestions.

Czech RepublicStay at Bellevue Tamarin was absolutely amazing. Very clean and I had everything I needed. Wifi in my room wasn’t working, but I was offered to work on the balcony at the penthouse, so it was much more better option with a beautiful view as an bonus. Fabrice and Pascal are such a welcoming and kind people. And also what you can excpect as a bonus are two german shepards with puppies ❤️. I would definitely stay again. Thank you for great memory and your kindest.
