Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

We liked literally everything there! Starting from the house, location to incredible service. The house is well located, about 3mins drive to Le Morne beach. It is equipped with everything you need, has a very modern kitchen, big bedrooms, nice dining area outside and amazing sitting area by the pool to spend the evenings outside. It has a beautiful garden, well sized swimming pool with multiple sunbeds and refreshing jacuzzi. The garden and swimming pool are regularly cleaned and maintained (gardener coming over every 2/3 days). The house and area outside were great. But the service and hospitality from the hosts were even better! Ancy and Lize made our stay in Le Morne unforgettable. They always go above and beyond to make the guests feel special. Ancy is fantastic, very attentive to details, kind and responsive, always willing to help and organize things for her guests. The dinners prepared by Ancy/Lize were the best we had in Mauritius! Fantastic local food, prepared and served with love (+ some local spices :D ). I would have rated our stay in La Villa Marie Joana 12 out of 10 if I could. Thank you Ancy and Lize for making our stay so special! We shall get back to you one day :)

A truly stunning villa in a beautiful location. Our host went out of her way to ensure we had a wonderful stay. She left us a welcome pack beyond what was needed and the Villa was exceptionally clean with a wonderful housemaid, Lise who cooked a beautiful dinner for us. The gardener kept the ground immaculate. The property was soo reasonable priced and our host booked trips for me to ensure we got the best deal.
