Lovely clean apartments, good sized pool, great outdoor kitchen area, really attentive host. We stayed with 2 other families so took the 3 apartments in the main house. Johanna couldn’t have been more helpful before and during our stay. She checked in regularly via text to ensure everything was good and suggested lots of nearby things to do/places to eat. We had an issue with the hot water and she sorted it the same day, which also happened to be a public holiday. Couldn’t recommend this place more!

The host was extremelly helpful and greeted us on arrival. They showed us around the place and explained everything in detail. They also were very welcoming and answered all the questions we had. The property has recently been renovated and has all the basic amenities as well as a few nice extras, like washing machine and dishwasher. 10/10

We had the best days in Johanna’s little paradise. Actually so good, that we decided to return later on our 4 weeks vacation in Mauritius. We felt at home the second we arrived. So we ended up spending 8 good nights there. Johanna met us in the garden and showed us around in the very spacious and beautifully decorated 2nd floor apartment. We loved the terrace and the garden with the pool and the barbecue. And Johanna is so kind and helpful. She made us a document with interesting things to see and do in the different regions of Mauritius.

We spent a pleasant week in this spacious, comfortable cottage. Cozy garden, but our favorite was the huge balcony. The location is close to most tourist spots, making it ideal for exploring the island.

We stayed in the ground floor apartment, though all the units are newly renovated, everything was brand new, comfortable. Lots of attention to small details, from having a water cooler to pool cutlery and crockery, Johanna thought about EVERYTHING! She made us feel very welcome, and was always available, even though we didn't lack anything. The pool and garden were awesome and we had a fish grill outside in the super ambience of the garden. Enough safe parking, an alarm system and small safe, it was all there! Close to local shopping areas, and loads of recommendations of where to eat or go for excursions.

Really nothing, it was better than anything we expected. But important to know that you do really need a car. The area where the villa is is very nice but walking 2km to the (nice) beach, restaurants or Super U is not really feasible.

It's just amazing and perfect. If you, as I was before booking, are doubting that this place can be as good as all the reviews say - don't doubt it! It really is that good. We took the risk and stayed in the 1st floor apartment, with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, a large kitchen and enormous terrace with a view over the garden/pool. Beds top quality, showers brand new, kitchen perfectly equipped with top end pots, etc. And it was so worth it! - it's really much better than the photos. Johanna is totally invested in the place which makes a huge difference. She is so fun and friendly and took great care of us during Cyclone Belal. Another advantage we had not anticipated was that it's up a slight hill, so if there is bad weather, you are much better off. We liked this area more than Grand Baie, it's less touristy, more residential. Don't hesitate, book now (while it's still affordable...)

Johanna was the most caring and thoughtful host possible. We felt welcomed immediately and taken care of during our whole stay. The cottage we stayed in was modern and clean. Containing all necessities you can ask for. With a separate terrace and entrance we felt we had our privacy although there is a shared garden and pool. The shared garden with a nice pool and sunbathing chairs was highly appreciated. Extra bonus for the bbq facility. As a host and responsible for the residence, Johanna has a rare attention for details. Overall the whole place had a cozy and ambient feeling to it. Exactly what you expect when on a vacation to a paradise island like Mauritius.

- We got much more than expected. All the consumables in the kitchen, in the bathroom… Even beach chairs and sun umbrella - Johanna is an amazing hostess! She helped us all along our vacation, advised where to go, what to see, whom to call and much more - The appartments itself are very cosy and comfortable with great view (we stayed on the highest floor) and lovely barbecue area near the pool. From the very first day you can feel how much love and effort Johanna brought to this place. We loved a lot this specific place and Mauritius in general. Will come back for sure!

There was nothing that I didn’t like as such, however as the apartment is in a residential area, a car is necessary.

The property had great facilities. Hospitality of the host is very commendable. There was car parking, air conditioning in both bedrooms and the apartment we chose was very spacious. The kitchen was very well equipped. The host had left breakfast for us on our arrival day which was very kind. She also helped us by introducing us to contacts for car hire and all the activities. Tamarin bay was just three minutes drive from this property.

This is one of the best locations for the accommodation with in Tamarin I have seeing if you: - Like intimacy and clean stylish and cozy atmosphere. - Want to have pool and amazing BBQ equipped with everything (on top of fully equipped kitchen). - Enjoy places which have soul.

This our first stay at Mauritius,and It was the best stay among of our stays. We were the first guests of the grand floor of this hidden treasure house. Rooms are spacious and clean. You will have all the Kitchenware you need. The host -Johanna,she is such a beautiful and delightful person,she gave us a warmly welcome after a long flight. She has the best kitchen supplies,not like others places,She is really caring people who is staying in her places. As my son had high fever,she also recommended a good doctor for us,we really appreciate. I was just asked where to buy Croissant,what surprised me was that she brought a big bag of Croissants for us in the early morning after she dropped off her children to school. Whatever she recommended were great,restaurants,activities and so on She even answered my questions after we checkout. She is really a great person!

We had the privilege of being the inaugural guest in this place – Lakaz Del Sol - now that's what I call some top-tier VIP vibes! Seriously, it's like they snapped their fingers and turned this place into a total dream. Everything's spanking new, from the appliances to the sheets – talk about a comfy setup. The garden? Straight-up luxury vibes. Big pool, BBQ area, and there's even this cool bar next to the pool. Picture this: tables under the trees, perfect for chilling and soaking up the good vibes with your crew. They've got this departure lounge that's like the cherry on top (perfect for my late check-out), plus they also have free private parking. Just a quick 3-minute drive and you're at the beach, surrounded by top-notch restaurants and supermarket. The host, Johanna, went above and beyond to make sure everything was on point. Seriously, everything was spot-on, and we're already making plans to roll back next year for a longer stay and this time with some friends. Big shoutout to the host for making our stay next-level awesome. Can't wait to do it all over again! See you soon!

My stay at this guest house has been nothing short of fantastic! Being one of the first guests in this gem, the experience has been amazing – just like the pictures and descriptions promised. The apartment is spot-on, with awesome furnishings that are clearly well-loved and taken care of. The whole property is a charm – neat, tidy, and inviting. The apartment itself is a sweet setup, and you can tell the host and her team put a lot of heart into it. They've gone above and beyond to make sure every bit of our stay is top-notch. My absolute favorite moment was sipping on my cocktail under the shade of the trees, watching the kids having a blast in the pool, all while my husband worked his magic on the braai. It was the perfect blend of relaxation, good food and family fun🍹🌳👨‍👩‍👧‍👦🔥 I highly recommend this guest house and am very grateful to the host and her team for making our stay unforgettable!
