Great value rooms for those who want to visit Le Morne. We stayed at la Gaulette and absolutely loved it. It's just 5 minutes by car to the Le Morne Beach. Mathieu was very responsive and let us keep the luggage after the checkout. The rooms are great size, and you're surrounded by banana trees. The rooftop terrace is great for a drink in the evening. Would definitely stay again.

Mathieu is a gentleman and an amazing host, he contacted us as he could not get back for our arrival. he shot 3 videos and sent via WhatsApp so everything was explained which was extremely helpful and thoughtful. The rooms are a good size with a lovely table and chairs out the front with sun loungers. The air con was a real added bonus. A lot of communal areas near the pool, the roof top is amazing very large and comfortable with stunning views. A lovely place for the evenings and star gazing. There is a kitchen and all amenities, however a small shopping mall is 10 minutes walk with a large supermarket, great restaurant (Enzo's) with great food and music. A pharmacy some shops and a great place for breakfast, there are many convenience stores and a few places for breakfast, lunch and dinner all 5 minutes walk. Mathieu could not be more helpful and sociable, he kindly gave advise on the area and things/excursions do do. Terrasses du Bénitier is beautiful........ a real gem.

Big room. Calm and quiet. Modern, very clean. Beautiful roof terrace. Nice size pool for a cooling dip. Location was perfect for trips to the National Park and le morne beach. Basic kitchen and good supermarket near. Recomend Aloha restaurant.

The room is a little stuffy since it has an en suite open shower. The rooftop jacuzzi is not a real jacuzzi with warm water and bubbles.

Staff is exteremely friendly and professional. Property was ery clean and comfortable. Mathieu is very helpful with many recommendations.

For the beach is necessary to use taxi or car, it´s about 6km away.

Very nice modern designed appartments, with the swimming pool just in front of the rooms. On the rooftop terasse also jacuzzi available. From the terrasse nice view on the ocean. The owner Mathieu is ready to help or recommend, if necessary.

It is not a quiet and peaceful area, so after sunset there is a lot of noise. Cockroaches always ruin my mood on holiday, but I understand it's hard to avoid them in this climate, especially if you have a lot of plants planted everywhere.

Very nice place with an awesome host that really cares about you and that also cares about offering a clean place to stay. The room and the surroundings are cleaned daily. Both the Terasse and the roof top are perfect places to chill. Moreover, you have an amazing view from the roof top.

There were only a couple of problems with the accommodation. First was that there was no sign on the building to let you know that you had arrived there. The second was that it was difficult to arrange transport if you did not have your own car, which is more of a problem with the quiet location of la gaulette than the accommodation itself.

Really nice apartment and building filled with nice small touches. Beautiful and modern with a lovely terrace and a lovely rooftop with great swimming pool and great views. Matthieu was a kind and willing host and the cleaner Sandya was really sweet too. The facilities were great and the kitchen made for a great stay allowing you to also save money.

great location and facilities. the room is in a gorgeous building with a beautiful rooftop and pool area. there is everything you need in the rooms and they were very clean and tidy. there is a big supermarket within walking distance, and some great restaurants, we had one of our best meals in Mauritius at Frizzy around the corner. highly recommended.
