Not much to dislike, they clearly are always improving and take note of minor things to improve. Dinner onsite would be nice, as the number of restaurants in walking distance are not numerous. If you have transport this is no issue.

Very friendly staff and owner, they really want to accommodate all your needs without being pushy. Breakfast is simple but good and rooms are spacious and clean with basic++ needs including a mini fridge. Pool has a sunny and shade side throughout the day which is nice if you want to stay in or out of the sun/heat.

Nothing I can find to point out. Everything was really nice.

The staff were very helpful and nice, always asking if they can help with something. They really want you to have a good time. :) They seemed to work as a team really well and were always on the lookout for what else can be done. The breakfast is exceptional. Fresh fruits, juice, omlettes, pancakes, ... We had our flight late in the evening so they gave us a late checkout free of charge. The pool is cleaned regularly and it's a peacefull place.

On weekends we heard music from a bar/hotel nearby. After 10:30pm it was quiet though. Our suite was located at the end of the hotel, in other rooms closer to the entry it might be even more quiet.

We spent 5 months in Mauritius and have seen quite a few different stays. Maison Du Nord was our last stay before we headed home. We had an outstanding experience during our 10 days here. The staff and the owner were exceptionally friendly and helpful, no matter what inquiry we had. As guests, we felt very welcomed and appreciated. Even though this is not a luxery hotel price-wise, it is definitely 5 stars from the service perspective! The breakfast was avarage in variety, but the omelettes and pancakes were awesome. Freshly made to our liking, we had those every day. For me, who loves a protein-rich breakfast, I couldn't get enough. The owner invited us to a traditional mauritian dinner a which was unexepected and very nice! Also, he and his staff had great recommendations for food, restaurants and activities. They even organised snorkling trips for the hotel guests which were worth every penny. For 1,000 rs per person we got a 1,5h snorkling trip to the reef at troux aux biches. If you book those at the beach, it will often cost you around 1,500-2,000 rs. We can truly recommend a stay here!

We would like to stay longer:)

We fell in love with this hotel. It is a smaller complex that provides enough privacy. The equipment of the rooms is modern and clean, the bathrooms are spacious. sitting on the terrace or balcony in front of the apartment is very pleasant. The breakfast is famous, they will cook you any eggs you like. The hotel staff behaves like family, there is a really great atmosphere. For us it was the best stay out of the 4 hotels we had the opportunity to stay in during our holiday in Mauritius.

Room in ground floor was not sunny and felt cold sometimes. Complimentary tea and coffee could be provided with the kettle in a room.

Staff very helpful and friendly. Gave me good ideas about traveling around. Room was spacious, bed was comfortable, room was cleaned daily, someome always next to the gate/reception, so felt safe there. Close there are a few shops and places for food, but in general need to get a bus to go to a beach or walk to Mon Choicy is around 20min one way.

Very beautiful place, big room with all you need with excellent breakfast included. parking available at site i was impressed by the staff attitude, they are trying to solve you all your problems / requests, good talk as well, treating customers like family. they help me to get my delayed luggage from the flight (making call to the airport, making sure they will deliver the luggage). Suite room says it can sleep up to four but there is no way more than three people could fit.

The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. Nice pool, just wish it was closer to the beach! About a 10-15 minute walk, but very worth it. The closest beach of the most peaceful beaches we have seen on the island.

We loved the personal, generous and accommodating hospitality. Details such as providing us with ice cream when we failed to find a place to buy dessert and offering a late check out made this stay very memorable. As multiple reviews also point out, the breakfast was varied and included freshly made pancakes and omlettes, which were delicious.

It would be great if they would offer the possibility to have dinner on site. The pillows were a bit flat for our taste.

Very friendly staff, they do their best to make your stay as comfortable as possible. We really appreciated that the owner came by every morning to say hi and chat with us a little bit while we had breakfast. We felt like they really care about their guests. I liked the attention to details such as having enough wall sockets, hangers in the bathroom, etc. The breakfast is fresh and quite varied.

I liked everything. However,I would like to suggest to add Hb and Fb package in the room rates as option. Moreover,if you could implement room service facilities would be great.

From the arrival of our stay,itself the impression was amazing. The way they serve you the fresh guava juice or even the way they deal with a situation is really remarkable. All the staffs are very nice and customer service oriented. They gave you the Mauritian welcoming which guest are actually coming to seek for.

Everything was perfect!! From the moment we arrived we were warmly welcome and taken care of the whole time!! Everyone working at this place is so kind, friendly and supportive. They would always go the extra mile to make you stay extra special. We obviously prolonged our stay a couple of nights. The rooms are so spacious, clean and comfortable. Everything matched our expectations. I just had a few suggestions to make it an even better experience. If provided with a few fresh drinking water bottles every day at the rooms it will be very much appreciated by the customers. An additional resturant to serve dinner needs could be a plus for people staying at the hotel.

Being an Indian family, we had time at this location as there were alot of Indian restaurants 5 mins away from the stay. All the staff from the owner Mr. Vishnu to all his colleagues were really helpful and ready to help in any which way possible. Fairly new place with freshly painted walls. The breakfast was exceptional and really tasty and they adjust the timing in case you have to leave early for a particulary schedule packed day. Noor and prerna made sure that the food was right up to the mark and matched our taste needs. If needed they can sort you out with catamaran and speed boat tours around the island and help with reservations across Mauritius. Car parking inside the campus was great as we were stress free about the rental car being parked.
