We arrived at Mauritius at early May and our experience was great overall. Tam studios was the best choice we could make! The place is spacious, cozy and quite. There was cleaning service everyday, parking for our car and a common washing machine. The kitchen was well equipped with all the necessary and we had warm water all the time. The most unexpected thing was the level of kindness and willingness to help us with whatever we asked from Raz and his wife. This is something that for sure you don't meet very often and it made us feel like home! Thanks 🙏 for all the help guys! Looking forward to be back!

I was looking for a place to stay in the West of Mauritius but was hesitant to book Tam Studio following all the negative reviews in a row below. However, i’m glad that i booked for one night. I honestly dont understand why there were so many negative reviews. It is a cosy apartment furnished with all the facilities one could imagine. Quality service is provided for such an affordable price. When i arrived, I was greeted by the owner, Mr Raaz who was very welcoming and even suggested places to visit in Mauritius. He is very kind and was always available by phone. I have stayed in many places across the world but never met someone as kind and as dedicated as Mr Raaz. Even though i did not book the car and airport transfer in advance, he tried his best to rent me a car and even organised the airport transfer at a very affordable price. I would definitely stay longer at Tam Studio during my holidays next time. Thank you Mr Raaz!

Perfect place in good location, near is a supermarket and good restaurant, near is a bus stop. Of course it is very difficult to travel on Mauritius without driver’s licenses, but if you will sometimes on bus it is really good location of apartments. Very good owner and guys, who works there. All people in Mauritius are very kindness and always smiling:)

The TV is smart TV but netflix did not work due to poor wifi.

The studio was clean, spacious. Kitchen facilities were adequate. There is a fan and an AC in the studio. Daily house keeping provided (not on weekends). The hosts were very friendly and helped us settle in. We were on the first floor so had the balcony, which was nice. We stayed during the cyclone level 3 and felt safe in the property. There is parking onsite, with manual gates you have to open and close each time.

The bathroom is a little older, but we did not care about that at all. You can't expect a brand new apartment for this amazing price.

It was spacious and comfortable and the location is amazing to start trips to Le Morne or the National Park. Check in and check out was super easy. Such great value for money!

Raaz and his wife Lina are absolutely wonderful hosts :). Our 14-day stay at their studio exceeded our expectations. The bed is so big and so cozy so we have very comfortable sleep. Lina pick trash every dan, change towels and cleaned the studio.We highly recommend staying with them.

I was at ground floor and the apartment was full of aunts every day. In general the apartment should be a bit renewed to be more modern , like for example the toilet. La Gaulette is a non touristic area and you will have to move always by car. To arrive to the north it takes 1.30h so it depends on what you are looking for: for hiking and more wild life this is a perfect place.

The apartment is big, daily cleaned with change of towels and located very close to supermarket and La Morne beach. The big value added of it is the staff: Raaz and his wife are amazing hosts, always available to support at any time and doing much much more than many other hosts.

I loved my three night stay here. The first afternoon on arrival went trail running with a very nice owner to the nearby hills and Chamarel waterfalls. Was able to rent a bicycle for two days and it was a great way to go to Le Morne beach and hiking trails and also all the way uphills to Cascade 500 pieds, Gorges viewpoint and Chamarel. Room was huge and modern and was also cleaned every day. I also enjoyed La Gaulette in general. My favourite area in Mauritius!

We needed to pay attention to the small lizards but we got used with them in the end.

It was a big room with all the facilities for our stay there. The place was clean and each day someone came to pick up the trash and to clean the room. Also, the small terrace was really nice for enjoying our meals and for chilling in the night. Raaz our host was really nice, always available for our questions and helped us with the car renting and rented us 2 bicycles for one day. Also the place is close to Le Morne and to the Black River park where we had enjoyed many hikes and walks.

The well-furnished studio is spacious and spot clean. Noisy, on the balcony, with the main road close by, but it eases off in the evening when traffic slows down. Not a problem though as there's always the possibility of staying indoors with the air con on.
