Limited sun loungers. Day visitors whilst the upper floors are closed massively restricted the amount of available sun beds.

Altogether a wonderful experience, maybe just as an improvement idea - the sliding doors in the room can use some upgrade as they are beautiful but pretty old.

Next to the location, which I find outstanding, I have rarely felt so comfortable as a guest somewhere! The stuff - restaurant, cleaning, reception - everyone was charming, polite and welcoming in a very authentic and human way, which made it hard to wanna leave this place! The room was clean and comfortable, the food satisfying, both Mont Choisy and Trou aux Biches beaches are very close and the town of Grand Baie is 10 mins by bus! The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere and a cosy sea view. In the evening there is a very pleasant ambient at the bar so it's also a great place to enjoy good cocktails!

Two things which I have missed in my room is having an iron (which I asked at reception to keep in my room) and a phone to call reception in case I needed to know something or request room service

My room was always clean and cool - it was always a pleasure to get to my room after working the day. The restaurant staff were amazing - Prikash and Jason always gave the best service and recommendations. Reception staff were always friendly and helpful.

It was no problem for me because I'm a nature lover, but some people may be spooked that the tree in the hotel forecourt is full of gigantic flying foxes that can be menacing and noisy.

This hotel is ingeniously designed to offer light, air, quiet and - quite a trick - privacy and great sea views. It is perfectly perched on the end of a wide sandy bay with sparkling clear water and a shady forest. The staff are friendly, helpful and discreet. The restaurant offers tasty treats and good drinks overlooking an infinity pool and the beach itself. Simply sublime.

The floor of the room was not clean. Walking bare foot in there is enough to realise - I feel that this category of hotel should provide a floor that doesn't make your feet black... Apologies were given and additional cleaning was provided with the explanation of canne ashes spreading all over the country during this season (which I believe is true). Nevertheless, all other hotels I have been to during my stay in Mauritius (5 hotels) managed to clean the floor properly. The breakfast could be better. It is quite basic.

Lovely quiet location but you really need a car as although there are a few restaurants around Mystik it feels isolated.Bus services to Grand Bae are fine until about 6 pm- after that you would need to use a taxi. Bedrooms really need updating- look tired and dated. Bedding and towels fairly worn and definitely need replacing. Hotel seems short of staff particularly in the restaurant/ bar and service can be slow. Food beautifully cooked and presented and relatively inexpensive but menu is limited- need greater variety.

Excellent location,beautiful view and set on a wonderful beach. Nice restaurant and bar and great lounge on 1st floor. Nice spa calm and relaxing. Lovely pool / towels provided. Bottled water provided daily in room. Safe in room. Excellent COVID measures in place- wearing masks/ sanitizer available and social distancing - this helped us feel safe. Excellent shower in bathroom and hairdryer

The service at the dinner was quite slow, could be improved. Also I would reconsider the menu that is offered on half board, more local food would be fine.

Location-close to 2 nice beaches, that are easily reachable by a short walk, bus stop is opposite the hotel. Room was cozy as well as whole hotel, since it is a small hotel you feel very comfortable. Very nice terrace with the pool. And taxi driver who works for the hotel is great!

I didn't liked the music which was played all the day long. In the morning it was chill music and quite nice but in the afternoon untill late evening it was loud remix of 80's. For me difficult conditions to relax fully. Also the hotel needs some refurbishment.

The hotel was generally very nice with good breakfast and chef's menu. I loved the birds singing in the morning and having a chill in a swimming pool. Also the staff was very gentle and caring.

The food menu is mostly fast food, not many vegetarian options and the burgers are really dry. The cocktails are not above average.

The staff is extremely friendly and forthcoming, 5 star hotels can learn from their attitude. The scenery is gorgeous and the day beds are really comfortable. The breakfast is good but nothing special, but the grilled vegetables are a nice healthy addition to the usual unhealthy English breakfast options.

1. If you pay for the "Full Board" menu, please note that for dinner your choice will be limited to 2 vegetarian (!) meals. And of course, any drinks are sold separately, so be prepared :) 2. Extremely long waiting time for the service at the restaurant. 30-40 minutes is considered as normal waiting time.. Sometimes we had to wait more than 1 hour before we can enjoy our meal.. 3. Unclear rules for the "Full Board" paid in advance: if you order any food outside of the 'service hours', you will have to pay for it.. 4. Inconvenient bathroom facilities: when you use the sink, the floor ALWAYS gets wet.

Excellent hotel, everything is clean, everything is beautiful, the food is just super. Chief Cook Brandon is very talented. He can cook any dish you wish! Everything is very professional, everything is at the highest level, just a super holiday! The managers are very good, all the workers are super, both at the bar and at the kitchen and the waiters are all simply top notch, well done! We didn’t want to leave. Thank you, Brandon! The food was not very nice at all, there is only one menu for the whole week and after 3 days I had to leave even though I had paid for a full seven days for my Sister and myself. The restaurant is outside so the local dogs tend to be very friendly and in close attendance, The ants and flying insects compete quite vigorously for the food on offer and the rat I saw running across the floor seemed to be well fed. apart from 2 nights a week there is no entertainment and nowhere else to go close by.

The pool and the view over the ocean were magnificent.

Everything was great!

The location is fantastic, there is a beautiful beach right next to the hotel, so you can enjoy a wonderful view and beautiful days on the sandy beach ☀️🏝️ The rooms are spacious and very comfortable, also very clean and cozy. The restaurant offers a great selection of food and drinks for every taste 😋 And the pool area! Really a great place to rest and enjoy the island life🍹
