It was a bit difficult to cool down the living room properly as there was no air conditioning there.

The bed was really comfortable. The air conditioning in the bedroom was also very helpful. We also loved having access to the pool. There was even a parking space inside the compound so our car was safe overnight.

The apartment is really nice and cosy with two balconies, a big bathroom and two bedrooms. It makes you feel like you were at home. It has everything you need to make your stay comfortable. The owner is really helpful, and he arranged for us the tour to swim with dolphins and whales. I truly recommend this place if you go to the south of Mauritius.

It was so peaceful. Such a well run establishment, I wish I had booker for longer. La Gaullette is serene and the people kind. Loved Lola the brown lab, she is so sweet. I think Ben is involved with some tours, because of time and business plans I didn't get to ask him... but you should!

The place is large with a well equipped kitchen, smart TV and a large balcony too. The balcony and main bedroom have views of Le Morne Brabant mountain which is spectacular over sunset. The accommodation isn't far from shops and restaurants. Ben was incredibly helpful and even took us to collect our food when we couldn't get a taxi due to torrential rains. The place is modern and overall we had a pleasant stay!

There was nothing to complain about the apartment itself. However, in case you have no car, don't stay in La Gaulette. There is nothing there: it has no beach to swim, 3 restaurants, 2 fruit and vegetable stands, a supermarket, a few tiny shops, basically that's it. On the other hand, if you have a car, it's a perfect location for all the trips in the south, as Chamarel, Grand Bassin, Le Morne are just a few kilometers away. Le Morne beach is the closest beach, approx. 5 km-s away, but there is no bus going there.

Pingo Premium apartment is a perfect accommodation in La Gaulette, if that is your destination. The apartman itself is very spacious, comfortable, clean and well maintained, the kitchen well equipped. We were told that the maid is coming in every 2 days, but she came almost every day. Ben, the owner and his wife are very helpful, they were always ready to assist us if there was a need. The accommodation is the far end of the village, supermarket is about 1.3 km, and the 3 closest restaurants about 1 km. You will definitely need a car. We were lucky, as Ben organized a car for us, otherwise we would have been stuck there as none of the car rentals had cars available, so we could go exploring the south part of the Island. The fruit and vegetable stand right across the apartment was convenient. (The only little weird thing is that one of the bathroom doors is non-existent, which is fine if it's only you and your partner staying in the apartment, but in case you have guests in the apartment, wait until they leave. :))

Toiletries (even toothpaste!) and drinking water weren't available in the accommodation. However, when brought to the host's attention, he did provide the things we asked for, but they should have been there to start with.

Comfortable accommodation, all kitchen facilities available, very friendly and helpful host (Ben was amazing, we went on a wonderful private swimming with dolphins tour with him!), quite close to the beach and supermarket.

The studio had a huge and confortable bed, the sofa in the living room was also big and comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. The best part was the terrace, perfect for having a meal and chill time :) + the owner is very friendly and goes out of his way to help. if you are in need of advice, just have to ask :)

Pingo is modern and well-kept apartment stay. It looks really good, better than on pictures. Terrace was great and fully equipped. It's located near the main road, but it was quiet, because windows are in opposite site. Price to quality ratio is ultra high. Host is helpful. I highly recommend this place.

Good value for price. There is everything you need in the appartement. Easy check-in & check-out. +++ = we have done 2 private tours with th owner : Le Morne and Dolfins. It was amazing, both were great. If you have time, do something with Ben:)

In the afternoon the Wifi was not working

Cleanliness, the pool, the big living, big dressing and comfortable bed. The rooms were good looking. The host was very helpful and willing to help us out also he recommended places. It's a good place to leave if you want to swim at Le Morne if you have a car. There is plenty parking place! I would definitely return.

Ben our host is very very friendly. He helped us with any question. The boattour whating whales, dolfines, snorkeling was super. On our way back we went turned round again as they heart there were another whales there. So an extra hour the boat with the earning we saw extra whales.
