Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomThe beach was a bit dirty with the algae. Also the location can be an issue if you spend a few days at the island. To get to most of the activities is 1-1,5 away by taxis.
The hotel is really nice. Bigger compared to the pictures. Very nice bed and toilet. Nice decoration. Food very tasty, and staff very helpful.

The vue from the hotel was great, the staff at the restaurant and the bar were honestly amazing. Especially Ali and Yachiv who made our stay even more special.

SwitzerlandWe were honestly quite disappointed with our stay. Very small and moldy room, the grounds were not very well maintained, no attention to detail. Definitely not worth five stars and definitely no value for money.

United KingdomGym was a little tired and there was no water cooler / water provided in the public areas which is quite standard these days. Not the best food we had in Mauritius but good. Be aware there is nothing outside the resort ( no store to wander too ) so would need a car to explore. Beach is small and not the best beach but 3 min walk takes you to the lovely beach wide bay and beach of the C Hotel practically next door. This hotel also is a great lunch option.. The buffet there is excellent and they take outside guest if your book and pay at reception.
Staff very friendly and attentive. The fact that it was adult only and quiet. The spa was good.

HungaryHotel is absolutely isolated from everything. You cannot go outside for a walk, no shops around. I felt personnel was sometimes annoyed, but not everybody - there were few people who were very nice and friendly. It was our honeymoon, but hotel didn’t care about that. Neither we could get an early check-in.
Private beach just in front of the hotel, which is very comfortable. Nice dinners, but breakfast was a bit poor. Room cleaning was everyday, everything was very clean and fresh. There was very friendly personnel at the beach bar.

United StatesIn relation to the price and how it was presented, the quality of the dinner meals was disappointing. While the beach was cleaned regularly it wasn’t - due to algae - not very pleasant to go into the water (tho rather an issue of the hotel’s location than the hotel per se).
The staff was extremely helpful upon request and arranged for various reservations in outside restaurants as well as for transportation.

GermanyWe wanted to book the Hotel directly there but the guy working at the counter was soooo unfriendly and told us there is only the very high priced room free until I told him Booking.com shows also other rooms way cheaper. After i booked online he ignored us first and was extremely unfriendly. Very sad that he was so unprofessional but the rest of the personal was very friendly :)

LithuaniaThe location is quite far from main points of attraction in Mauritius (diving, hiking, etc.) No restaurants or bars that you could reach on foot if you would like to have food / drink outside the hotel (most are other hotels that do not accept non residents). The beach is full of sea weed, which is being cleaned everyday, but still the entrance to the see is not very nice. Dinner is ok if you are hungry, but rather average.
Small hotel with a boutique vibe. Very nice and attentive staff. More than enough beach beds for everyone.

SwitzerlandThe facility’s elegant with big spaces and an exceptional location on the beach. The resort is quite small and hasn’t too many guests (perfect for a getaway from the chaos of a metropolis). Almost all rooms have a view or partial view on the ocean. With opened windows the winds and the waves allowed nights of deep sleeps. Unfortunately there’re many mosquitoes (sliding mosquito nets on the balcon windows would be a great improvement!). The whole place is very clean, the rooms have cleaning services twice a day; the cleaning personnel has sometimes not enough respect for the personal items in the room (removed from their place, put them under other things, etc… not a big deal, but personal stuff is personal, if you move them… move them back!). The beach was per se amazing: 5meters from the water, only two rows of chaises longs. Unfortunately there’s A LOT of smelly seaweed around. They tried to clean them up but they just stockpiled them on the “side” (between the chaises longues and the ocean… this can be without any doubt improved!!). The reception staff was incredibly kind and helpful. The rest of the staff was, at times, absent and kind of rude. You can’t just pass the guests by and ignore them if a question was being asked. It happened quite a bit and it bothered us greatly. Maybe our young age wasn’t emanating enough “money aura” for them. (Of course there were exceptions). The cuisine was very sophisticated and the plates tasty. The chefs showed some difficulties on easier meals (like pizzas or pastas), but the dinner menus were good. Unfortunately even with an all inclusive experience the menú’s choices were limited. During dinner if you had a half-board you could enjoy just a mere 30% of they offered (or you had to pay expensive extra fees). The same goes for all inclusive guests during lunch. This was a big disappointment. Everything was about money even though the resort was already very expensive.

SwitzerlandIt is difficult to explain but we didn't like the food of the restaurant. It seems good for all intentions and purposes, but we found it heavy and too elaborate for no good reason. Also, if you went half board, you couldn't just order something simple, e.g. burger. You had to go for a three course elaborate menu every night. The simpler options were available for room service, but you had to pay. They weren't covered by half board. Breakfast quality was not good (apart from crepes and a couple of other things). They could go for less variety and better quality. For instance, fewer types of bread but fresher, fewer types of cheese but better quality etc. Any additional food events, such as BBQ, were very expensive.
Amazing views, tasteful design, nice common areas, comfortable bed, and extremely professional, kind, and welcoming staff. We had an issue with our booking (information on reservation didn't match the room we got), which was swiftly acknowledged and resolved by changing our room. Also offered kayak, snorkels, and some other options. The beach in front of the hotel is not the best for swimming, but the hotel staff is doing its best to keep it free of seaweed. Also you can walk 5 minutes in either direction and get nice access to the sea as well.

BrazilI was there with my son, so for us it was a little boring. No music, no bars TV and the obligation to use pants in all restaurants at night. Come on, we are on the beach, right? But ok, my fault for not reading all the rules before book it. And also no twin beds available. It is a really couple hotel.
It is a fantastic place to go if you think about total relaxing and quiet place and if you like formal dinner hotel. Breakfast was good and people are very kind.
