1. The property is old, and it’s been renovated. 2. Bathroom size was small, and it was uncomfortable to use it especially with family and kids (I got to know later that the property had several other rooms with slightly big bathrooms and they could have moved us to other room had we informed about it). 3. The AC was not working in the room (but on request we were immediately moved to another room. So, thanks for that). 4. There were cockroaches in the room and washroom. But they provided us the pest spray to spray at room as an alternative). As mentioned above, the staff did everything they could to support you wherever you required any assistance and tried to make the stay comfortable.

My recent stay at Sikamifer tourist resort was good & satisfactory. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth by the attentive staff. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and I was impressed by the cleanliness and comfort of my room. The hotel's amenities met the basic requirements needed for the stay considering it’s a budget accommodation. There was access to gym, Hammam & Sauna, and kid’s corner (even though we didn’t used it). Throughout my stay, the staff went above and beyond to ensure that I had everything I needed. The central location of the hotel made it convenient for me to explore the island. Breakfast was included in the price. They were generous enough to offer us coffee on request at night when we learnt that the local shops are closed due to public holiday on 9th Apr. There is space for parking, but you need to handover the car keys so that staff can move the vehicle if some other guests want to park or remove their car.

Not much to do in the evening in the area so without car you just gotta stay in the place. Only few chairs by the pool which is in the inner block of buildings.

Great position in order to explore south part of the island. The room was clean. The stuff very helpful. Perfect usage of sauna once outside was a bad weather.

Very limited parking spaces. They are busy with renovations and the newer rooms are lovely.

We had such a warm welcoming and the staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. The accommodation was clean and well thought out design. Loved the trees and the view of the mountains in the distance. Great convenient location for public transport.

The staff were very polite, helpful, always listening to what was needed.. I would like to thank specially the breakfast lady really really kind, she was always smiling and nice ..so THANK YOU.. same goes for the staff in the reception

It can be very noisy if you are a light sleeper

I liked the location. I also like the fact that it had its own little gym. There are couple of staffs worth mentioning. Ms Rajinee was always very welcoming and helpful and Mr Sam always found time to stop and ask if I was ok and we would have a little chat. True Mauritian spirit

Nothing to complain about.

The location is very good if you want a quiet place away from traffic noise. The room was spacious enough to fit two adults and on child. There is a lift for the three storey hotel. Breakfast was a four-star buffet. Breakfast staff was very helpful, especially Mr. Sam. The swimming pool and gym were add-on to the hotel - Bravo!!! I booked for two nights but extended my stay in the same hotel up to three more nights because of the service and the facilities. I again applaud all members of staff for the excellent service - keep it up.

a bit noisy with some kids running around during the first 2-3 days of our stay but it was settled the next teaming days until check out!

Lack of tea/coffee in the rooms, Lack of water filter for guests to have free access to drinking water, No Entertainment facilities at the hotel itself

Great Location as it's near Metro station and also bus station. Nearby is Main market which means lot of restaurants, supermarket, shops, etc. Helpful and Friendly hotel staff, Nice Breakfast including boiled eggs, omelette, Breads, Fruits, Cereal, Tea, Coffee, yogurt. Beautiful clean swimming pool . Rooms have small fridge, hot wster Kettle, and even digital safe to keep valuables.

There were some noise from some sports delegations staying at the hotel and no WiFi availability from our room on the third floor. Had to go down to the first floor or the courtyard to have internet access.

The staff was friendly and courteous upon welcome and throughout our whole stay. The breakfast was good and filling. Hotel was clean and rooms were cleaned everyday if the room key is left at the hotel.

The breakfast was a bit sparse, but the selection was OK. Children running up and down the balcony was a bit annoying. But can’t blame the hotel for that.

Staff were always ready to assist with any queries even during the night hours. Jennifer the Manager as well as Sam were extremely friendly; helpful and well assisting in all the queries. The location was great as it was central to all the tourist spots and just sufficient to get back and relax.

I would prefer the sauna was on from this time to that time running. I couldn't enjoy it as I have to give 30mins in advance notice so that they can heat it. I would suggest if they have put it on different time on it would give the guests an idea when to use it as wen u are on holiday one doesn't have enough time. But the lady at the reception was very friendly and did say that she can heat it in 30mins. The room I was I didn't get signal on my phone but once I was outside my room there were signal everywhere in the building. The decor is very beautiful nice n lovely garden at the back n lots of facilities in the villa. The breakfast was very nice. Fresh fruit juice, grapes eggs cereals etc.

I like the size of the room. It was clean n the staffs were friendly, helpful and caring.

The breakfast was OK, but cleanliness was a concern when we noticed bugs on the meat. We focused on packaged food. The shower was the smallest I've ever experienced. It was an adventure. The bed comfort was so, so. Parking was an extreme challenge. The hotel is located in a long alley with a 1 car lane. Neighbors were a bit unfriendly.. However, the place seemed safe.

The manager or owner was very personable and friendly; The location of the hotel is located in a place that made it easy to find a restaurant to eat dinner. The room seemed to be clean and comfy. The toilet was separated from the shower.

The location is very good. There are shops and restaurants around. The Manager Jennifer was quite helpful and assisted us to follow up with the airlines to recover our luggages. She also gave us links to a driver and the location of shopping malls.
