Beach restaurants was really slow with the breakfast that they invited us to for our honeymoon, was better and we would not finish hungry if we were going to the regular buffet The ceiling fan was extremely loud and rocked like a ship, didn't kept using it after the 1st try was afraid he would fall on us while sleeping

There were no vegetarian options in the restaurant. They prepare vegetarian meal on demand and the charges for that were too high. We didn’t know the location would be so secluded that we won’t get any food options around otherwise we would have chosen an all inclusive package only.

It’s a beautiful property right on the beach, away from all the hustle of the city. Loved chilling by the ocean side on sun-beds all day long sipping on cocktails. Numerous life size board games are there along with multiple pools, spa and reading room to pass time. They keep organising activities like volleyball or other games to keep guests engaged. Loved the Tuesday Sundowner setup the most.

For breakfast, water, tea, juice and drinks are available in abundance but during dining you have to buy flat water. We believe that water is an essential component of the open buffet and must be made available free- at least the first bottle. You would not enjoy swimming in the sea as it is too shallow and there is a current.

Staff were very caring, smiling and helping all the time. Food was excellent. I could see the sea from my doorstep and sitting in the morning looking at the waves crashing on the coral reefs and listening to the sound of the waves made me really happy. What was amazing and memorable was that we saw a whale jumping out of the open sea just outside the reef. It did it four times as if it is trying to wave at us. This was a unique and most exciting part of our stay-a one lifetime event seeing a whale right from your doorstep-who would believe that.

the quality of the house wine was poor, especially the red wine. The gym was too small to manage the size of the resort. There was nothing else to dislike.

We three besties were celebrating my big-O birthday in Mauritius. We booked Tamassa for 6 days. Everything was great, the staff was exceptionally polite, prompt and accommodating. The restaurants were very nice and the chefs made cuisines especially for us when we ordered ahead of time. The Housekeeping in-charge would personally meet and ask if the cleaning and service were up to date for us. The privacy is very respected and we never had a problem with any of their facilities or amenities. Our vacation was lovely and memorable. I am looking forward to visit again with my family this time and for a longer period of stay. I would highly recommend this resort.

The check in procedure was a bit confusing and took quite a while - but that may have been because I arrived at peak time. Also, the food is exceptional in the main restaurant but the a la carte restaurant was not as good - although the view on the beach is much better. However, if you do not intend to have 2-3 plates of food minimum and are not on an all inclusive package it is quite hard to justify going to the non a la carte restaurant as it is very expensive for the buffet. Otherwise I had an excellent time - these are just a few points.

The spa staff especially were incredibly friendly and attentive, as well as a few other individuals I met. The facilities are spectacular - especially the free water sports and spa. The buffet breakfast is extensive and caters to every want. The pools are spotless, the beach is picturesque and the ocean (especially if you get a ocean front room as I had) is the most amazing thing to wake up to.

Beach is not the best swimming beach. Sand is rough and uncomfortable - this part of the coast is windy and rains often. Lots of free sea activities they say available but when you go to book it’s never available

We required special meal and in our case a vegan diet. The chef and staff went out of their way to prepare us the best choice of food. We were very pleased with the food and the warm reception. After being seated, the chef and person in charge of the kitchen would regularly come to see us and check if everything was fine. They really catered for our request. Otherwise, our stay was superb. The bed was comfy and big enough. They got us a crib for our little baby. The only thing that was missing was a lack of sea activities and the ones that were featured were often fully booked. Overall, we had a great time with the family. Thank you Tamassa! (Our stay was on the 9th to 11th of June 2023)

The furniture and room is a bit worn out. They could organize more activities in June, because the sunset is early and there’s not much to do after that besides watching tv.
