Very friendly staff, the food was delicious. Our room was very spacious and very clean. Special thanks go to Melana (the friendly lady who takes good care of the German speaking guests) Jean Edinho and all the other Chefs who helped us with our allergy restrictions Babita and the other lady for making the most delicious burgers Rama, Sunil, Samir and Jan for taking us around the island, telling us so many interesting things and stories about Mauritius. We really enjoyed our vacation at Tamassa. Thank you so much!!!

Nothing - everything was good!

The staff were very attentive and helpful wherever you were (restaurant, beach, bar etc.) They had a good eye for detail and made it a really pleasant experience to be at the hotel. The food options were good and we liked the 3.30 afternoon tea which helped with the gap between lunch and dinner (we have 2 young children) The burger truck is a nice touch and so is the ice cream parlour. There's access to refill your water on the beach which is handy. The kids loved the outdoor big games too. We didn't get chance to do the activities but appreciated the offer.

Check in process was overly complicated and better instructions about the site would have been helpful. A dirty cup and broken minibar door are not what I expect in a resort like this and a faster response time would have been a lit more impressive. That said the manager did apologise in person and offered some compensation which we were not expecting.

Beautiful grounds and a room with sea, garden and pool view. Good selection of food at the buffet and Playa restaurant was a nice alternative included in HB. Management team reacted very positively when a number of housekeeping issues had to be raised.

We would have liked more regular glass bottom boat excursions. Our towels were not in 4 star condition unfortunately. The check in process is unnecessarily long and drawn out. We had to pay for water at dinner but the rest of the day the same water was free (for half board accommodation)

The rooms are beautiful, the location is stunning and the staff went out of their way to make our stay perfect!! We didn't make time for all the activities on offer because we were enjoying our beach rooms, the pool and the ocean!! The Show restaurant buffets were absolutely delicious and the Food Truck burgers are a HOMERUN!!!!

The fragrance of the soap, hand wash and body lotion even the cold towel upon arrival. Presence of incense sticks in the restaurant. Juice provided for breakfast was not of good quality. Lack of variety of food

We were positivly surprised about the kindness of the hotel stuff in all areas. They really take care very good of their guests and that their guests feel comfortable. The resort is a little paradise in Bel Ombre with a nice peacful and relaxing atmospfere.

luggage delivery for the rooms were too long ( 2hrs to have my luggage in my room when I arrived) but reception team sort it out quickly when I came to claim Thank you for your speed reacts They are serious and professional But I can understand if the hotel was full and they had such a rush to delivery the luggages

the breakfast served as a buffet was very good ( nice quality, delicious and various ) same as the buffet at night, we really enjoyed the food in tamassa Housekeeping team were great and incredibly fast like superheroes, so lovely and cheerful Catering staff were brilliant and always look happy to serve us, especially the guy working behind the bread area every morning was so funny and cheerful we wish we know his name :) At reception, they were professional and courtesy, very polite and lovely All the staff are very great and made us feel welcome and happy during the stay We enjoyed the entertainment and even need more ( like the shows at night, beach volley; aquagym;) the game room and the fitness centre were well equipped and interesting A big thanks to the whole team and beyond

The couple of girls at the reception were RUDE except Mr.Aush who was polite !!! Had to complain to Sr.attendant Ms.Hemlata . Rest all the staff at the hotel are very polite & courteous and effeciant.No complaints at all.

Very Good location right on the beach,well managed hotel with wonderful infrastructure having most of the required facilities. Restaurants are serving good Veg.food.Chef Karan is exceptional.

The main problem with hotels like this is that for the fraction of the price we could stay in some bnb (and later we did) and have just as good of a time as we did here. There is nothing (besides the staff) that is exceptional. To me personally its just not worth it.

Paying to use Jaccuzi... while steam room is free...

The place was exactly like what we saw on internet no surprises. We were welcome and they made us feel special. we didn't know about credit card deposits but they allowed us to check In without it. we booked romantic dinner, and it was Fantastic, the following day we asked Chef to prepare Indian curry and they Excelled, all our needs were met and they even went extra mile to prepare Lampshank to compensate for some of our unhappiness, we felt so special, croissants during breakfast were the best.

Nowhere to buy small items: eg mixer drinks, beer etc. Cut my foot on a piece of coral walking along the beach, but nowhere to buy beach shoes!

After a long and tired flight, we arrived at hotel at 10am. The check in time is 2pm. We've been waited at the reception for 4 hours. However, after 2pm, no one came to check with us and update with us the status, and the check-in was delayed without a upfront notice. Not a good start but for the rest, its quite a standard vacation hotel. Nice buffet and beach, lots free activities. Hope they can improve the check-in experience for their customers. In addition, its located in the south, not too many shopping malls, and its far to the port louis. If you want to spend some time to explore the local city life, probably its not a good idea.

We did go during rainy season so there were a few mozzies around but the aircon in the room helped a lot with that.

The staff were amazing. Renu who kept our rooms tidy during our stay was wonderful and the sweetest person. Yuvna who caught up with us at dinner always made us feel so welcome and comfortable we did not want to leave. The food was exceptionally delicious at both restaurants. The rooms were comfortable and we loved that we could access everything about our stay via the TV.
