We were there just before a cyclone but still had a great relaxing time. There’s everything in there to prepare a quick meal or a nice restaurant nearby for the lazy days.

The wifi network was not strong. Guess another router with 4 antennas should be helpful to reach each corner of the house.

Location was prime right on the beach. The apartment was thoughtfully equipped. Assistance was a phone call away.

Great apartment with the most fabulous sea view from the balcony across the grass to the beach. Kitchen well equipped (just missing a dishwasher) and bed and sofas comfortable. The sea is lovely to swim in, very clear and warm and there's a useful tap to rinse off before coming back in to the apartment. Secure parking right outside the apartment. Washing machine very handy. Easy walk to restaurants and shops. Highlight was seeing a pig running along the beach!

The scenery - the sea together with the chain of mountains - is beautiful and relaxing. The bungalow is very well equiped and the hosts were kind and helpful.

Stayed upstairs in Watermelon despite specific request for downstairs apartment because 1 elderly guest had difficulty climbing stairs. Had difficulty contacting liaison helper when required. Facility need some maintainence. Sliding bathroom door fell off the roller onto our guest, and could not slide, let alone close. It meant that 6 guests staying in 3 bedrooms could only use 1 toilet and 1 ensuite bathroom. Fortunately, we managed to get emergency repair. Latch after repair still could not be used, and looks like the sliding door could do with major repair. Apartment was difficult to find and could do with clear signage.

Nice view with good electrical appliances, lightning and sockets. Fairly good location but the beach did not look that it was a good place to swim with the number of boats moored there. Narrow beach had some stray dogs, and didn't look clean with seaweed. Apartment and towels were clean though.

The check in process wasn't well explained and it was hard to locate the lock boxes. When booking, it's not clear which apartment you will get (upstairs or downstairs) and the facilities differ. We had the upstairs apartment which had great views, but a flight of steep stairs. Some facilities listed were missing- no washing machine and no BBQ. No daily maid service as advertised. Our downstairs neighbours on the first day we arrived were pretty loud and blasted Romanian folk music all afternoon, which wasn't the most relaxing! Generally speaking, we were disappointed with the apartment. The photos are very flattering- it's quite tatty and scruffy inside. The shower cublices were rusty and felt a bit unclean. Only one handwash was provided for the entire place and it was virtually empty. No hot water in the sinks. The bedrooms were very dark and poorly lit. No full length mirrors. The towels provided were a mix of old towels left over by previous guests presumably as they were all mis matched and pretty worn. Everything felt a bit shabby. The electrics kept tripping out and I had to keep resetting the main box, which isn't ideal when you're on holiday. We couldn't use the bedside lights in any of the rooms or use the fan because this would trip the electrics . We reported this to the host at 8am on the first morning (after a night of no electricity). We then received a call at 7.30pm as we were heading out to dinner asking us to wait in for the electrician. Ridiculous. All in all, it was a disappointing stay and I wouldn't return.

The view from Watermelon (the upstairs apartment) was absolutely beautiful, and I loved the location right on the beach. The balcony had a table and chairs plus two comfy deck chairs. The kitchen was well equipped with utensils and had plenty of plates and glasses. However, there were no basics like tea/coffee or handwash provided in the kitchen. The free water provided in the water cooler was a nice touch, but it didn't work if the electricity went out (which it did frequently during our stay) The apartment is only a 5 min walk from Green Island Beach Restaurant which was superb- definitely the best place in the village.
