Cold water during our stay. Renovated hotel but already broken accessories in the shower. Pool area too small. Beach very small.

Overall a good hotel but there are some key features they need to improve on. 1, The price on some items are way out there like their taxi booking, booking.com offer 25 euro and from them its 60 euro. we can understand maybe 20-30% topup but not 120%. its not about the amount but as matter of principal. also their private fishing tour cost 28000 their own money which around 2200 dirham or 600 dollars. the reason as per them is the fuel cost and i we understand the fuel cost is a bit high but it felt a bit to high for some hours of fishing. on the other hand they did have a 30min free shallow fishing for small fishes. 2, The Beds and sheets where an absolute disaster, for a hotel on this caliber we could not understand how they have not managed to buy some proper bed mattress and sheets, it was almost impossible to sleep, the bed mattress had totally lost its shape and were bend in the middle so we woke up multiple tiles during night and the sheets were of the cheapest quality and where making sound when we moved around.

1, the Pool was one of the best pools i have seen in any hotel, seating around the pool with bed in the water. 2, the personal were really nice and polite. 3, the hotel location is good and relaxing 4, they had some free water actives like snorkeling, shallow fishing, kayaking, etc Overall a good hotel but have space to improve.

Only one issue to report and that is no wardrobes in the rooms and iron and ironing board which made managing our clothes from 3 suitcases difficult and messy

We were moved to another room as our air conditioning didn’t work, which was much smaller and a real inconvenience to have to move in the late evening. The hotel should offer more complimentary water than 2 bottles a day.

The swimming pool and beach was gorgeous . The rooms were recently renovated and sleek but fresh and the service was excellent. A special shout out to Youvrej, Bryan, Ajay, Oodesh and Suresh who went above and beyond to make our stay extra special.

We did not have a mattress on the bed so we woke up with pain the back, but they gave us one after we complained.

Beautiful gardens, restaurant by the sea, good breakfast with plenty of choices. Good cleaning every morning, Aishta was so nice and did a very good job cleaning the room.

Limited number of sun beds around the pool and beach area. Please buy some more and house them in a shed until required. We also called reception a couple of times because our room was missing items and staff never came.

We came across 2 cockroaches. The kitchenette counters were not cleaned the one day. On the one occasion the bed sheets were not stretched and the duvet was just thrown over the sheets. The dinner menu was a little repetative.

Room was extremely neat. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was very good with a variety of options to choose from.

Didn't receive our pillow menu upon arrival, which was meant to come as standard with the privilege room. After the second night, the room was not cleaned properly, used mugs and rubbish left in the room, and not changed. Staff were a bit erratic at dinner, trying to take your plates away whilst you're still eating.

The ascetic of the hotel was beautiful. Great location, with sunset views and close to Njoy bar (around the corner). The food at the lazy lobster was great, and overall, the staff were pretty friendly.

the swimming pool was a bit small and overcrowded, but it didn't bother me as there are so many beaches around:)

I liked very much the individual houses in the colonial style: the main reason I selected this hotel, the welcoming drink after such a long trip, the garden which was taken care of daily, the decoration of our room, the various activities they had each evening, the boutique shop, the excellent massage that I enjoyed in the spa, that they gave me a room at the back and it was quite as I requested. It was so nice to lie in the evening in the chairs and listen to the sea!

If you like to sleep in, the breakfast served will be probably cold, which is pity for meals like pancakes, waffles or French toast. I came twice after 9am and get those cold. On the other hand, egg station always offer freshly made meals from eggs.

The Garden Room was great, very nice easy walk through the gardens towards the veranda, dining place and pool. Every day you get a cold bottle of water which was appreciated. We found dinners exquisite, especially all salads were well spiced, so good! Breakfast was nice if you came early :)

The headboard was quite damaged which didn't fit with the rest of the well maintained and modern facilities. If you are looking for a real sandy Mauritius beach that's not possible here you can walk along the shore and you can find it there.

Rishi in the restaurant was amazing and catered really well to my vegetarian needs he took me to all the stations and introduced me to the cook and said I could have anything prepared. Staff at check in were lovely and friendly. The rooms are set out really well with a separate room for luggage so it keeps a nice peaceful atmosphere in the bedroom. Plenty of sun loungers, the pool was well maintained. Balram was amazing too a great fun gentleman who really helped us a lot. The excursions offered within the cost of the stay were great fun such as the snorkel trip. Ultimately the surroundings but the staff were what really made this stay special.
