Struggled to get a perfect mocktail but there were plenty of juices and sodas options to choose from.

The property is exactly as is on the photos. The marine life is remarkable. The staff and the foods were also on point. We were upgraded to the misty rain which was an awesome experience to reawaken the skin senses. The airport transfers were effortless. Definitely recommend it.

I've read a few reviews with negative comments but quite honestly for us this resort was perfect and I just couldn't fault it

I almost don't know where to start! From the moment we arrived the attentive staff could not do enough. Everybody smiling and doing their best to ensure our stay was magical. And it was! The island is relatively small with no water bungalows but our beach bungalow was superbly located just a few feet from the crystal clear water and was cleaned regularly without us noticing. It was spotless and had everything we wanted. Food at the resort is first class and fresh ! Special mention to Pawan on the morning egg station who could present whatever way you wanted your eggs done with ease. The fruit station at breakfast was extensive and expertly dispatched by Sunil. Our evening cocktails were prepared and served with a smile from the lovely Hanan and Nishanth and meals served by Sujina our wonderful waitress. All the staff at Dhaka Ihuru are exceptional and made our experience one to remember. It is worth noting this is an intimate setting with only one restaurant and one bar with a sandy floor, however, the sister island is supported by a boat taxi every two hours if you wish to vary your surroundings. We totally loved our stay and can highly recommend the resort.

Shower pressure being low, inconsistent temprature. Dated closet furniture.

Easy transport, relaxed atmosphere, friendly service. Inclusive mini bar with snacks is so generous. Alcoholic drinks are strong if that's what matters to you. Our room was located where the beach is widest with no visible sandbag walls (though contructing one staeted on our departute day). Spa offers better prices when you visit.

2 small things : First, as told to the reception, I think the information about how to behave in water and especially while snorkling (with finns) should be made more clear, with a real speech on arrival. Somme people were clearly behaving wrong in water, having no idea of the space around them and having there own finns touching the coral without noticing it. I believe it's important that everyone takes part of the wildlife protection. Second, the "all inclusive package" should be clearly extended to the FULL stay (it's only a matter of a few hours for the hotel, it changes nothing for the resort as some clients arrive late or leave early, but the feeling would be clearly better for the customers)...too bad to give a petty feeling just before departure :-(

The island is tiny and this brings a clear VIP effect and a lot of quietness and privacy. It's a real bonus. Meals were really good, variety for everyone but not too much and it's a pleasant point. I personnally prefered the buffet dinner than the "à la carte" ones, that were a bit frustrating for us.

No daytime snacks available on all inclusive We asked for the mini bar to be refilled and were told no as it’s only refilled once a day (2 small bottles of wine, one red, one white - we don’t drink all the spirits/beer so just wanted an additional red wine) To me, if all inclusive, it should be included on request.

1. Island is close to Male (20 min speedboat). 2. Individual and separate buildings per villa, direct access to the private beach per villa. 3. All-inclusive bar & minibar absolutely proves that this resort is 5 stars. 4. Easy access to snorkeling (you can reach reef in 10 meters from the shore).

Amazing staff, accommodating all our requests, made the stay too easy with ; yrs and 1 yrs old kids Very nice food selection and amazing couples seafood grill dinner Special thanks to Aini who took care of our kids on the kids room, and To hannan from the bar who was the first to meet in the resort, Access to benyan tree came handy when the kids asked for pool swimming Lovely snorkeling spot with a-lot of water activities The staff opened up for breakfast early for us as we are departing earlier than hours 25 mins speed boat from airport is a plus adding flexibility on flight options for arrival and departure

It's not my first time in the Maldives, but this island is something incredible. At Dhawa Ihuru, you forget everything… just the ocean, palm trees, sand and silence. There is a playroom for children, where they do a lot of handicrafts. For complete relaxation, there is an incredible Spa. Very comfortable villas with their own beach. On this island, everything is thought out to the smallest detail. Thank you very much to all the staff for our incredible vacation.

There was nothing to dislike it was wonderful, but couple of improvements- the decor was not as nice as Banyan Tree, some simple improvements could transform the resort including a change of colour scheme. If Dhawa looked like Banyan it would be out of this world amazing. Either way we loved it a lot. Through no fault of Dhawa, sometimes plastic bottles wash up from neighbouring islands, so we did a daily litter pick which we were more than happy to do.

I loved the commitment to sustainability at this property, and the ease of access from Male. The reef was second to none, a couple of meters off the beach, so easy to access and so beautiful. It was fantastic to have the 2 islands (sister island Banyan tree) to travel between, we visited and dined at both, the Japanese restaurant at Banyan was incredible, but we preferred Dhawa for other food. Fabulous catering for vegetarians, and lovely staff making a personalised stay very special.

food is great. it is a small island, so it is pretty silent like you own the island. sea is great. even thou it was September weather was perfect. it felt to me that i was on a different planet.

Nothing! Everything was perfect.

Everything was amazing in the 2 nights we stayed here. From the staff who were wonderful and helpful. At some point, my boyfriend had left some clothes in Dhawa and the next day, this was delivered in Banyan Tree without us even knowing we left it behind. Also, we were picked up by Adam who was already there waiting for us at night. There were no issues at all and it was only 25 minutes boat ride. The facility was amazing too for all activities, we didn't feel the need to get out of the island as everything was already doable inside. Snorkeling was great and there were spots around the island already marked. Overall, it was a lovely chilled vibes around the island with lots of things to do. I also liked the idea of having rest areas, you can have coffees/juice at any time.

Nothing in particular. I do think a swimming pool would be a welcome addition, but they probably don't have any room to put one in.

Fantastic resort, close to Male airport, excellent restaurant and staff there, with delicious food, adequate kids club, beautiful clean rooms right on the beach front, and just meters from an amazing house reef that surrounds the island. The small gifts housekeeping staff gave the kids were very much appreciated. We were half board, and I do think that was the right choice for this particular resort.

Everything was awesome! I love nature and it was pleasure to see a lot of herons, parrots, other birds and pteropuses near the villa ant in the island in whole. It's very interesting to observe fishes from the pierce. And the snorkeling was amazing! Beach, staff and food were great.

Everything was great. Not too far from the airport and it was a beautiful island. Felt cosy and the staff were very friendly and attentive. Marine was great too.
