Could do with having more than one restaurant option for those on the All Inclusive and also more cocktail options (only about half are on the AI option)…..but I bet if it did have another AI restaurant option it would be classed as 5 star and much more expensive !!!

Just the right size resort for the Maldives - big enough to have the facilities but not so big that you may as well be in the Caribbean. And also the house reef is excellent for swimming and snorkelling

We did not have AI, would have appreciated one more restaurant on the island.

The rooms and the cleaning were top notch. The environment was amazing, we enjoyed the privacy feeling! The staff was very friendly, Kristine in Gallery was always welcoming us with a gentle smile and Marife in the grillrestaurant was really professional and serviceminded. To have a drink at Huvan when the sun went down was breathtaking!

The staff were amazing, especially Jenni at Huvan restaurant and the Executive Chef who made sure all of my meals met my many dietary restrictions. Everyone was wonderful, well organized, I was well take. care of. The snorkeling was absolutely amazing!!

Everything was great. We were upgraded from standard room to beach villa for free. And it was fantastic - the room, the location of the villa, everything. And the food (we had half board) was also great. Communication with the staff was also great - for generall information the whatsapp was used, what was also great.

-Actually, I do not feel the staff is very friendly. I had an accident on my first day, a palm branch fell on my ankle while I was sitting on the beach, on a bedsun and I limped for the next days. I was in my honeymoon so it was very annoying. I told the reception about the incidence but they did not say even sorry. I asked for an elastic banded and they gave me and also requested ice for my ankle. For two days the ankle was hurting me so I was really sad. I told the reception again and they told me that on the day of the accident there was wind and that is why the branch fell. Besides that it was totally wrong, in that morning it was sunny and chill, it was very rude to say that. When I told them I want to make a complain they offered to gave me late check-out for the next day… I do not feel that they handled this incident well, they were not at all empathic - the all inclusive meal&drinks plan do not include a variety of drinks. There are only a few alcohoolic drinks&cocktails and the usual soft drinks&caffee.

The resort is very close to Male City and the transfer is very easy. The rooms are very clean, they are cleaned several times per day The food is absolutely amazing, very tasty, good varities and for 4 days there were no repetitive foods. The room that we booked was ocupied so they gave us free upgrade. The room was great with great facilities. I totally recommand if you are in your honeymoon to book a Premium Beach Villa.

Loved everything - wifi doesn't work in all areas - but to be honest, it wasn't a big issue as wanted to get off social media etc.

The location of Bandos just 15 minutes away from the airport was great as it was a quick transfer from the airport. The island's greenery and cleverly set out different styles of accommodation ensured you felt like you were the only ones on the island. Sunbeds were places by the beach under vegetation for shade if you would like and the all inclusive package was good with range of different themes on different evenings/lunchtimes. We particularly enjoyed different fruits and various curries. We arrived late on our first evening and they catered us a meal at the Sea Breeze restaurant which was wonderful especially as we watched baby sharks swim under the pier. The ease from the basic beach villas to the beach was wonderful especially for early morning sunrise viewings (best place to view is from the Sea Breeze restaurant) and watching the sunset from Huvan from its pier was spectacular. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The snorkelling off the beach is easy and we managed to see lots of hawksbill turtles, octopus, sharks, cuttle fish and reef fish off the reef and drop off area. The use of life jackets for the week was free and we thoroughly enjoyed having the mini bar included in the all inclusive package (cold drinks, bottles of water, mars bars, juices and beers). The rooms in the basic beach villas were comfortable and cool. The pool is located in the middle and across from it was the club house with kiddies club, tennis courts, ac lounge and pool table, gym, sauna and steam room, table tennis table and table football. We used this on the last day when we checked out at 12 and weren't leaving until 7pm (using showers and changing facilities). There is a medical centre who dealt with heat stroke on last day with such efficiency and the dr and staff were wonderful. The evening feeding of sharks and rays off the Sea Breeze restaurant is wonderful to watch at 6pm overnight.

AMAZING We had the room on the sandy beach which was great playground for our toddler. We stayed for 12 nights and we will definitely come back. All the stuff are brilliant above expectations working relentlessly, always happy, smiling and willing to help. The atmosphere is very relaxing and life on tte island is great. We had one night tepaniyaki dinner in Umiyaki restaurant great value for money, superb food quality and taste and wonderful experience. Deka and Lepcha were great hosts and treated us really well. In the Gallery restaurant Uttar and Abu always made sure to take care of us, help us with the table and baby chair, always polite and helpful even if we stayed longer than the dinning times. Marvel also always engaging and welcoming. All stuff were great these people were exceptional. If i had a hotel i will hire them. We also got early check in and late check out which was really helpful considering our flights. There are a lot of kids/babies and was really helpful that our son was playing with them and socializing both at the kids club and after dinner entertainment at Sand Bar. Generally everything is so well thought off and organised, the resort iz running for 51 years and is obvious why. There also a lot of swimming spots around with different vibe and it's like you are changing places. Only one thing i don't understand why it's a 4 stars and not 5 stars has nothing missing.

We got a room that smelled of moisture, the toilet smelled of feces, it was really hard for me to get used to it. The room as a room is not bad, but the toilet has not been renovated in 20 years for sure and that is probably noticeable through what I said. For the 250e that it cost us for a night's stay, I expected to get a decent room. The mattress is also very uncomfortable, it has holes.

Activity chart is not very clear. There needs to be a clear area on the website where activities can be described for noivces. Even though they have some good restaurants, the food quality was sub-par.

Only one staff member was quite rude to us.. so we requested for a buggy because it was raining and we were informed it would take 15 to minutes. So when the buggy arrived a friend of mine was in the wash room and we requested for 2 minutes and the staff member got very irritated. Ok, I understand we made him wait and that was our fault. But what he said later was just rubbish.. he said why do you have to do makeup? I mean who says that? He was making offensive statements. This we did not expect.

The property is beautiful! Absolutely loved our stay. Just beautiful!!!! Me along with my 2 friends stayed at the beach villa and it was breathtaking! The food was amazing especially the salads and the grilled fish!

Unfortunately, most of the house reef is dead 😞 but there were a lot of sharks and fish! Also, the deluxe room was blocked by bushes, so there were no nice views directly to the sea...

Why Bandos? The dive center. They are the best!! Felt like a small family. Great vibes and very professional. Room - The duplex room was bright and full of light, had an amazing view, and was all about the small details. We loved it (we also stayed at the deluxe room, which was ok..) Food was great! Overall, great resort!!

I liked basically everything, The shampoo is poor quality and there's no conditioner or toothpaste, which seemed strange for a resort.

The facilities are beautiful and comfortable! There is a lot of privacy on the beaches and the food is good, the bars are great! All inclusive is a must! The reception staff are friendly and kind but I must give a special mention to Chef Taraka and the girls Kristine and Afifa who really raise the bar in the restaurant!

I was expecting more from the food ( Buffet restaurant ) fewer choices, transportation from and to the airport should be free (94 USD per person), given the proximity of the island to the capital Male (10min by speed boat), some of the staff especially the cart drivers and house keeping weren't as friendly.

Very nice place if you want to escape the city crowd and get a quite and relaxing vacation. Amazing beaches with coconut trees and vegetation, will definitely repeat the experience.

Our room was a little dated, especially the bathroom. It could do with a little paint and some colourful finishes. The brown tones in the room made it very dark. It would be nice if there was a package on offer with breakfast, dinner and drinks included. 'All inclusive' is too much food for us. Paying for drinks separately was super expensive. Too expensive for this type of resort. It is also a pity the spa treatments were so expensive, with lower rates we would have uses is far more. During the day the air traffic is quite busy and the executions on offer was not great. Just a recommendation, to dine the families with small children on one side of the restaurant and couples or families with older children on the other side of the restaurant. I found it quite annoying when parents let children play on their devices on full volume when seated next to you.

Bandos is the perfect family destination. It is only a short boat ride from the airport. The food was very good with a big variety on offer. Our room was on the most beautiful side of the island and the snorkelling was phenomenal. We particularly loved all the pretty private little beaches. The reef around Bandos is ideal for all ages. With experience or no experience the reef is perfect for all snorkelers. The spa is one of the best I have ever experienced and the mini massages offered for free during breakfast was great. The staff is very helpful and super friendly. The evening entertainment on offer was lovely. This is truly a beautiful island.
