Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomNice hosts. Good breakfast. We could also use the kitchen to make hot drinks or a simple meal. We could use snorkel equipment at no extra charge. The room was very spacious and comfortable. There is a card machine if you wish to pay for the accommodation with card. We were met at the port on our arrival and they also helped to carry our bags to the port on our departure. I believe the hosts have plans to renovate and expand their accommodation (more rooms) so I wish them all the best for the future.

PolandWe recommend Fulidhoo Ihaa Lodge! Moosa is very helpful and amazing person. Everything was organized perfectly. We had 2 options of breakfast to choose - maldivian or continental. Also the owner offered snorkel masks and fins. Also Moosa offered the snorkeling trip with sharks and turtles. It was the best experience! The guide took care about our safety and took amazing videos! Moosa is the best host and the island is worth to see! Thank you very much for the all!

RomaniaWe only stayed for 3 nights, but for sure it’s the kind of place to spend way more time. The lodge is just in front of the beach, everything it peaceful and quiet there. The host can cook a great meal if you ask him and overall he is extremely helpful. For us for example he helped sort-out a problem with our next location. All in all it’s thumbs up!

United StatesThe price is a bit high considering what you get and the facilities (but that’s also most places in Fulidhoo not just this lodge). Our sink handle was kind of broken so it made it quite difficult to turn it on and off and there weren’t any extra complementary stuff like soap that you would expect for $100 a night.
The staff are wonderful. Musa and his wife are gems and I enjoyed the breakfast! Liked that the location was not right by the bikini beach but still direct access to a beach.

The host Musa is a lovely guy and can take you out on boat excursions for snorkeling etc. Great place to chill out, relax and take in the Fulidhoo vibes. Would stay again!

IndiaIhaa is a quaint little lodge in Fulidhoo run by Musa and his wife. My experience right from check in to check out was really great. Musa went above and beyond to make sure we’re comfortable and having a great time. 100% recommended to anyone who plans to visit Fulidhoo

Everything! The owner is super friendly and nice and responsive whenever you need anything and he suggests many half day plans which were super fun esp fishing, snorkeling with nurse shark and dolphins! Breakfast was good and they offer continental and Maldivian style which both are good! Hot water is readily available and room is spacious! Air con was also very good. It's located not far from the main Fulidhoo pier. The whole island is super if you are looking for a rural area with amazing nature and people!

United KingdomMe and my child liked everything. It doesn't even occur to me to say something that I might not have liked. I will come again and to the same place.
I was pleasantly surprised when we were met near the pier and our things were taken to the place, even though we didn't request it in advance. The breakfast was excellent, consisting of a traditional Maldivian dish and various fruits (we are vegetarians). Throughout our stay, the host was accommodating. Me and my child liked everything.

BangladeshThe rooms could do with a bit of touch up as there was paint coming off. Bathroom really needs some work, it's clean, but showers weren't working properly. The hand shower/bidet of the toilet was practically useless as it is too short.
Location was great, right in front of the beach. Staff was very helpful and pleasant. It's a small island, so everything is within 2-3 mins walk. The breakfast was great too, offered both continental and Maldivian, both of which are great. Air conditioning is great and there's a place for you to dry your swimming clothes.

FranceMy window gave onto an alley, no natural light in the room. My room wasn’t cleaned in four days but maybe I should have asked myself.
The room was nice and comfortable, nice shower with hot water. Hotel right in front of the beach. Very good maldivian breakfast.

HungaryI would like to highlight Mosa's hospitality. We spent the last three days of our two-week vacation in Fulidhoo. thanks to Mosa's boat trips We saw most of the interesting marine life of Vavaoo Atoll. we swam with more than 30 nurse sharks, saw a school of dolphins, rarely seen whales swimming in pairs, turtles and beautiful coral gardens. on the last day, we even saw a shipwreck under the water. I highly recommend it to you if you want a meaningful program in the Maldives.

United KingdomThe rooms were great, decorated lovely and the little details like petals on the bed on arrival really made a massive difference. We also had a lovely breakfast every morning with the best juice! Moosa is the most helpful and friendliest host we have ever had, he really goes out of his way to make you comfortable. He is the main guy on the island for tours, so we had some great tips on when was best to go. He made our day out very special, we visited shark bay and turtle bay for a snorkel trip and he really made us at ease as we were very nervous and he also took some amazing videos of our trip which meant so much considering we lost our GoPro before we arrived. He was so helpful, any questions we had about the island, activities and local marine life was answered in so much detail. We stayed for 4 nights and on our last morning we had to get up early for our speedboat, we were woken to not only our breakfast but he told us to come to beach to see the dolphins! He made our time in the Maldives so special. I would recommend this hotel a million times over just so you can meet this amazing man and his lovely wife. Thank you so much for having us, hopefully we will see you again.

Musa is one man show for everything you need in fulidoo ihaa lodge. What makes this stay special is Musa's hospitality. Musa was kind enough to arrange all the activities like ship wreak, shark point, turtle watching, coral reef and many more. Its beach front and area is covered by trees so you get plenty of shade irrespective of the time of the day.

IndiaReally nothing I don’t like about it. It’s a perfect getaway from the busy crowds and just enjoy the nature.
One of the best stays in Maldives ever. This is a cozy property at the beach front, you can walk to the beach in 10 seconds, and Moosa is a very warm person that can arrange anything for you. This hotel feels more like a home than a hotel. I asked for Nutella in the breakfast and Moosa literally got a brand new Nutella jar next day, I think he’s a very genuine and sweet guy. Would love to visit again.
