Our stay at the Holiday Cottage took place in complete peace and maximum satisfaction. Ali and Hasan are excellent hosts and take care of you in a relaxed way. Very good breakfast and dinner. It was my wife's birthday and Ali made her a dedication cake at my request (I really didn't expect such perfection). Although the hotel is small, you will find all the more peace in it. It is close to the beach and several restaurants. Thank you for a great stay!

The rooms wer3 very spacious and clean , air con working perfectly 👌 The best thing was the hospitality, the owner and his right hand , Hassan were both amazing to say the least , I cannot praise them enough. They were super helpful with every little detail, very attentive, made.me feel.very comfortable, super friendly and just all around smiles and great hosts. I highly recommend this little gem of a place!!!

What a wonderful hotel with 6 or 7 cosy « cottage «  style with private terrace. The outdoor shower was definitely a plus, the beds were super comfortable and the air on well appreciated 😀Hassan made us a tasty breakfast every morning ( choice of continental, Maldivian or American ( pancakes ) )with freshly brewed coffee - and that, it is definitely a luxury in the Maldives 😀 The hotel is perfectly located, close to the beach, just a few steps away from diving center, fresh fruit juice café and a delicious local restaurant that grill fresh fish for lunch and dinner. The hotel also cook delicious fresh fish and if you go night fishing, they will grilled your catch on the BBQ!! The hotel provide brand new bicycles free of charge for the guests, free daily water and free tea and coffee 😀 the snorting is amazing, and the turtles super friendly 🐢I travelled with my 10 years old daughter and she absolutely agree with me: we loved the hotel, the staff and the island, we will be back!!

You must know that when you book a stay at Holiday Cottage, it's like spending your holiday with your favorite cousin. Ali - the host of the house treats you as his friend or family member. He helps with booking speedboat tickets, he will pick you up from the port, he was so kind that he did our laundry. Ali is extremely friendly, polite, nice, always helpful. The hotel has bicycles available for use. The hotel is a short walk to Bikini Beach and shops. Very well-kept area. Ali lit mosquito repellent incense sticks every evening. The rooms are very clean and fragrant. The TV didn't work but it didn't bother us. We had the full board option - breakfast was served, with several options to choose from. Lunch and dinner are also served, you can tell them your preferences or dietary restrictions, they will definitely take it into account. All meals were prepared by Hassan - it was delicious. We are very grateful and very pleased with our stay at Holiday Cottage. Thank you very much.

Holiday Cottage is really great place to stay at Thoddo - starting from support in arranging arrival from airport to hotel, which was really convienient for 1st time Maledives' visitors, then my welcoming meal, sharing thap of island with marked restaurants and shops, clean room with wifi and delicious breakfast, possibility of ordering lunch and dinner at hotel, using hotel's bikes, till very flexible despite of an early hour support in receiving breakfast snd arranging transfer to ferry. Thank You very much Mr Ali and Mr Hasan for your hospitality and support and we really recommend Holiday Cottage to everyone!!!!

The staff was great, Hasan helped us from the really first moment to the last one. The food was great, different every night (we had half board) and healthy. The beach is very near, they give you bikes to go around the island which is wonderful. Thanks to Ali that made us enjoy even more our stay!

Holiday Cottage is located near Sunset Beach, where you can go by bicycle, which is free of charge at the property. In addition to bicycles, the property offers free use of snorkelling equipment. The accommodation really tries hard to satisfy your every need. Whether it's breakfast, extra beach towels or something else. Thank you Aki and Hasan!

Everything was perfect, the room was beautiful and we liked the outdoor shower. They provided beach towels, snorkeling gear, free bicycles, great breakfast and coffee/tea all day. The garden is well kept and they cleaned the room daily. Ali is helpful and arranged transfers for us. Would definitely come back here!

Everything was fine

Our host, Ali, went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional. He was incredibly kind and always willing to help, providing us with valuable information about the area. One thing that truly stood out was Ali’s generosity. He lent us snorkels so we could explore the beautiful underwater world nearby. Additionally, he even offered bikes for rent, free of charge, allowing us to easily explore the island at our own pace. The food at the Holiday Cottage was simply delicious. We were treated to a variety of mouthwatering domestic dishes that satisfied our taste buds. What impressed me the most was that Ali personally inquired about our preferences and tailored the meals accordingly. This personalized touch made us feel truly valued and appreciated.

Based on the comments here we had very positive expectations, however Ali and Hassan managed to even exceed them. Everything you would read is true - great hospitality, delicious local food, cozy rooms, beautiful dining and outdoor spaces. Can't wait to be back, we would always choose Holiday Cottage and Thoddoo for our stay in the Maldives and definitely recommend it to anyone who would like to indulge in the Maldivian life - and you even have bikes on your disposal to explore it.

Nothing to complain

We've been staying in 3 places on Maldives and I would like to say that this one is the best. First of all I would like to mention the room itself. It is so cozy and beautiful. The true vibes of holidays on a beatiful island. Really liked the shower :) Food. Food is a little piece of art here. Guys were suprising us every evening. Furthemore you may choose your breakfast and this is really nice. The team. The team is great. They were doing there best to make us feel comfortable and they did it perfectly good. In addition I should tell that the location is great with a lot of caffes around and some shops. Very close to the beach and you may take a bike to have a ride around the island. It seems that we came here as a guests and we are leaving this island as a good friends. Looking forward to come back again.

The only thing that could be better was breakfast. There was not much to choose from and usually, when we came after 9 o'clock there were just a few bits to have. Not a major issue of course but could be better next time.

We were actually accommodated in Holiday Cottage 2 and it's a brand-new hotel. The room was big and clean and the bathroom was really nice. Everything was brand new. Ali and his brother are really lovely. They always helped us and give good recommendations. They made us feel at home and everyone else who worked there as well. The guest house is well located and it's only 10 minutes from a beautiful beach. We absolutely loved our stay and definitely recommend this place! So thank you so much for everything!
