Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomThe breakfast was decent, though it could benefit from a greater variety of vegetarian options.
I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The staff is both friendly and accommodating. It's located right across from a stunning local beach with turquoise waters. The hotel offers complimentary water bottles and water. It's also the only spot on the island where you can enjoy a proper espresso or cappuccino. The view from the top terrace is breathtaking. The rooms are spacious and feature modern amenities. There's an excellent dive center on-site, offering remarkable snorkeling, as well as trips to sandbanks and uninhabited islands. They provide towels, rent out snorkeling gear, and offer loungers for the bikini beach, which is just a five-minute walk away.

GermanyIt's hard to find anything at fault, our stay in general was phenomenal. If we had to pick one detail that felt a little less perfect though, it would be the buffet: On some days there was only buffet available due to higher number of guests present (No a la carte menu orders on those days). On the "buffet days" food was also good, but less so than when compared to the days where we could order from the menu. The buffet was also a bit pricey for what it was. To be clear - we very much recommend the hotel restaurant for a la carte menu ordering, that was excellent in every regard and absolutely at a fair price. On buffet days however, it could be an option to explore other restaurants on the island e.g. like Cafe Orzo.
Food from the menu "a la carte" was excellent. Easily best kitchen on the island. The rooms were very clean, bathroom facilities excellent. View from balcony very nice. Beds were very comfortable. There was always fresh drinking water available and everybody gets a complimentary metal bottle to refill, and keep forever even after leaving. That's a really nice touch. Staff was really nice and friendly, always going out of their way to be as helpful as possible, and easy going; the hotel feels like a family business (which I believe it is). WIFI was free and reception was sufficiently strong in the room. Kayaks are available for free for the guests to paddle around the lagoon. There is also a big trampoline in the water for the kids.

SingaporeThe breakfast was quite basic and left much to desire. This was the only weak point of our stay.
The staff was very friendly and attentive to our needs. We loved the room with sea view and the cleaning was spot-on. We had most lunches and dinners at the hotel restaurant, the food was in general very good (except for one evening when it was busier than usual) and it was probably the most professionally run and well-maintained restaurant on the island that we have seen. We also went on a couple of snorkelling excursions with them and each time was like a private tour and a great experience. The beach was breathtakingly picturesque with powder-like white sand and a mixture of emeral green-azure blue pristine water. They set up beach beds and an umbrella every time we went there, which was a service not provided by many facilities from what we could tell, as there were very few others. The island itself is such a natural beauty, cozy and peaceful.

The staff is really warm, welcoming and friendly. The room was exceptionally clean. The property is located facing the beautiful beach, you will be able to watch stingrays and sharks while having your breakfast. The food was fresh and delicious every time. After I booked the stay, the communication was perfect about how to reach the property and how to reach back to Male. Abhlo and Linda guided us well for our excursions concerning the weather, so that we could have the best possible experience. The excursions were priced well and there was usually just the two of us or a group of 4, so we had a great time. The diving and snorkelling was also managed very well by them. They also gave us cute bottles as souvenirs! We ended up extending our stay by 2 more nights here and loved being on this beautiful island. We saw many fish snorkelling around the island too.

RomaniaDo not miss this place!! The best rooms and restaurant on the island! We came here in October. The weather was beautiful, sometimes cloudy, few rains. The hosts are simply amazing and always helpful. We haven't tried another restaurant while here because the food is absolutely delicious. Must try their baked whole fish, fish curry, maldivian soup and all the menu in fact. The beach is right next to it. They provide water, tea, coffee for free while you're a guest here. Clean, comfy, truly relaxing, non-touristy, friendly. The water has wonderful colors, the sand is thin, there are some animals around and not far you can see sharks and sting-rays during night time.

United KingdomA little bit pricey compared with other experiences we had in other local islands.
We had an outstanding welcome by the managers and we received an exceptional transfer support for our arrival and departure. Comfortable accommodation, spotless. It's definitely worthy to have the room with beach views.

PolandBreakfast was super boring! This needs to be changed as damages the whole picture of this place. Everyday breakfast was the same: cold cut omelet, some sausages, toasts, beans and sweet bread and some fruits. I did not like the fact that instant coffee was for free (as usual in the hotels) and cups coffee was already charged (!!!) The price for the hotel is not low and such thing like a good coffee should be included. Negative point for people who are coming there to relax is that hotel is just right next to the mosque and they started from 5 am. It was disturbing a lot as it’s very loud.
Amazing place to stay. A bit expensive however it’s very clean and comfortable. Personnel was very helpful. Room was clean and it had amazing view on the ocean.

United StatesI'm an experienced traveler, and Luau Beach Inn (Ablo, Julia, Amira and others) provided some of the best customer service I've ever received. They contacted me immediately via WhatsApp upon booking and answered my questions/requests, helping to set up our boat transfer, snorkel excursion, and even pre-ordering lunch for us so we could eat as soon as we arrived (even after the official lunch window had closed). Throughout the stay they were cordial and helpful, going above and beyond to make our honeymoon special. The food at the restaurant was also exceptional - we had two meals at the nearby 5-star-rated cafe and honestly they weren't as good as the two meals we got at Luau Beach Inn (our last night the chefs even went off menu so we could try some Sri Lankan dishes). Plus, the beds were super comfy and the location on the island was good. I would stay here again (for longer next time!) and can heartily recommend it to all.

GermanyMaldives are not just about resorts, are about places like this one. The property is well taken care of and is beautiful, clean and comfortable. The staff is always getting out of their way to make your experience memorable. Extremely helpful! They booked the ferry round trip for us and always kept us informed about everything. The property offers several activities (snorkeling, excursions, diving, kayak rental, etc) and it has their own staff to help you. The island is really small but you really can’t get bored - there is always something that you can do. The property has a restaurant on site located in the top floor. We had breakfast, lunch and dinner there and the food was delicious, the menu had variety and the views were incredible. All the staff there were extremely friendly and welcoming. Thanks everybody at Luau Beach Inn for the amazing conversations and for everything during our stay in Fulidhoo.

Amazing staff, especially Linda who is so helpful and available for any request. All staff are very attentive. Excellently presented fruit platter with iced tea for breakfast. United KingdomThere is nothing not to like.
The location of Luau Beach Inn is without doubt the best you are going to get on Fulidhoo. It occupies a really nice bluff of sand looking out onto the bluest sea you’ll ever see. In front of the hotel they have hammocks and chairs set amongst trees that provide great shade from the intense sun. It’s a really nice spot to hang out. Unlike other hotels on Fulidhoo there are lots of opportunities to engage in water sports if you stay here. Hotel guests can enjoy kayaks, the jet ski, paddle boards, a catamaran and something similar to a banana boat. There’s also a couple of other boats they use for excursions and fishing trips. They provide a number of excursions that they are always happy to adapt to meet your specific needs. Everything’s competitively priced, great fun and the staff have lots of experience and knowledge so you always feel you are in safe hands. We stayed on the 2nd floor of the hotel in a large, really light and airy room with a large balcony overlooking the sea. It had everything we needed in it to have a relaxing time. It was cleaned or made up as little or as often as we wanted. The hotel is really clean throughout and blends nicely with its local surroundings. The third floor is home to the roof top restaurant. The views from here were even better than from our room. We ate in the restaurant three times a day and enjoyed everything we ate. All the guys running the kitchen and restaurant are Sri Lankan, they are all really nice and the quality of the food they serve is amazing. Everyone working in Luau Beach is really friendly and warm hearted, from the family that own it, through to the kitchen and cleaning staff. They all go out of their way to make sure you have the holiday that suits your needs and they treat you like a member of the Luau extended ‘family’. Collectively they provide the perfect balance between being welcoming and engaging on the one hand and respecting your privacy on the other.

The room has a magnificent sea view; it contains many facilities that we loved, like the sound system and lighting. Also, the honeymoon decoration was amazing. 😍 They have a restaurant at the roof with sea view; we felt like we were in heaven; we loved the Maldivian breakfast and Luau special ice tea so much 😍. Our honeymoon went smoothly and joyful Alhamdullelah. Thanks for all of you, and thanks for the lovely stanlisteel bottels gift. until we meet again soon, Inshallah ❤
