We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesI didn’t like the non-commitment of the staff, they speak bad English and don’t understand English at all. And it's their fault. We missed the ferry. We were not provided with the buggy that were due in the morning and had to sail to another island at a price significantly higher than we had originally planned.

They helped us with suitcase and explained us everything we needed to know, how to get to the beach, they gave us bikes and cooked for us exactly what we needed. The location is very calm and close to the beach. They took us snorkeling for free.

Ukraine1. Air conditioning was making a loud noise as though the airplane taking off. It is also located right in front of one side of the bed. 2. Construction from both sides of the guest house. 3. Small breakfast so I had to go and get another breakfast in the local restaurant. Overall this was our 3rd guest house on this island. I recommend finding a different place if the price is the same.

Russia-there was no everyday clean in the room -no drinking water in comparison with other hotels where I was supplied with water every day. -first I was given the room with their restaurant nearby but for me it was noisy and I could smell an unpleasnt smell of cigarettes in the corridor from this restaurant. So they changed a room for another one, again noisy as in the morning at 7 o'clock there were constructions works nearby. -note that in Thoddo island garbage is burnt, so in the evening one can smell some of it. -there were bicycles in the yard, I asked to take one. But was told that they didn't have a working one.
-not far from the road going to the beach -shower is outside and nearby with the blossoming tree -there is a coral nearby, so you can go snorkeling

Israelthe owner did not allow to pay for the room in MVR (local currency). and charges extra 4% for credit card. since banks would not change to USD you are forced to pay extra if you didn't bring enough USD in cash. the room is equipped with kettle but no sugar or tea. has TV but does not receive any channels, has soap bottles without marking so cant figure out which one is shampoo. most of the tourists are from Russia - so its hard to make friends when most do not speak english no pickup from the harbour or welcome drink. the room was not cleaned during my stay (4 nights). noise from restaurant and room next door. bad wifi. no one at the reception for days. room did not include breakfast. no beach towel. the beach is 10min walk - no bike for the guests. gap under the door and in the bathroom allow insects to come in.
nice beach, turtles can be seen at the bikini beach. large shallow lagoon good for swimming. safe in the room, refrigerator for fruits, and tap for purified water.

The girl who work there. She was super nice and take care of us. The host also was nice. We really liked that the rooms has private outside Area with the shower and table. For Big plus i would say bicykles avalible which was helpfull with going thru puddle in the village
