Exceptional value for money - it was so beautiful that words fail to describe the experience that we had. The staff were incredible, very friendly, genuine people. We would recommend OBLU at Helengeli to anyone who wants to visit the Maldives! Every detail was thoughtful - we even had water bottles for the 50min trip via speedboat to/from the island. PCRs were provided free of cost. Food and drink was truly unlimited, and there was no shortage of things to do, or places to relax!

Wonderful romantic place for honeymoon or holiday. Very beautiful territory and reef, tasty food and cocktails, room with panoramic windows. Better take coral shoes with you. Perfect desserts and fruits in the restaurant. Free PCR test and speedboat included in price. Many places for photos on the island. Everything you can need is already in the room including umbrellas and life jackets for snorkelling

I wasnt too pleased about the location delux beach villa that we were allocated but the room itself was lovely

I loved the resort so much, it has my highest recommendations. I loved that everything was included even the Covid test. The service and the food was definitely the highlight of my stay. Being a person who work in hospitality I am very focused on these 2 things and I can honestly say my expectations were exceeded. Even before the arriving I received amazing service from the reception and the reservation manager Kasun :)

The boat/shuttle from the airport was not on par with this level of resort... and the boat that took us back was even worse. 0/10 Comfort.

Amazing place to get away from the world. The snorkelling was beautiful and easily accessible right off the shore. All the staff were absolutely wonderful, friendly and accomodating. The water villa was truly stunning and something out of a movie. The food was to die for... Seriously the buffet was 11/10 every meal. Everyone worked so hard to take good care of us and we would love to go back one day. That being said: If youre lucky enough to go, bring cash to tip the staff, these guys truly deserve more.

I loved everything my only suggestion to improve on would be the evening entertainment, the DJ is great and the were a few nights where me and my husband would have loved to dance but there isn’t an area that’s conducive to dancing the DJ is in a part of the bar where there’s comfy chairs and people are more quite there. I suggest that if the DJ was on the beach near the just grill restaurant or even on that building over the water that isn’t used at the moment near just grill, with some fairy lights I’m sure many guests would love to go there and dance.

delux beach villa - in my opinion the best option, it faces the sunset and is so gorgeous with views from your bed of the beach and Indian Ocean. really comfy huge bed. spacious room. I loved the outside terrace with couch. our deckchairs on the beach we’re amazing and no rocks on this part of the beach. all inclusive meals - spice restaurant is amazing we ate mostly outside on the deck and I have to say firstly that the staff really made the experience excellent. ALL STAFF were amazing but I remember especially a waiter called Naail who was incredible he works so hard and nothing was too much trouble. The chef Rajith was so friendly and always asking if there was any food we missed or anything else we’d like to see at the buffet. the two ladies at the entrance of Spice are so kind and welcoming. now the food was great for me, I loved the options of having fresh fish or chicken grilled for me the way I want, there’s a huge selection of salads, curry, pasta, pizza, fish dishes. my favourite was the tuna and reef fish sashimi - incredible! breakfast choices were also great fresh fruit the usual European choices, curry’s and my favourite was the chef making an omelette or eggs the way you want- perfect! drinks - the all inclusive options are great PROSECCO!!!! I had so much of it and it was wonderful as well as the cocktails. you can pay to have premium drinks but there’s no need really. The reef - BEAUTIFUL! each side of the island has a reef you literally walk from your front door to the beach and your swimming on the reef!!! They provide free snorkelling equipment including a life jacket which is great quality so no need to bring your own. Incredible experience reef sharks swam past us twice and just once we were right next to a large adult hawksbill turtle!!! truely amazing!!! I don’t dive but my husband paid extra for a half day diving at a reef about an hour way he said it was amazing too. The fish in the reef are incredible, Parot fish was my fave.

Terrace facilities looked outdated and a bit dangerous: 1) pool ladder was wobbly (one of 2 fastenings was broken) 2) the wall separating 2 villas' terraces - it jumped badly right-left during the storm - donno how it didn't fall 3) ladder down to the beach from the terrace was quite old

Great value/experience for the money paid. Nice reef for snorkeling (lots of fish, sharks * recommend to go snorkeling behind the reception or at the sunshine jetty), vivid island fauna (crabs, lizards, flying foxes, herons), friendly staff, good meals choice. Clean room (cleaning every day), wonderful bathroom and the pool on the terrace. Complimentary supper last evening at the Just Grill restaurant was a really great ending of the vacation. Thank you.

I had booked the all inclusive with deluxe villa for 3 nights and easily it was one of the best experiences. We were welcomed by courteous staff who were amazing and friendly. Checkin was smooth with the OBLU app and the food during my stay was delicious. Drinks at the bar were pretty good and there are few drinks which are included in the all inclusive plan. Snorkeling equipments are available with them free of charge and certain accessories for rent. Snorkeling experience was the best as I was able to see sharks, sting rays and few other types of fishes around the property. There are live corals as well but at the edge of the reef and need to be cautious as there is strong current of water nearby. Over all it was lovely. Speedboat transfers are also included and it takes 50 minutes from Male

Only one thing which is the waiting time transfer from the airport to the resort which was about 2 hours since our approach to the resort cabin in the airport.

The island is relatively small but has a beautiful reef that is close to the beach. It is an excellent choice for snorkeling. The food was excellent and the all-inclusive plan was great. The staff is cheerful and amazing including Safa, Minha, Nazih, and chouch.

One of the best resort I have visited till now. The receptionists were really helpful and friendly especially Chaouch. Great staff who knew how to serve the customer. The room was well equipped and the service was excellent. From the Villa we could view the sea and feel the cool breeze. The location of our room was absolutely perfect. . Private beach, very clean and clear water, a very good place to relax and chill. The scenery was beautiful and it was a relieve to walk in such a quiet and peaceful environment. I must say the location of the resort is at best place. Excellent hospitality by the bar guys, Zhana, Amit, Shaheen, Atheeg, Asanka and the best Lasith. Overall very very good place to relax. Everyone do make your stay more enjoyable. I’m lost for words to express more about the staff and services

The welcome was outstanding with there local drums. Arrival was well organized free spa free private dinner and a free fishing trip. The island is fill with luscious greenery and natural surroundings. You don't need to walk with a flip flop or shoe the walk path is all white sand barefoot island style. The island is all inclusive with free drinks and food and a wide range of choices. The Spa was so relaxing and rejuvenate you from jet lag. The transfer was abit bumpy using a speed boat transfer 50mins from the airport to the island but it was also free Transfers. We had a wonderful time at OBLU and the staff was amazing. I will recommend this resort to all.

The water villas are old, i have been to other Oblu (Oblu Select) Water villas in Select are new and give much better experience.
