United StatesThe only minor complaint is that there were a strong scent of sewage in our bathroom in the morning-we believe it came from outside. It didn't bother us much, as we spent our time on the beach. Also remember to apply mosquito repellent before your meals in the dining area. The only "bad" thing about such a beautiful first experience in the Maldives, is that all the other local island paled in comparison to Fulidhoo. They simply could not mach the natural beauty and the friendliness of the people. We couldn't really appreciate the main tourist islands (Gulhi & Maafushi), because of their (is it allowed to say loud and obnoxious?) tourists. Fulidhoo showed us their culture in such an authentic way that the other islands were not able to.
We came from a rather bad experience in Kuala Lumpur, so this hotel was such a breath of air. During our 5 week trip, we stayed at 13 different hotels, from affordable hostels to luxurious 5-star resorts and everything in between! Rushkokaa Beach Villa gave us the best customer service of all our stays. What made our stay so memorable, apart from the obvious beauty of the island and it's people, was the warm hospitality, the amazing food we were served by chef Anu, and the great customer service from the most service-minded worker Sufiyan- They felt like family at the end of our 4 night stay and we were sad to leave! It would not be the same without them. They taught us about the culture and they left a lasting impression on us- we made memories and also friends. The hotel is RIGHT ON bikini beach! Food: Where do I even start? For breakfast, they offer us two options: Local and continental. We opted for the local breakfast, which my friend liked so much she kept chasing the same experience on all other hotels, however no other chefs could even compare to the way Anu cooked it! My favorite part was that there were a new dinner menu every day. We got two options, and me and my friend would order one option each; that way we got to taste 8 different dishes- all so good!! You tell the chef the day ahead if you'd like dinner and at what time, so he can shop for groceries. It made it such a personalized experience. I told him my favorite food, and there were at least 3 dinner options with that ingredient. On our last night, they prepared a beautiful dinner on the beach under the stars. Unforgettable! In comparison the other hotels in Fulidhoo had MEEH americanized food. If I could re-do my trip to the Maldives, I would cancel my stay in Gulhi altogether, and stay at Rushkokaa longer. I can not emphasize enough how the two staff Anu and Sufiyan and the food made the stay as great as it was. You can not go wrong with booking your stay at Rushkokaa Beach Villa.

FranceSomeone mentioned in another comment that the seal in the shower needs to get done again which I confirm as the water leaks out of the shower BUT it's so hot it dries very quickly.
The staff is always eager and available to help, they are all very kind and definitely a highlight of the stay. The villa is small and beautiful and makes you feel like you're at home (only way prettier and with much more sun). Having your meals in the dining room which is like a terrace (covered but opened) and which has ceiling fans is very enjoyable. The villa is next to a football pitch where locals played at times and I loved the contrast on how quiet VS lively the place could be. (FYI: nothing to do with the villa itself but the island seems to be expending so the calm and quiet of the place that it is know to be might change a bit, also because of new buildings being constructed at the moment you might hear building work at times.) I really liked that I could experience the local cuisine which I found very tasty. We took all inclusive and did not regret it, there were always 2 choices available for breakfast/lunch/dinner and the meals were quite diversified except for the breakfast which was the same. The Chef also did cater for all of our demands: I asked for fruits in the morning instead of toast/bread, he adjusted the spice level when chili was in a dish, and had rice/fries/salad as an option as I am gluten free which made it easier for me. I also saw another kind of breakfast when a family with kids arrived which means they do go out of their way to make everyone happy, don't hesitate to ask. You can go on snorkeling adventures with the Manager of the villa which made it so convenient to organise. We loved every one of these outings and he even shared his beautiful footages of the snorkeling with us which was kind of him and a nice memory to have. Ps: You can ask for more hangers to reception if you need, maybe a chair would be nice in the room to use as a "clothes chair" so it doesn't get too messy.

Very nice beach villa, like 2 steps from the bikini beach, easy to find/reach from the jetty. Room small, but cozy. Cleaning was made every day, the options for the breakfast, lunch and dinner can be found at the villa, food tasty. Personal very polite and helpful. In the future for sure will book again.

Such a lovely designed resort and nice owner and staffs. The resort is located in front of the nice and clean beach (the bikini beach which we could wear bikini. Other beaches are not allowed. Comfy lobby atmosphere.

What an amazing place and experience! The room is always super clean and the hotel is so beautiful, with white walls and blue doors! The common areas are also very clean and well organize. Rafhan and the staff were always very kind, the breakfast and food is very good! It’s located in the best place of the island, with the beach best view in our opinion! We hardly recommend and are already dreaming of coming back!

I cannot recommend Rushkokaa highly enough. I was warmly greeted and welcomed at the pier upon my boat’s arrival at Fulidhoo, with a refreshing freshly made fruit juice on arrival at the hotel. The staff and manager are wonderfully welcoming and friendly, and really did make my stay. Breakfast and dinners were lovely, I particularly enjoyed the tuna curry. Breakfast was always plentiful, as were hot drinks which you could help yourself to throughout the day. My room was lovely and spacious, so comfortable and clean and I was supplied with water in my room every day. The standard of the room was excellent. The hotel is right on the beach front and the private beach in front of the hotel is truly the best section of beach on the whole of Fulidhoo. There are plenty of sunloungers on this beach for guests to use. Separate beach towels are also provided in your room which I thought was great. I did a couple of snorkelling excursions through Rushkokaa and could not recommend these highly enough - they were the highlight of my stay. Rafhan, the hotel manager made these such a personalised experience and took some amazing underwater footage which are amazing keepsakes of these experiences. Rushkokaa really go above and beyond to ensure guests have the most incredible stay and to get such incredible service in the delights of a gorgeous guest house was amazing. I particularly loved the chair swings outside the hotel which are great to relax in whilst in the sun or listening to the waves in the evening. The hotel’s currency is dollars, the plug outlets are UK type and Rafhan will happily book your speedboats for you to and from Male airport. I thoroughly enjoyed staying at Rushkokaa and truly cannot recommend this place enough. Thanks again Rafhan & team!

United Arab EmiratesThe food was delicious (taste the Maldivian breakfast), but could have more options. I just missed some amenities like shampoo and soap. But the accommodation is amazing and I would return without thinking twice.
The Hotel opened in February 2023, so everything is brand new! All the details are beautiful, besides being very comfortable. The beach is right in front and for not having another hotel nearby is almost private, were days of calm and tranquility, just what I was looking for. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

AustriaIt is important to know for guests they want to sleep longer in the morning: The lokal prayer of the mosque wakes you up 5am every morning via the mosque-speakers and prays for 20min, daily, but this happens on every lokal island at the Maldives……
Extraordinary nice location, very calm, very nice support of Rafhan & Sufian. Also important to know is that the beach villa was opened at February 2023 so the rooms are brandnew and very clean, housekeeping was provided two times a day, the very tasteful lunch was served on the beach(!). All in one I would recommend Rushkokaa Beach Villa anytime, the value for money is one of the best on Fulidhoo. Thanks to Rafhan & Sufian!
