The Mosque is located very close to the hotel and the early morning call to prayer was impossible to miss. The staff were quite honest and warned us about the situation from the onset. Overall it wasn't too much of a hassle.

Bearing in mind this is a no-frills hotel the transport arrangements between the hotel and the airport were excellently managed. Better still, all the hotel staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. We also found the food at the hotel's "Cloud" restaurant surprisingly tasty.

The shower pressure was terrible. And I've stayed outside mosques before, the call to prayer was not a problem. But here the room was not air tight, there were gaps in the doors to the outside, so it was just like being right outside. Which was very loud. It also wasn't just the usual 5 times a day, it was all the time.

The restaurant was fantastic. The room was a good size.

The rooms are not particularly quiet. The room adjoining ours had a noisy toddler who we could hear through the walls most of the night.

We were upgraded to an executive suite, as we were only staying one night. The hotel went out of their way to arrange an early transfer for us, and a take-away breakfast.

Proximity to the mosque can cause early wake up, though we weren’t particularly disturbed.

Very conveniently situated for airport and excellent free return transfers included. Also convenient for walking to most of the city sights. Comfortable room, attractive shower room. Staff very welcoming. Rooftop restaurant offered an excellent well priced meal.

There was quite the noise from the room next door. Probably because our room had a connection door and the isolation was therefore not that great. Next time I would pay attention to that and not choose a room with a connection door.

Staff is very friendly and attentive. The hotel is very modern and our suite had a very nice shower (like a spa with stones). We even got a late check out unti the afternoon without any additional costs and we really appreciated it. There is also a restaurant on the top floors and it was really nice. The food is good, the waiters are very friendly and the view from the top is amazing. We would definitely pick this hotel again.

The only complaint I had was the noise. And it was VERY noisy. The hotel is tall and the floors only accommodate five rooms each. They all open out into the stairwell, which is used 24/7. And there is very little space on the floor for the housekeeping carts, which were parked outside of our room. There was so little space between the cart and our door that we had to move the cart to exit our room. The room walls were thin and we could hear EVERYTHING that was going on, not only in the hallway but also in the surrounding rooms. The hotel is also nestled between two Mosques, and the calls to prayer are not synchronized so you essentially hear 10 of them instead of 5. I will say that I slept with earplugs and it was fine. But it was very hard to relax up until that point because of the noise.

I read a lot of mixed reviews about this property and so I was unsure of what to expect. But I was overwhelmingly pleased with our stay. The room was plenty big and clean. The a/c was powerful. Free water was available. The bathroom was actually lovely and amenities such as soap, shampoo, and a vanity kit were available. Check-in and check-out were easy and the airport shuttle was seamless. All in all, it was truly a lovely stay. We transferred to this hotel from one of the fancy, overwater villa resorts on an island nearby. That being said, the best meal I ate on our entire trip was at the Cloud Restaurant! Service was lovely, and it was clear that each meal was being cooked to order. No alcohol, but the food was excellent! Breakfast the next morning was basic, but you could order eggs and the coffee was strong. The staff was friendly and attentive.
