Villa over water is a fine experience. To name them: Southern Star restaurant: Rakesh, Santosh, Samy, Tia, Vijay, Milinda, Siviya, and Zakir Reception team: Hasna, Husain, Sana, Khushbu, Devi and Pratima Souvenier shop: Shareef(if I recall the name right...he collects currencies), Azeem, Ibraheem Coffee shop: Prem Shahin who ferried us Kumar the life guard Good activities.

Sloveniafor us everything’s was wonderful and nearly perfect but for people who prefer the pool, the main pool is a little old and a little rusty but the beach villa private pool is new and amazing. and also if you prefer less people the main restaurant is quite full you can have intimate dining experience in other restaurants on the island (extra charge for all inclusive).
we were staying at beach house with pool and had all inclusive, beach house was amazing would recommend to everybody going there, beaches are super nice

Honestly exceeded our expectations. First of all island itself is very very pretty, blue water pristine white sandy beaches. Picture perfect. You can sense the island is well managed, cleaned and taken care of. Our beach villa with pool (No 254) was absolute stunning, clean villa, comfy bed, huge ass TV for late night movie sessions. My favorite part was outdoors bathroom with backyard shower. Room service is done 2 times a day and was done so professionally, shout out to Mr Ishrafeel for keeping it extremely tidy whenever we came back. All that aside what really sets apart this resort and all the hotels I have been in my entire life, are the staff. Each one of them are so incredibly sweet and caring. Our host Miss Gehani was amazing, she looked after us at every step of our stay, checking up on us, making our stay so so wonderful. I wanna give a special shout out to the chefs as well at the buffet for being super friendly and making us amazing grilled dishes and amazing breakfast - Mr Ibrahim, Mr Nihar, Mr Kalam, Mr Majeed. Oh and of course the 2 waiters who served us were awesome as well Mr Krishna, Mr Ramesh and Mr Alim (at the beach bar) thank you so much for being amazing servers. Mr Alim as well for serving us amazing coconut water. While on the topic of food, I'd say the head chefs did quite a good job on creating a wonderful menu for buffer dinner and breakfast. Each day something different and tasty. Finally I wanna shout out to the water sports team and parasaling team for assisting us and making us feel safe. And finally shout out to our bell boy Mr Kawser2 for giving us a tour of the island. Overall best 7 days of our lives.

It exceed our expectations since we step on Male airport and the staff was already there to support and care till the last minute when their staff walked with us as well to the boarding gates. Excellent Service helpful and caring, starred place everywhere you look at around the island and in every corner of the resort. Room size and status superb, including service and Cleaning during the whole day, some names I could note: Alam, Sushma, Sylvia, Tía, Selva, Khushbu, Zakir, Eliza, Devaraj but many others I didn't find out and they were extremely caring. Really tasty food with many options dietary restrictions and always well presented, served and very tasty! Many activities, trips and fun options available, everyday shows and activities, gym available, spa and jacuzzi. The NYs eve was incredible in all senses I can'r describe the experience with only words. I would repeat without doubts if I would come to Maldives again.

TurkeyThe presence of a door in the villa that is connected to the other villa was somewhat unreasonable in terms of noise.
The attention and attitude of the staff were so valuable. From the first moment, all the staff members’ respectful and kind attitude impressed us. During our whole time at the hotel, each and every staff member greeted us whenever we met. They also always smiled and tried to cheer up our baby all the time :) Many special thanks to Gehani & Jerry at the reception, driver Sulyman like most of the other buggy drivers, housekeeper(Who was responsible for villa 293 and really hardworking) and all the people who work at the main restaurant for making our stay so valuable with their respect, kindness, friendship and cheerful chats. Everthing was so well organised since the first moment till we left.

IndiaLocation was excellent with breathtaking views from the whole Island and specially our water villa. Food and staff were wonderful ( A wide variety of food options for Asians and Europeans alike) We were upgraded to a better room immediately upon our arrival entirety of our stay, special shout out to Dwan for taking good care of us. All the chef's and staff at the Southern Star Restaurant special shout out to Chef Samiran and Amith and Chef's at the action station for making us delicious food and making us at home. The activities shall be planned out days in advance as weather can play spoilsport in your planned activities. So make sure to book them on 1st day of arrival so even if it is rescheduled you are able to do them.

BulgariaThe transfers to and from Male could be better organised. We had relatively long waits at both Male and Maamigili airports. They plan for 2 hours check in but it only takes 10 or so minutes. Make sure to book everything in advance. We were told we could go and rent a bike anytime, so we returned to reception 2 hours later only to be told they're out of bikes. Similar story with the canoe. Don't wait until the last minute to book as the resort is fully booked and they may run out quickly.
Would be hard to top up this holiday... We stayed 2 days in a Deluxe Beach Pool Villa and 5 in a Beach Villa. The DBPL is amazing. BV needs renovation but is good value for money for the Maldives. The house reef is excellent and the water around the island is pristine! We suggest going near the Italian restaurant to snorkel - we got to swim with reef sharks and many other big fish! They also offer a variety of excursions - we went to the Big Game Adventure Snorkelling, Sunset Fishing and Semi Submarine. The first one includes swimming with whale sharks, turtles and manta rays. incredible. The Sunset Fishing was also lots of fun - whatever you catch they also cook for you for free. The Semi Submarine is also an excellent way to explore the depths of the house reef. And finally, the staff... There are no words to describe how amazing the staff at this place is. There are some people we'd like to name because they helped make our holiday unforgettable. Starting off with Karthik who is one of the waiters in the coffee shop. This guy went above and beyond for us and helped massively with my partner's proposal, and on many other occasions. He's genuinely an extremely nice guy who would make sure you have everything you need and more :) Continuing with the guys from the coffee shop - we have Abigail and Jeremy who are the duet performing over there most nights. These guys are super talented and down to earth. They bring a lot of joy and genuinely just a great vibe to the place. Kudos. We also have Ijas who is another waiter there, always cheerful and polite. Moving on to Ibrahim who is a chef at the main restaurant - my fiancé is allergic to garlic (weird, yes) and he went out of his way to make sure he had delicious food to eat at every meal. All the guys from the Watersport centre were great as well! And finally, our housekeeper Elias who took good care of us during our stay and made sure our room was always clean and tidy.

MoroccoI spent a week with my wife and infant child in Sun Island and we enjoyed every minute of it. Staff were welcoming and helpful, reactive to any of our inquiries, they were even offering to take care of our 4 months old baby so we can eat at ease. Food was amazing all throughout the week, the buffet had everything from vegan options to meat and seafood. Room service was outstanding as they were cleaning our villa multiple times a day, at least three. Absolutely nothing we required was not met, the place is a piece of paradise, naturally beautiful and made even more so with the attitude and cheerfulness of the staff. Absolutely love it.

It is very serene and the staff are very welcoming; always greeting us with smile and asking us how’s our stay so far. Food is commendable, they keep on changing the menu daily. Staff at Southern Restaurant are very pleasant and friendly. Two thumbs up to Alam and Sushma. Thanks for their great service. They are both valuing each and every guest who came and dine at restaurant. I highly recommend this resort to those who want to experience water villa as the stay at Sun Island is worth a penny.
