The windows are of sliding type, so they don't close fully, and the streets are loud (a lot of construction happening).

Very helpful and welcoming staff. Room is clean and modern, with a comfortable bed. Simple but tasty breakfast.

The location was a bit detached from the civilised part of hulumale. The room was extremely noisy at night with cars and motorbikes driving around constantly. Finally staff wasn't super friendly or helpful. It took me several hours to get the change back from my dollars payment. We were told off for having issues with the key to enter the room.

Big street running in front of the hotel with much traffic day and night. Poor noise insulation. Big constructions all around. Manager is very helpful, other staff not so.

We booked for a large 26 sqm city view suit room with booking.com but when we arrived they gave us 20 sqm standard room, so we complained, then, they gave us the room we booked for．this gave us not so nice impression of the hotel at the beginning but the room was clean and comfortable and breakfast was good, after all we had had comfortable 2 nights at the sunny canopy hotel Hulhumale

When we’ve arrived at New Year Eve, they told that they didn’t have room for us ( I’ve booked month before and corresponded with them before arriving ). They took us into the other, very small accommodation for 85 usd , so we were very disappointed, because it was night and rainy for changing hotel. Only because the manager or owner was very kind and helpful I don’t rate they very low.

The staff was super nice and helpful. They can help you to book a taxi to the airport and will let you know the price in advance. The area is very local, and the locals I met there were the nicest.

- No view from the window (construction 2m away from the balcony.) - The receptionist was „too nice” (creepy way). Calm down :) You are doing great, no need to type hotel’s phone nr into our phones or show us every single item in the mini bar. He seemed very stressed showing us around and looking for the boss to take any decision. Seems like he was not givinen responsibility and to do anything he has to talk with the boss (even to exchange money). - They should improve kitchen customer service (no napkins provided, nobody checked on us, no service basically)

New hotel near the seafront. Very polite and helpful staff. Ask them to book taxi to/from airport as it was half the price of getting taxi from rank at airport! Great breakfast, fresh fruit and omelette.

A free bottle of water would have been amazing

I stayed at Sunny Canopy for a quick stopover and although I arrived quite late at night and had to leave early in the morning I felt very much „at home“ there. The staff was very nice and super helpful and even got me a breakfast before the official breakfast time Facilities were very clean and room was very nice

I would improve the breakfast choices, by offering to guests more variety of food.

My room was nice, clean and with modern forniture (comfy bed). The staff was very kind and friendly, they did their best to make me feel comfortable. I spent only one night there since, due to my fligh delay, I missed the last afternoon Speedboat for Mathiveri. I also ordered my dinner in my room from their restaurant and food was very good. It takes around 15 mins to go to the hotel from Velana Airport by taxi.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Sunny Canopy in Hulhumale, Maldives, and my experience was nothing short of exceptional. The property is brand new, and it shows in the modern and well-maintained facilities. What truly stood out, though, was the remarkable staff. Their courtesy and professionalism made my stay truly memorable. One particular instance that left a lasting impression was their flexibility in accommodating my late departure due to an evening flight. It's this level of customer service that sets it apart.

WiFi was a bit spotty at certain points.

The Staff. Wonderful people especially a Gentleman, Riyaz by name. A room upgrade was also provided to sea view. The facilities were also clean and neat.

The hotel started its operation in 2023. All the amenities are new. The staff is cordial and very helpful. The owner also took care of the guests during breakfast time. Much recommended.
