Mattresses worn - not acceptable when you pay 100 USD per night. Although we agreed the day before on a breakfast time as we had to leave at a fixed time we had to wait 30 minutes. Obviously nothing was communicated to the next shift. No water during the night, no electricity for hours. No problem if you would pay less.

The staff is very attentive and supportive. As it was raining and moisture in the room they offered to enlighten a fire. Nice colonial building surrounded by tea plantations.

Lovely apartment. Lovely staff but breakfast service was very slow. The pizza however was outstanding. A few garden chairs in the grounds would have been lovely and some information offered as to the area. We didnt know for example that one can no longer drive around mount mulanje since the floods. But we would definitely gladly stay again.

There wasn't an option to refill bottles with treated drinking water, so we were obligated to buy single use plastic bottles.

The staff was very welcoming and friendly, and the food was excellent and included plenty of vegan options for us. The lodge is located among beautiful tea estates and mountains and offers hiking trails to the Mulanje.

The ad stated that there was a pool and possibility to hire bikes, both of which were out of order.

This place is really great, its close to the major road so super easy to find and accessible but set back and quiet with lovely views over the tea fields. There is an area for a campfire and dining outside and the dinner and breakfast were both good. The people working at the place were great. It is possible to go for a walk through the tea fields nearby which is beautiful and the local people are super welcoming :)

near tea plantations, very beautiful sceneries, good place for a hike in the mountains and perfect for a cold dive in the waterfalls. also, perfect since I was driving for two days and its the perfect stay near the border to relax for a few days and hit the road again

Lovely location, lovely staff, beautiful views, made up a campfire every night which was great, shower had great temperature and pressure, fresh vegetables prepared using bottled water, extremely generous portions of food; we couldn’t finish most meals!

The bathroom was lacking some light, it was quite dark in the shower. The menu offered at the restaurant is a bit on the expensive side, even though the quantity is very abundant (we mostly shared).

The lodge is beautiful with nice decoration and a pleasant garden. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable. Staff is helpful and polite.

Good atmosphere, good food. When providing extras for breakfast, however, it would have been helpful for staff to explain that these came with a charge.

Africa Wild Truck Eco Camp is absolutely amazing! The location is perfect to start hiking to Mulanje Mountain. the place is not well managed. I got an email with rates for meals and then got another email with significantly higher rates, which made no sense. I contacted them and they said because of inflation and what so not. in my country they would have had to respect the original rates. but they said it was fresh Italian recipes so I had high expectations. the food was awful, cold pasta with pesto no flavor and a salad with no dressing. new dinner prices cost same as the room so I skipped it. wifi was not working. they also put on booking they accept MasterCard and then they said no but they do so don’t be confused by this error of theirs

It’s located next to a very nice tea plantation that you can walk in. the hotel is an old historical house with very big rooms. they set a fireplace in my room which was very nice. staff was very friendly and they helped me organize a hiking tour
