Loved everything about it from the homey kitchen with EVERYTHING, fantastic staff, stunning pool, wonderful colors, bikes, location from town. We got a second story apartment and couldn’t not have happier. Had the hardest time leaving and out next stay at villas akumal was a total disaster in comparison.

Nothing could have been better. The place is as good as it gets.

This place is the perfect spot for a quiet, relaxing trip. We loved the pool and being just a block away from the beach. The bikes were a great way to get around, even though great food is walking distance. Upon arriving our hostess took her time to orient us and gave us plenty of helpful tips and advice that greatly enhanced our stay. We will definitely be coming back.

It’s a bit of a hike to the central part of the town, though the hotel does have bicycles for guests. No conveniences like grocery stores or pharmacies close by. The small queen studio is very cramped and the bed is uncomfortable.

Staff were extremely helpful, especially Mariela who gave us advice on tours and arranged transport. Our king studio was lovely and had so many extras: beach towels, umbrellas, facecloths, drinking water, coffee, etc. Nice little pool in a shady spot.

Lovely, comfortable and clean. A few steps away from the beach. Slightly out of the centre of town but it doesn't really feel like it as the bikes are always available and the cycle to the town is a very relaxed 5-10 mins away. I generally don't really like cycling but really enjoyed cycling around this quiet place. Really helpful staff! They booked us taxis and sorted out an admin error with our payment. Also let us leave our bags in the office after we checked out so we could enjoy the beach before our flight.

Not much! Puerto Morelos is quite quiet but that’s not the hotel’s fault

This property is stunning- beautiful courtyard, pool, lovely plants. Probably my favourite accommodation in Mexico.

The water in the shower was a bit cool, but other than that everything was perfect.

We loved it there. They upgraded us to a well equipped two plan apartment with two terraces with a view. Nice pool. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend it.

A bit more removed from the center, but they allow free usage of bicycle in town, so it compensates very well

Super clean and comfortable apartments, very nice staff, well equiped kitchen. There was an Android stick for the TV, that enabled to install VPN, and watch our streaming services as if we were at home. Very recommended place

The personnel at this property were incredibly friendly and helped me to figure out several things. They were super kind and available at any time I needed them. Furthermore it was great that we could make use of the bicycles for free, the property is super close to the beach as well. Overall, I had an amazing experience here.

Rooms were prepared with lots of love. We arrived after check-in hours but the staff arrenged a super easy check-in. Parking is also easily possible on the streets (free). There are bikes to hire (free), a nice map will all insider information and a water dispenser in every room.

The apartment of Abbey da sol is fantastic, cozy, spacious and very nicely furnished. The bed is really extra large! The kitchen is really well organized and has everything you might need (even a blender 🤩. We had a small child with us and they even gave us a crib for him. The outside pool is really charming, with flower, plan trees and light. And last but not least, the staff is friendly and very helpful. Close to the beach, 15 Min walk to the main plaza. We're totally satisfied.

Everything was perfect!

Lovely and cosy apartment with all the necessary amenities (water dispenser, beach towels...). At walking distance from the beach. Perfect for an early morning swim when you are jet lagged 😉. Quiet area. Super friendly and helpful staff. We stayed for one night only but I wish we had stayed longer. I fully recommend Abbey del Sol!

Very clean and well equipped with dishes etc. staff was extremely helpful . A short walk to the Center for restaurants and the beach right across the street.
