That we only stayed one night prior to leaving to the airport. Wish we could have stayed longer.

The location and outdoor area was very nice. And the staff so friendly. Will definitely stay longer if I were to head back to the Yucatan Península.

We loved it here. Casita number 4, the pink little double was so nicely designed. The bathroom was beautiful, and the little room had everything we needed. Everything is so clean and I would have stayed here longer if it was available. The pool is so nice and refreshing but not for swimming just relaxing. The garden is amazing with some massive old trees and giant meandering palms. The staff was so friendly and attentive and spoke very good English. The proximity to beach access away from the main town was perfect, it's just steps from the entrance to the best spot in town. Breakfast was fresh and home made and delicious. I really like eggs for breakfast and can't eat bread so had to ask for some as they were only offering potato tacitos one day and bread with toppings the next. They were happy to whip me up some eggs with ham. A plate of fruit and yogurt to start which was fresh and delicious. Thank you. If I return to Puerto Morelos I will try and stay here for sure. Don't hesitate on this one.

Elisa, Ray & staff, go out of thier way to accommodate their guests. They were exceptionally friendly and very generous with their time. I recommend them highly if you are looking for an authentic Puerto Morelos experience.

All together our stay was great but we would suggest two improvements to make the place perfect! Firstly, the food handles to the room were tricky to latch and lock, and were quite flimsy. It made the room feel not very secure. Although there was a safe for small valuable items we still would have felt better if the doors had better handles and locks. Second, the bins in the bathroom (which are for used toilet paper) need to have lids on them, rather than being open.

Amar Inn was a lovely place to stay, just next to the beach and a short walk into the town centre. Really friendly helpful staff and a great breakfast on both mornings we were there. Our room (double, ground floor) was simple, but clean and with a good fridge, free coffee and excellent air con. We also had a small balcony. They supply bottled water top ups from their water coolers and there is sun screen if you have forgotten yours! The beach is also extremely clean and quiet. The sea was warm and clear without too much seaweed in the shallows. Puerto Morelos is a Lovely little town, only 20 mins drive, but also a Million miles away, from the all inclusive monoliths of cancun.

Breakfast was very good but it would have been helpful to know what was on offer each day.

Hotel Amar Inn was located on a lovely white sand beach and only a short 10 minute walk from the many restaurants, bars and shops of Puerto Morelos. They provided beach chairs which was a real bonus. The room was a good size with excellent air conditioning and a plentiful supply of hot water in the shower. Breakfast was interesting, not only offering fresh fruit, fresh juice but a different typical Mexican breakfast dish each day. The staff were welcoming and helpful.

I can't thank Amar Inn enough for the wonderful time we had as a family at your place. Our room was clean and very spacious. We were lucky to get the best seaview room (thank you so much - it was my 50th birthday celebration). We were treated so nicely by the staff from the moment we arrived. It is a small bed and breakfast place just a few steps away from the beach and a 5-7 min walk to the down area. They provide beach chairs and towels. I loved having breakfast Included. It was served at the central patio, which has a lot of vegetation and provides a cozy fresh atmosphere. The place was very clean. We'll be back.

You may need to wear insect repellent in April but not the hotel's fault!

Everything! The delicious Mexican breakfasts. The staff were so helpful and cheerful. The ambience of the place The peace and quiet. . The greenery. Only around 12 rooms which were well equipped and every room different. AC worked a treat. A truly Mexican experience. And 50m to the beach and beach chairs provided! Loved every minute!

A couple rooms are near to reception so it’s easy to hear that activity from inside your room.

Location is great, 100 feet from the beach and a few blocks from center of town with several restaurants only a block or two away. The hotel’s Inner Courtyard is wonderful. The prepared Breakfast is Excellent! The on site staff was also great and happy to help. We always appreciate a staffed hotel.

Pool could have been cleaner. Sink worked well but was a bit bizarre with large stones in it. I'm not sure if that was for effect.

The grounds and property are beautiful. It is steps from the beach. The staff are very friendly and work hard to solve any problems that guests have. The breakfast is very large and delicious. I was not expecting a 3 course breakfast!

Decaf coffee please 🥹 Stairs could be a safety issue for families with small kids, but our big kids loved them.

Had a super late arrival but Ray was waiting for us when we arrived, and got us additional towels and pillows. Comfy bed! We were in the tippy top room and had two balconies, both of which you could see the beach and waves from, albeit between other houses. It was marvelous. Water, a fridge, a microwave and coffee maker (alas no decaf for the coffee maker but we brought our own) and we were good to go. Breakfast is from 8-10 and sorta whatever they serve, but it's delicious and a perfect mexican breakfast experience. (They can make you other things on request). They also checked about allergies and that was easy to communicate. We had two 12+ kids on the fold out bed and one found it so confortable and the other, the opposite 😜 We had a lot of wonderful help from Elisa with getting (and then cancelling) a local rental, and getting a taxi. Very sweet and helpful. Unique outdoorsy hotel that we're headed back to tomorrow!

There was construction happening next door to the hotel, which is completely out of their control and they did tell us in advance this was happening. It didn't impact our stay, just something to be aware of.

The hotel is located steps from the beach. There were beach chairs available for us to take down with us, it's in a great spot. Very easy to run back to the room if needed. The staff at the hotel were wonderful. They helped with booking a taxi to the airport and made sure our stay was comfortable. The room was very spacious, with a hide a bed that we used. The hotel has a funky vibe, great court yard with a pool and hammocks to enjoy. It was very conveniently located to walk into town for shopping and to enjoy the restaurants. Breakfast was larger than expected, there was fresh fruit with granola, then a hot meal. Very satisfying.

Elisa at the front desk was exceptionally pleasant and helpful--it felt like we had a friend from the moment we walked in. The location is great, with easy access to the beach just around the corner. Good quality beach chairs are provided for free, which was great. We were there on a weekend, so the beach (which has public access) was busy and active with what seemed to be at least as many locals as tourists. We really enjoyed that vibe and energy, but those looking for a secluded private beach should look elsewhere. The town itself turned out to be our favorite of our entire Yucatan vacation--lots of great food and shops, with a great balance of touristy stuff and authentic Yucatan/Mexican feel, and of course lots of options for water activities.

There was nothing !

I can't say enough good things about this inn. The staff went out of their way to make sure our stay was grand. from a warm greeting to accommodating us for a breakfast with bacon one morning to helping us with our reservations to Circus Soleil Joya and also taxi rides to show and airport. Also, they helped with reservations to a restaurant downtown for a special occasion. Our room was very comfortable and the grounds very nice.
