How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Staff at reception was not very friendly, the hotel was in restoration and therefore there were lots of building works around, which made sometimes mobility hard. The car park is reduced and for the size and category of the hotel they need to have bigger space for parking. Overall Antaris is old and needs urgent refurbishing.
The breakfast was good, included in the price of our room and the selection of food was good enough. The rooms were comfortable and the hotel is very good located in the heart of Monterrey.

The pool wasn’t available and the breakfast was cold the housekeeping didn’t change the sheets since we got there. They would just make the bed but never changed the sheets. The sink was functioning properly. The walls are real thin you can hear the noise from the hallway.
The location was good and the driver Javier had excellent customer service!

they did not have enough towels, i had to ask for more, and when they cleaned the room they took all and leave only 2 big ones for the bathroom

The smell. We have stayed in the past and it seems to have sewer problems since it still smells like drainage, and also the water doesn't drain fast in the sink. My 4 year old daughter had to use the lobby restroom and it was disgusting smelling that she even said no, I don't want to do it here.

The hotel is okay. But the rooms and bathrooms are quite old . Also the bathroom had still some hair at the shower.
The bed was really comfortable and big, great staff and also good location.

air/heating conditioning is old and super noisy .. it's a city with extreme weather and having noisy compressors in your bedroom will guaratee a bad sleep or not sleep at all . Also the free wifi is very low speed and useless for streaming apps .

We were woken up every day by 9 am because the cleaning staff knocked to ask if we would like the room cleaned. We wanted to sleep in since it was a vacation.

While I enjoyed my stay at this hotel overall, there were a few issues that could have been improved. The room itself was quite outdated, and could have used a bit of a refresh to bring it up to date. Additionally, the air conditioning unit in the room was quite noisy, which made it difficult to sleep at night. Finally, the hotel is located next to a busy main road, which can be quite noisy at times.
The reception area is beautifully designed, and the staff members were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my visit. I particularly appreciated the free parking, which made my stay even more convenient. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, with a lovely little living room area.

Front desk girl attendant she ignored me for a solid 2 minutes before acknowledging my presence. Water accumulated while in the shower.

I ordered a crib to be ready, asked for it 5 times and at last they told me they were all “occupied” since earlier that day, not taking in consideration my request was prior my arrival and earlier that day when I arrived.
