Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

CanadaPulling on to the highway after leaving Baja69 is a bit of an adventure, especially if you use the turnoff with the Baja69 sign. Hard to see oncoming traffic and this felt a bit dangerous. We discovered by accident, an alternative sand road that goes under the main highway and comes out on the other side with a merge onto the highway heading towards Todos Santos. Go right at the fork after leaving the property. Otherwise, the property is excellent as it is and we really enjoyed our stay!
Owners are very warm people and we felt very welcome. The architecture is very interesting with so much brick work. You can tell it was a work of love. Bed is king size, comfy and two large windows make the room bright and airy. The location near Cerritos Beach is excellent and even though you are fairly close to the main highway, the rooms are situated so that there is little to no road noise. In fact at night, you can hear the surf break at the beach which is a 5-10 minute walk away. Free parking is handy! Breakfast was good. Scrambled eggs, small dish of beans or 1/2 a quesadilla, Coffee and Orange juice. Not super large portion but adequate for 200 pesos. There are restaurants nearby at Cerritos so lots of choice.

United StatesThe staff here is amazing. Juve and Alma are really sweet and will make you feel at home. It's a unique property with an interesting story. Ask Juve how it came to be. It's close enough to the action without being in the middle of the riff-raff, at least for now (Cerritos is growing fast). The rooms are large and well-appointed with great attention to detail. The bathrooms are huge with hot showers and excellent pressure. Juve and Alma will also cook you breakfast, which includes the best refried beans I've ever tasted. All of this with incredible views of the Pacific Ocean and the Sierra de la Laguna mountains.

United StatesOnly thing that would have made our visit better would have been staying longer...
Tranquil location (easily accessible from main highway) in a uniquely constructed facility - rooms are both interesting and comfortable with spectacular sea views - especially at sunset! Easy walk to the beach and quick drive to great local eateries. Juve is a wonderful, accomodating host - and our stay was far too short - we'll have to return for a longer visit.

United StatesAbsolutely nothing.
The breakfast was so nice and lovely to sit and relax on the patio. The location is fine, it’s beautiful to look at the sea from your room but it’s a ways off. Otherwise it’s on a small, safe dirt road with other houses around it. It’s about a 15-20 minute drive to Todos Santos. The people who own it are amazing and are so emotionally invested in their cabanas. We would absolutely go back.

United StatesThe rooms are stylish and comfortable, with cool brickwork and huge windows that let in cool air. The walk to the beach is easy and straightforward. The breakfast has a few Mexican dishes for options, made to order. We enjoyed the chilaquiles and huevos rancheros while watching cactus wrens and doves in the courtyard below. The staff were warm and friendly.

CanadaBecause of its remote setting it would be awesome to have a few more amenities such as fridges or ice. Having large coolers in the rooms was very helpful, but having ice available would have been amazing 😀

United StatesLocation is a bit remote (no walkable restaurants), but for rest and peace, this is more of a plus, really.
Gorgeous brickwork and a gorgeous sunset view of the ocean. Quiet, spacious, well-appointed room with a comfortable bed and mosquito-netted windows. Whales skyhopping in the distance made the sunset unforgettable.

CanadaProbably best for people with a car as there are no restaurants or stores within a walking distance.
The room was clean and comfortable. Juve and Alma were wonderful. They set out coffee, tea, and pastries each morning despite it not being mentioned as an inclusion at booking. The beach is a short 5-10 minute walk away. Cerritos Beach is about 20-25 minutes walk. We had a beautiful view of the ocean from our room. I would definitely come back and recommend this property.

United StatesAC would be nice but it isn't necessary. Having some filtered/bottled water in the room would be great. Otherwise, perfect!
The rooms are even better than they look online- clean, quiet, modern, amazingly well done. You fall asleep to the sound of the ocean. The bathroom is also incredible, better than the one in my house. The highlight was probably the breakfast that is included- made to order, and no doubt the best breakfast we had the entire trip. Cerritos is such an amazing place, and the beach near the hotel is swimmable and much quieter than the nearby surf beach. There is no AC, but the large windows have screens and can be opened for a crossbreeze, we slept well.
