Only minor thing was that the bar was not opened until 2pm. Would have been handy from slightly earlier.

Beautiful, clean and not too busy. With only a small number of rooms we were often able to have the pool to ourselves. The cocktail ands and breakfast were fab and the staff incredibly helpful. We also made use of the free bicycles available, which was a lovely way to get from A to B. Would highly recommend this to friends visiting Bacalar.

The staff is amazingly helpful! We needed help with our car and they make sure that someone comes to the hotel to help. The hotel is also very good, comfortable bed, good location, nice swimming pool. You get a lot of recommendations on what to eat and do around Bacalar at arrival.

Beautiful new property, nice design touches and a lovely swimming pool. Right in the centre of Bacalar,about 3 blocks away from the lagoon. Comfortable beds, good air con and helpful friendly staff. The breakfast was good and the restaurant does dinner as well.

This is the place to stay at Bacalar. This hotel is absolutely lush, every detail on it is gorgeous. Our room was so comfy and beautiful. Service is excellent, everyone will make you feel more than welcome. The food at the restaurant is delicious, we were very pleased with the tasty breakfast and service. Amazing location! Walking distance from the lagoon, city centre, the beautiful eco park and an amazing restaurant (La Playita) that has lovely food and access to the lagoon. We definitely enjoyed our stay and look forward to visiting again.

the only 1 tiny little negative is that the WiFi wasn't great. This didn't bother us too much but may bother others. There are plenty of places nearby to get better wifi if you need it!

We absolutely loved our stay at Blue Palm and Bacalar in general. - the staff were so incredibly helpful and really took our stay to the next level. Lluvia in particular was so welcoming and gave us recommendations for the local area taking the time to answer all our annoying questions. She was always on hand and even called a taxi for us when we were stranded on the other side of town. - the room was lovely and spacious and very clean, very good air con, bed was comfy (need to find out where they get their pillows) and the bathroom was large with a big walk in shower. The room included a tv, a fridge and ample storage space (not always easy to find on holiday) - we spent a lot of time round the pool which was lovely and quiet and just a really relaxing vibe. We especially enjoyed watching all the little lizards that run about - the location is great, very close (10 min walk) the the main square and literally 5 minutes from the lagoon. We spent a lot of days in La Playita which is very close. We found it super quiet and never struggled with noise in the 5 days we were there - breakfast we thought was brilliant. You get fruit, toast, juice and tea/coffee included every morning and then a choice of a hot dish (mainly revolving around eggs). The restaurant in general we found really good and we ate there for lunch a couple of times. It has a varied menu including mexican and european dishes. If we were too return we would definitely want to come back here, can't recommend enough.

We loved everything about this place. We highly recommend booking here you will not be disappointed I promise. Staff rooms and the entire location well centered from everything. Another thing we loved was the onsite restaurant amazing food. Owners always making sure we were enjoying our stay and available for anything we needed and recommended things to do daily. Definitely one of the most amazing places I have ever stayed.

All the staff were friendly and welcoming. Receiving a map and lots of information at check-in. Very comfortable room with a view of the stunning garden and pool. Quiet. Wonderful a La carte breakfast. The hotel open air restaurant reported to be the best food in Bacalar. We ate there twice.

There was not a single thing I can say bad about this property or the owner. It was perfect.

The property was clean and close to all the activities you’ll want to go to. The owner was the sweetest guy ever and he helped our group schedule taxi’s every day. He told us all about each destination and what it would entail, how long most people visit for, and the best times to visit. He made sure everyone in our group was comfortable and happy. The pool was gorgeous. The bar was delicious and their breakfasts were amazing. I can’t imagine staying anywhere else when we go back.
