It is a bit further away from the city center but we didn’t mind. 15-20min beach walk and you’re in the center, or take the car.

Amazing place! Would really recommend! We only stayed here one night but we had a great time. Food was amazing, staff were friendly. Very spacious room, pool was perfect to cool down. Short walk to the beach, beautiful sunset!

Wow, we loved Can Cocal so much. There are lots of beautiful places to stay in El Cuyo but this is definitely the best. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, cool and each has its own hammock. And the outside areas are what really make it - so many different areas to relax, eat, drink, read, chat whether day or evening, and the pool is gorgeous, refreshing and surrounded by beautiful palm trees. The food is so so delicious, the drinks are fantastic with a great happy hour, the atmosphere is so chill and friendly. All the staff are lovely and the owners went out of their way to make our honeymoon trip more perfect than we could imagine. The location is fab right next to the beautiful quiet beach, and a short walk from the centre.

Beautiful and peaceful, location was perfect and walking distance to the beach and Restaurants. The pool area has lots of deck chairs, and hammocks. They have beach chairs, towels and a handfan that can be used daily. There is a restaurant and a bar on the property, the staff was an absolute pleasure

Everyone was so helpful and kind. It quickly became cozy and felt so 'at home'. It's very quiet. the rooms have windows on 3 sides so there's the possibility of having a nice breeze (with mosquito screens) flow through the room all day and night.

Everyone here was so welcoming! We can't say enough about Can Cocal. Luis brought us hibiscus tea as we checked in! Thank you! The food was delicious and available all day. On Wed and Sat they do paella on the fire. The cocktails and the service were both exceptional. We miss these people already. The beach was so close and so quiet. You could walk as long as you wanted.

The owners and staff were all extremely helpful and kind. We loved them all! The property had everything we needed for our beach stay. Towels and chairs and lots of suggestions for day trips. The fire pit was lovely to sit around at night with other guests and the owners. On Wednesday and Saturday evenings the chef Marcos made paella on the open fire for all to enjoy it was fabulous we ate it both nights! The pool was a perfect temperature and fun to swim in. The free breakfast was fabulous . A choice of anything on the menu including wonderful coffee expresso drinks. Happy hour every day was also fun. I would recommend this boutique hotel to absolutely everyone! Go stay and enjoy.

The only small thing I don't like is not having a door between the bedroom and the toilet.

This hotel is so nice! The rooms are spacious and modern and have huge beds and a big balcony / terrace. The restaurant was really good. They have a paella night a couple nights a week which seems to attract people from across the town. The place had such a nice vibe and felt like a hub for the area. Very short walk to the beach. Highlight is the staff who were so nice, especially Aranza who was so friendly and helpful to us.

The hotel is brand new, we had a huge and very comfortable room. We arrived on a Wednesday and they served a huge paella for all the guests. The food à la carte was very cheap and everythinf was delicious. The were super sweet dogs who would come around for pets :)

It’s just over the road from the beach. The property is very cool and has a wonderful beach vibe. Staff are very friendly and can’t do enough for you. Huge tasty breakfast. Great cocktails and paella night really good.

Fabulous stay! The staff was incredibly warm and helpful. The space was comfortable and common area inviting. The breakfast was delicious and quite large. Easy access to the beach, a pleasant walk into town. Admittedly, the wind was very strong in November, which limited how long we lounged on the beach. We hope to return and see El Cuyo during a different time of year!

Everything about the property was lovely. Such a nice place, and the hosts were amazing, even providing us with a cocktail on the house as well as loaning us a cooler with ice for our beers at the beach. 100% recommended to anyone visiting Cuyo
