How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The staff were not very friendly, the room was too hot even when it wasn’t hot outside. There was a big fan in the room but it’s too noisy and not very good.
Big room, location is good, we were able to dorarlo check in for 350 pesos which was really good. Overall is good value for money.

Some nights there were rooms that had noise and music until 2 am. It isn not the hotel's fault, but there should be stricter rules about noise after 10pm or midnight.

The check in hours, since we waited on the reception because hour room wasn't ready. Also that there's no AC, which didn't bother us because the weather was great, but during summer it may not be so comfortable.
Great location, close to the center of the city. Really clean and has most of the amenities one can ask for. The cleaning service was really good and in a safe and beautiful neighborhood.

Everything was good.
Fantastic location in great area of CDMX, lots of restaurants, bars etc within a short stroll. Public transport links at end of road. Nice rooms with good WiFi and hot shower. Good value for money at the time I stayed.

Reception staff do not speak English, decor in room is brown and bit dated, room was a bit dark as the window faced into an internal atrium. Some noise carried through the atrium as well, from staff or guests on ground floor.
It was very clean, large room, bathroom was new, had a safe in the room to keep valuables in, sheets were nice, close to a metro station, cable TV, room service from restaurant on ground floor (had the salmon several times - good value), overall excellent value for Mexico City.

Location was ok, but Doctores neighbourhood is very close. Don’t go there and just stick to Roma and you’ll be fine.

The transport options from this location aren’t as convenient as from Roma Norte. But it’s a nice walk around the neighbourhood, or you can grab an Uber.
This hotel is a great value in Roma Sur. Rooms were spacious with huge beds, and the hotel was kept very clean. The hotel restaurant is decent and extremely convenient.

The place is very echo-y. We could hear our neighbours talking all day and night, doors opening and closing sound extra loud with the echo in the hallway. If you have quiet neighbours though, it's a quiet place! Also booked this because it's non-smoking but we could smell smoke coming into our room almost our whole stay from somewhere. Did not like that at all.
Very clean hotel, great location. Street tacos right on the corner were great, and close walk to shops, metro and other restaurants any way you go. Nice to have the restaurant attached as well, decent prices overall.

Since our room didn’t have AC, we had to keep the window open over the night. Sometimes it was a bit noisy outside. But in general it didn’t bother us too much.
Very good stay for an affordable price. Location was great, we could reach bars and shops in Roma district in less than 10 min. The room was super clean and comfortable (great bed).

Our room was pretty dark, we needed to turn on the light even on the day time. Sometimes we could hear the sound of TV from other room,if neighbor turned the TV laud and didn't close the window. There was no need of password for the adult channels. So if you have kids, be careful when you use the TV.
Room was nicely designed and big. Wifi was fast and stable. Hot water and strong water pressure. Location was good. Big TV. Good value of money.
