We loved our stay at the hotel. The whole hotel was tastefully decorated with very nice art. Our room was large and comfortable, and well equipped even with Apple TV and Netflix! Our room was facing the street but with the shutters closed we had no problem with the noise from the street. The service was super friendly and the breakfast was a real highlight with freshly made eggs and juice. It was something we really looked forward to every morning. We would wholeheartedly recommend the hotel. Oaxaca was a beautiful city and Casa Carmen Morelos really made our visit more memorable.

We had such a wonderful stay Casa Carmen Morelos! My friend and I stayed for five nights and only wish we could have stayed longer. Every detail about the space and experience was wonderful. They think of all the details — amazing design, art, fresh flowers, beautiful scents, perfect music, delicious breakfast — so we could stay and experience with ease and enjoyment. The staff are wonderful! All the other details wouldn’t be so perfect if their staff wasn’t the beautiful, kind, sincere, down-to-earth team they are. Thank you all so very much!

There wasn’t much to the property, you couldn’t get food or drinks except for breakfast. The rooms were nice, but kind of dark not a lot of windows, felt a little stuffy

The property was magical. The rooms, courtroom and entrance filled with the amazing artwork done by the owner. It was like staying in a gallery. The staff was friendly, kind and attentive. The rooms comfortable and spacious. The breakfast was amazing with so many choices and each plate presented beautifully. You could sense the positive relationship between the staff, laughing and working together. The location wonderful.

We tried to contact the property to help with restaurant reservations before our arrival but despite repeated messages and calls we never got a reply. The room we had was facing the road and there was some traffic noise. Breakfast was limited to one dish only which was a shame although it was extremely delicious. WiFi could be stronger.

The decor of the building and room was great. We especially loved the “outdoor” bathroom. Super clean. The breakfast was really tasty. The centre was 10 minutes walk away and the area felt safe at night.

Great location - close enough to the city center for easy walking, but not quite in the center of things so it's quieter. Staff was wonderful - attentive, friendly, hardworking. The house is beautiful, just like in the pictures, and very clean. Not a lot of natural light inside the rooms, but the installed lights are more than adequate. Good breakfast!

We arrived early and forgot to request early check-in and we weren't able to access our room ahead of 3:00 PM check-in. It didn't appear as if anyone was in the room yet so it would have been nice to access the room early. But we should have requested early check-in, so that's partially on us.

Casa Carmen Morelos was a lovely hotel stay. It's tiny with only four or so rooms. It felt like a private Airbnb with the perks of staying in a hotel! The room was gorgeous, cool and large. The common spaces were beautiful and filled with art. Even though our room faced the street we hardly noticed any noise - except one afternoon when a calenda street parade passed right by us! It was so fun to open our windows and watch the parade pass by. The breakfast was delicious and the staff was attentive and kind. We loved Casa Carmen Morelos and we will be back!

Everything was great, there is no pool but that didn’t matter to us.

Everything was exceptional: the tasteful architecture, art and decoration; the delicious breakfast, hot chocolate and cocktails; the friendliness of the staff, in particular Alejandro the main guy. We would definitely stay again!

Alejandro is a great host. He always anticipates the guest’s needs. There are only 4 rooms in the entire casa, which made my stay very special. Diana’s breakfast every morning is topnotch! Excellent service. The room is always cleaned well & it made me want to come home for siesta in the middle of the day.
