Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesPool was very rustic, had it been more updated, likely would have spent more time there
Large private rooms with lots of large community spaces (coworking area, kitchen, mediation/yoga area). Decor and overall vibe of the place was so cool! So many beautiful murals throughout the property and in the rooms. There were so many details that made us feel so welcome and at home! Worth the stay!

Netherlands- Although morning/afternoon snacks were promissed, they were never there (could be because of the fact that we were the only guests for the first few nights) - The evening shift of the personnel could have been a bit more helpful
- Spacious and clean rooms equipped with useful&fun things like light bathrobes, popcorn machine etc - Common areas, lots of hangout and chilling spots, yoga/meditation area, painting area (incl available supplies) - Located on a quiet street but with quick and easy access to a bigger street (with restaurants, beaches, shops) - Overall cool vibe & free bikes

Location was perfect, all the staff went above and beyond to help. Being a solo traveller, I felt really safe and looked after. The pool is great, and there is all the entertainment that you need. The bed was so so comfortable, and everything was super clean. I was really sad to leave. I will definately be back again.

United StatesThere was nothing to dislike.
One of the nicest places I've ever stayed. Modern, concrete structure. Very comfortable bed. Quiet. Relaxing rooftop. Nice simple breakfast each morning. The entire place was kept extremely clean. Bikes, beach umbrellas, chairs, towels available for use. Pool table, ping pong, painting supplies. Short walk to the main stretch of Rinconada.

United KingdomPerfect place in our opinion.
We stayed at Casa Conicarit last year, we booked a week and ended up staying for three weeks. This year we flew to Cancun to discover the playa del carmen area, we didn’t like this area as it was full of all inclusive hotels and not many independent places to walk to. So, we booked a week at Casa Conicarit. We flew to Mexico City for 2 nights then on to Puerto Escondido. Once again, we ended staying here for 3 weeks. Located at the end of Rinconada strip. Walking distance to fabulous bars and restaurants, beaches where the sunsets amazing, we spent some time in zicotela at some fab yoga classes. Easy to get a taxi or jump in a collectivo. It’s room only, but they do provided breakfast, which always included orange juice, coffee, teas, toast etc. some mornings there were home baked cakes, ham and cheese sandwiches. There is everything you need here to self cater. There is a pool table, tv lounge, loads of different games to play. On the roof is a table tennis table, yoga mats, blocks, straps. They really have thought of everything here. The beds around the pool were comfortable. We work remotely and the staff would appear with refreshing cold drinks for us, the Wi-Fi wasn’t the best, but it worked for us inputting stuff. There is an Internet cafe round the corner with everything you need as a digital nomad. Generally, we managed to work ok at Casa Conicarit. Can’t fault this place, we were made to feel at home. Big hugs to all the wonderful staff there, Particulate Anji, who recognised us from last year. 🥰

CanadaIt is unfortunate that a neighbouring property had dogs that barked every time someone passed by and it was heard throughout the property.
The location was excellent. It is one block off the Main Street where there are plenty of stores and restaurants. There are also several beaches with in walking distance. The staff was excellent. The self serve, honour system stocked fridge was a nice bonus.

United KingdomIt was all great!
This is honestly my favourite place I have ever stayed. the photos don’t do it justice - it’s beautiful and peaceful, the pool area is so lovely to relax and swim in. The staff are so friendly and helpful, and there were such nice touches, like popcorn makers in the rooms. The kitchen is really nice and clean and the main fridges were well stocked with beers, water and soft drinks, which you pay for at the end (reasonably priced too). There was a different selection of breakfast foods and juices/coffee every morning, which was always nice. During our stay there was a movie night with a film played on a projector above the pool which was cool. it’s also in a great location, away from the business of central Puerto Escondido but a short walk from some excellent beaches and restaurants. overall, we were both so sad to leave Casa Conicarit and would definitely stay here again! Thank you for the best stay!

United StatesThe bathroom sink stuck out and impinged upon the toilet area. A wall mounted porcelain or cast iron enameled sink that was moved over a bit and rounded would solve this. The sink faucet was a hose bib ball valve with a 4" length of garden hose. I'd replace this with a faucet coming directly out of the wall. I'd like to have had a bureau to put clothes into. There were just chests that you could lock your gear into when you were gone. I'd like to have had a curtain over the main entrance door of the unit for some more privacy.
There was continental breakfast and it was good. If I wanted to cook I could do so. Access to bottled drinks and snacks if you wanted them. It was very quiet and there was an upstairs yoga deck and ping pong table as well as a massage studio area if you wanted to book this feature.

CanadaThe only thing that I was unhappy with was when a member of the staff woke us up by pounding on our door at 6 am afraid that we were going to skip out without paying. The staff had not made the connection that we had booked with booking.com for the first week booking.com under my name and the second week under my husbands. there never was an apology from them for feeling the need to address their concerns at a regular time.
Beautiful peaceful setting with a small but warm pool very tastefully decorated. The rooms are very tastefully decorated and they have free bikes and beach bags and a ping pong table upstairs. Loved most things about the place.

We loved our stay at casa conicarit. It is a beautifully created oasis with a pool in the middle. The rooms are spacious, the kitchen has everything you need and you can rent bikes and other things for the beach (though most of the things are a bit old). There is a nice little breakfast every day until noon.

United KingdomLoved this tranquil place, we booked for one week and ended up staying up for three weeks. Loved the quiet location at the end of the Rinconada strip. Playa Coral was five minute walk away, access was via a hotel costing 50 pesos for basic access. Loved watching the amazing sunsets here. Half hour walk to Zicotela beach and twenty minutes to Bacocho beach, the typical Robinson Crusoe beach! Special mention to the two girls working there, Arriana and Angelica, hard working lovely girls who looked after us so well bringing random juices to us in the afternoon. The room was big with plenty of storage space.
