This hotel has a fantastic location, just a short stroll from the beach and surrounded by nice restaurants. The inviting rooftop pool offered nice views, especially at sunset. The check-in process was smooth, and the staff were incredibly friendly,

Our room was a little crowded for this stay. I thought I requested a king bed but ended up getting two queens. Limited space for suitcases etc.Two straight back chairs were placed in the entry way by the door to enter the room , and were facing the door. You could not see into the area where the beds were, so basically you would be seeing only the back of the door. Not our favorite room there. Also there was no window looking out at the courtyard, only a small window behind the mimi refrigerator that looked onto a wall, I guess. I never looked out of it. We have stayed there other times and were very satisfied with our room, etc.

The rooms are small and dated. Our room had no view. The room, however, was clean and adequate for our needs.

Staff was great, location was in the midst of the romantic sector, access to the other Los Arcos hotel was a pleasant surprise.

Our room had a mildew type smell due to the humidity and no coffee service in the room but went to the rooftop bar and had coffee from there. Too many people “ save” loungers by the pool

Smaller boutique type hotel with a sister property available. Great location in the Zona Romantica. Close to many restaurants. Bartender Cirilo gave us excellent service at the roof top pool

We didn’t have water for a few hours when we first got there. There was never room at the pool all lounge chairs are taken by towels even if people aren’t using them .

I loved the location and the staff especially Angeles was very helpful and made our stay special.

standard room barely had a window (thin panel of frosted glass in the corner), and mine was right at the top of the stairs. heard everyone coming in and out of the hotel courtyard at night. not all these rooms are created equal.

this is sort of a split review. spent the first half of my stay in one room, moved to a much better one halfway through, and that one was great. seems like half the rooms have been updated, and the other half are waiting their turn and really need some love. the suite with balcony was great, spacious room, clean, newly reno'd. recommend picking this option if available. i'd give the suite a much better score alone.

Our room size was tiny, with the king bed barely fitting the space. The photos of the hotel for the king bed room looked much larger. Likewise, the bathroom was tiny. One had to squeeze by the toilet before the door could be closed. Also, the sink fixture did not fit the bowl: it was almost impossible to get my hands under the stream of water. All in all, the room did not represent good value for the price I paid. The room also did not have a window (that could be opened) to the outside.

The Susana has an excellent location, and we enjoyed the pool on the top deck. We also found the staff helpful and friendly. The elevator worked well, and our king bed was comfortable.

That we were not ADVISED at check in of CONSTRUCTION work being done daily and at EARLY HOURS of the morning. Multiple days of early morning construction - and music from work crew - made for 'grumpy' mornings. There was NO OFFER from the front desk of a FREE MEAL or FREE DRINK - as compensation for consistent constructrion noise. The ADDITION of a beverage/snack bar setup on the POOL area - that EXCLUDED residents from bring their own drinks to the pool area. This was not the case in past stays;, so with a jr. suite, fridge etc. we had plans to take our OWN beverages to the pool. Then - a sign to say no outside beverages permitted!! what? and most items not on the all inclusive, and no CERVASE (beer)? in the Pool area bar? PLEASE RECONSIDER this decision - as most time we want to go to the pool and BRING our own drinks.... and in the afternoon and evening. Good luck on a Bar that does not serve 'CERVASEA (beer)'??? on draft? We will come back, but hope to get ONE OF THE UPGRADED ROOMS - that we listened to being constructed for 6 days..... Put me on the list! for an upgrade ! J

OUR UPGRADED room was clean, functional and comfortABLE. and appreciated. The hotel was lovely, clean and staff was great. The USE of additional beachfront and pools at Los Arcos made it extremely good. Also, availability of all inclusive if desired. Loved the friendly and helpful staff and the Mexican feel of the hotel.

Room super small and uncomfortable. Had a min-fridge, but nothing to sit on but the bed. No microwave. Room 104. Was told the rooms on the inside corridor are standard rooms so pretty basic. Upgrade your room to one with a balcony- those rooms are bigger and not that much more expensive.Had a musty smell that just wouldn’t go away. No ice available

The shower frequently overflowed and with the summer heat that was less than optimal. This was a minor inconvenience though!
