We liked everything! If they would have their own beach club in front that could have made it even better but enough other seats and places to choose from in only 2 minute walk.

Casa Hridaya was exactly what we needed at the end of our 3 week holiday in Mexico, a peaceful place to relax! The location is on a quiet part of the island where you can see and hear the wildlife (birds). For us, it was close enough to the center which was a 30 minute walk along the beach. The hotel offers free yoga in the morning and they can organise a private massage for you. I did both and felt amazing afterwards. The beaches closest to the hotel have no seaweed and you have immediate access to the sea and walk on the sandbank to mosquito point. Beautiful! Breakfast in the morning was freshly prepared. Not many options but it was sufficient and delicious. The rooms had gorgeous decoration, good smelling soaps and a very large comfortable bed. All the staff was helpful and smiley as well!

Would’ve liked some fluffier pillows but that’s a minor complaint!

This is a well-run property. The hotel was charming, clean, comfortable (including the bed), and the staff were wonderful. Rooms were basic but cute. Stone’s throw from the beach and it wasn’t busy when we went, so finding a cabana on the beach was easy.

It was good for us, but its a 15-20 min walk from the village. The hotel doesn't have a private beach so if you want shade you have to pay.

We loved our stay there! Its a beautiful Place, great room, pool, and a roof top for yoga. Quite location, the beach in front of the hotel is better than the one in the village.

If you want to go to the centre, it is a 30min walk or you can rent bikes. The bikes are not cheap though, so take that cost in mind. There are great restaurants and beautiful sandbanks to walk next to the hotel though, so no need to always go to the centre.

Very clean hotel with amazing breakfast and staff, great swimming pool, and wonderful rooms. We ended up staying longer because we liked it so much.

A beautifully quiet and intimate hotel. The owner Gustavo was so accommodating and helpful. Julio and the staff made us feel so welcome. Our room was on the 2nd floor and spacious. It had a private staircase and balcony. Breakfast was served with coffee, fruits, yogurt, granola, toast and eggs. A hidden gem and you won't be disappointed!

Everything, the rooms were spacious and comfortable, the balconies were cosy, pool area was really clean and looked after, breakfast was really good especially the mexican scrambled eggs! Beach/sea view and being within walking distance the the actual beach also and only 15 minutes by foot to the town area.

Simple, small, isolated and perfect place to have perfect rest. Staff is nice, welcoming and very professional. The rooms are very comfortable housing furniture of high delicacy. We loved that place.

Sometimes during our stay we missed bar facilities. You also have to find sunbeds on your own, we chose Punta Caliza about 500 meters away. Here the sunbeds are for free if you buy for only 300 pesos per person. And the beds are really soft, all too soft for me, however that is a personal preference

Are you looking for tranquility, a friendly staff, delicious breakfast and only 100 meters to the Mexican Gulf - this is the spot. We enjoyed the small pool after a hot day on the beach, but mostly we appreciated the calm atmosphere at this little gem. Since Hridaya is a little away from the town you can take some fantastic morning walks at the sandbanks and see the sunrise almost on your own.

Everything. The owners have created a magical and relaxing place. Our room was big and comfortable. The staff were amazing. The breakfast was plentiful and healthy. Because it’s about a 15/20 walk from the centre it’s really quiet. We’ve been to Holbox before and this place was much better. There are plenty of places you can walk to and hire beach beds - we liked Nana’s - closer to the centre. And best place for shrimp tacos is Viva Zappata

The staff was incredible. Felt like family, only took better care of us. Julio and ladies and the owner were always anticipating our needs and wants. Great yoga deck, super clean pool. Lots of good coffee and breakfast every day. Handled taxis for us and had a massage up on the deck .Super access to the great east end retaurants beach and sand bar. Great value. You wont be disappointed!

Everything was good!

This is a BEAUTIFUL place to stay and we'd stay again in a heartbeat, we really didn't want to leave! We had a lovely room with balcony with hammock and chairs overlooking the beach. The beach is super close - one minute walk. The staff were super lovely and on hand to help with anything you need. Couldn't fault it! Thanks for a brilliant time!

The only think that could have been better was the bed - I rolled into the middle and it felt like a climb to get up and over in the mornings.

Bathroom smelled from time to time Very tiny mosquitoes on the island are a serious thing! Don’t forget to bring repellent!

It was perfect, amazing place and good location because it’s a bit further from the busy centre. The room was beautiful and very clean and the staff was very friendly. Very good breakfast and 1min walk from the beach!

Nothing the hotel can't help but the seaweed on the beach in this part of the island at times causes a not so pleasant smell. Luckily not all the time though. The breakfast is freshly prepared, but the same every day (fresh fruit, joghurt and eggs/toast).

Such a beautiful, small hotel. At the very (East) end of the town, in a quiet area. The staff is great, nice, small pool area and each room has a balcony/terrace. Free water and chocolate upon arrival. The hotel also has bikes for rent (which is a great way to get to other parts of the town).

Any food or snacks we left out had few tiny ants. With the heat, wish the cleaning folks didn't turn off the ac unit and opened the window. It was a hot room again to cool off...

Natalie & Julio made us feel so welcomed, the rooms and property were cleaned and maintained daily. This property was quiet and peaceful. Definitely recommend if you don’t want to stay downtown.
