The food is nice, but the portions are a bit small and the quality could be improved. There are too many roosters on the neighboring property and that can wake up guests before planned.

The hotel is really nice, clean and covers all the necessities for a weekend trip. It is really cozy without feeling small. The pool was amazing, really nice, not too warm not cold. The amenities are all there and the staff is really kind. There is an amazing doggy, Matias, that helps the staff to welcome visitors. He is so calm and peaceful, that makes him the best host.

The beds were extremely comfortable. We also really enjoyed that the place was small and it felt like it was all for ourselves. The staff was really friendly and they made us feel comfortable and at home.

One day I asked 3 questions about the temazcal: Was the temazcal functional? Was the source of heat electric or other? Could we use the temazcal at 8pm that night? The answers were yes, gas, and yes. We had a wonderful experience. Problem was we had no idea we would be charged the equivalent of $100 USD (2,100 pesos +/-). At 8pm we were surprised to be met by a lovely young lady who chanted and helped us have a special experience. Two staff assisted with the "event" during the hour and with drinks of tea thereafter. It was indeed a great experience. Only suggestion is: if hotel is going to provide an event or service, please inform guests in advance of details such as chanting lady, tea, etc, and charge of xyz pesos. [When I "reserved" the temazcal I had expected that staff world simply turn on and turn off the heat, give us instruction, and permit us a 30 minute experience alone. I would not have been surprised by a small charge when checking out.]

Beautiful little hotel with a very relaxed vibe. Clean comfortable rooms, a nice view of Tepozteco from the pool area and simple but very nice food. The staff are super friendly and (unlike a lot of hotels in Tepoztlan), it's a 10 minute walk from the centre of town, so once you've arrived you don't need a car to get around. We'll be back.

Really nice property with beautiful gardens and a great pool. It's only a short yet pleasant 12min walk from/to the centre. The breakfast was very good too (homemade traditional Mexican food). However, what we liked the most was the attention by the staff, they were very friendly, helpful and available at all times. I'd definitely come back again.

The staff doesn't seem specialized, rather a family playing hotel. For the included breakfast, we had tons of people running around but nobody really in charge. First night we had to shower with cold water, to be told later that we should call as the hot water disconnects. The garage is not very big, and upon leaving we had a car right behind us, and the hotel staff never thought of asking for the car keys and the family had gone sightseeing. Our stay was good, but for the price ,I was expecting a lot more

I think we were the only people there and the hospitality factor was just odd - there was one young man who didn’t really speak English who just handed us a single key when we got there, it just felt strange.

Pool area was beautiful. room was kind of sparsely decorated but bed was one of the best we had in 10 days. Breakfast was made to order and good.

Beautiful view. Small and well kept. Really good breakfast, which was included (not like other places that have “breakfast” and it’s only juice). Very accommodating. Even the dog was excellent!

The walk to town was somewhat long, but doable. The rooms are close to each other so you do hear things at times but is not too terrible.

Honestly David and the property manager made us feel special, they where very attentive and caring. As an LGBTQ couple it made us feel safe. David was very cordial and gave us some great tips for what to do in town. The view was amazing!! and it was quiet at night time compared to previous posadas I have stayed before. The property is located not far from downtown and the pyramid but it is a walk that tool us about 15-20 minutes, so be aware. Overall great experience, will definitely be back soon.
