Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesNothing. We will definitely stay there again.
We stayed here before in a junior suite. This time we ended up getting a deluxe suite, which just spoiled us. It was lovely. Large apartment style with separate living room. In room washer/dryer is very convenient. Drinking water provided. Nespresso machine in the room and another in the lobby with 24 hour access to coffee. Very clean. Shower pressure awesome. Breakfast is simple but similar to what we normally eat so it was perfect (bread, fruit, hard boiled eggs, cereal). Location is the best. Staff is wonderful - greeting us every time and they set up in room covid testing.

United StatesThe breakfast is pretty bad - we ended up using it for coffee/tea, but then getting food from the store to eat in our room, could easily be improved with a few simple additions. Housekeeping is also very basic and could be improved by a few easy things, like refilling the glass water bottles (which are a great idea BTW) for you, so you can come home to water in your room. Also, we booked our rooms 3 months out and asked that the rooms be on the same floor, which didn't happen, so just a bit of a hassle to have the kids on a separate floor. They said we could move to the same floor the following day, but would have been nice if they had organized when we checked in.
This hotel is all about the fabulous location - vibrant neighborhood with tons of great restaurants, park and easy to get around the city. A great place to be based and we used the beautiful roof deck a lot to unwind after a day in the city. The staff at this hotel is also super nice and arranged dinner reservations and COVID tests for us at the hotel, which was really convenient.

United StatesCoffee pods in room were not refilled without charge. They do have coffee available in the lobby but we wake early and prefer coffee in the room.
Apartment style room in a wonderful location. Hotel staff communicated well before our arrival and were very helpful setting up covid testing and transportation to/from airport.

United StatesWe booked a junior suite. We couldn't open our suitcases in our room. We had to 100% unpack and put the suitcases in a closet in order to move around the room. It was uncomfortably small. The rooftop hot tub spa was no longer in the hotel. It was in the description and photos when we booked it. There was a strong perfume / sanitizer odor in the hotel, which was hard for one of us sensitive to strong odors.
Amazing location. Pleasant and knowledgeable staff.

United StatesThe only negative we experienced was that the power was out the day we arrived. The staff was super nice, but it seemed like it was a planned outage, so notice would have been nice.
Great location. Very walkable and a lot of stuff around. Staff is great. The room was great too—spacious and clean.

DenmarkI had to interrupt the stay at the B&B after one night due to extremely bad beds, which resulted in back pains in the remaining days during my stay in Stockholm. Since the owner was not present there was no way to address the problem.

United StatesI knew from the previous reviews that not all rooms faced the park or even the exterior of the building. After booking our Junior Suite, I messaged the hotel asking if we could be assigned an exterior-facing room. The response was no, and that we would be assigned a room once we arrived. On arrival, I asked again if we could be assigned a room facing the park, but the front desk agent agent just tried to divert our attention by saying how amazing our room was and that we had a "private terrace". By then, I already knew we had an interior room. Our room (103) was on the same floor as check-in (red flag #1) and upon entering, we noticed how dark it was (red flag #2). I did notice that we had been upgraded from a Junior Suite to a Deluxe Suite, which was nice in theory. However, I honestly would have swapped our suite for the smallest room if it meant having a higher floor and a view of the park. Instead, our suite was like living in a cave given how dark it was. All the lights needed to be turned on even during the day. The window in the living room looked out to the common area (interior) where breakfast was served. Luckily, there was at least a partial divider so other guests couldn't simply look into our room while they ate. Another window in the kitchen looked into essentially an air shaft, and a third window/door in the bedroom did open up to the outside, however, it was facing the wall of another tall building, which was covered in fake greenery to make it less terrible. The "amazing" terrace was a tiny, shadowed space with 2 chairs. We didn't use it at all because if you sat there, you'd be staring at a wall of fake greenery. On Friday evening, a club or restaurant played loud music that we could hear from our room until about 1 am, and then the next morning, we were woken up at 8 am by screaming children in the room next door who were outside in their terrace.
The actual suite was very large and quite nice. The bed was very comfortable. Very convenient to have a washer and dryer in the unit. Can't beat the location - just across from Parque Mexico and Condesa and surrounded by tons of restaurants and cafes. Lovely staff overall and very nice doorman.

United StatesThe shower was really unpleasant. There was tons of mold on the shower curtain and on top of that, my shower did not get hot and had very low water pressure. The facilities were also poor. The empty, dirty tub on the roof is not really a usable jacuzzi and the “fitness center” is tiny and just two cardio machines. These facilities were not as described.
Breakfast was great. Room was very nice for the most part. Friendly staff.

PeruWe stayed 2 times and the 1st time we got a room that was really small and this was basically because the room had a kitchen, refrigerator and washing + drying machine. It seemed forced into the room, I would have preferred it didn’t have those and had more space (this was on the 2nd floor). Breakfast is really really basic and when the hotel is full, there aren’t enough tables for all the guests, you have to take your food to your room or the rooftop, which can be a hassle. Also, they hadn’t refilled the food until we asked them to.
The location is really nice. The rooms are super clean and comfortable in most cases. The people who work there are really nice and helpful.

GermanyI had an apartment on the ground floor. I was supposedly upgraded and had "one of their best rooms". It was extremely noisy, you could hear guests coming in the front door at 1am, 2am, 3am... Also the room layout made an overall decent sized room feel crammed.
Great location, nice interior
