Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesMaybe the cleaning staff, they just seem out of place, they were not rude, just didn't talk to you as friendly as the front desk staff...but I kinda understand, they were the only clothed people in the hotel.
This is probably the best Hotel I ever stayed in. The staff was AMAZING, the pool was great, the other people staying in the hotel were very friendly. Saturday is the best day to stay here, very good vibe. Loved this place !

United StatesShared rooms have three-level beds. The bed in the middle has very limited head room -- choose the lower bed, or the top level, if you have a choice.
What an amazing place! This was my third stay at Casa Nudista, and I will be returning as often as possible. The staff is super friendly and helpful, everything is immaculately clean, and the pool, where conversations happen and friendships are made, is accessible 24 hours. The entire place is beautifully designed and landscaped. Unlimited delicious coffee in the morning was HUGE for me, and the free breakfast croissant with freshly cut fruits is just the right meal to start the day. The best part, however, is the clientele -- an incredible diversity of travelers from all over the world, of all ages, each with their interesting story to tell. While the majority of guests were men, there was enough of a sprinkle of women guests, too, which added to the feeling of this place being welcoming to everyone. Eye-candy bartenders serve up in the nude excellent and reasonably priced cocktails and beer, and they also have a menu of delicious food (prepared in a nearby restaurant). Compulsory nudity is quite liberating -- this place is NOT a beauty pageant! It is heartening to see people of all shapes, sizes, and ages embracing and freely sharing their own unclad, natural beauty. Shared rooms provide an incredible value -- you pay a hostel price for your bed, but get to enjoy all the amenities and services of an upscale hotel. The chill music in shared areas is great and not at all intrusive. Nights are quiet -- there are no disruptions to a good night's sleep. Wi-fi is fast enough (I clocked it around 60 mbps) -- it was fun to see digital nomads working remotely, sometimes on Zoom calls with a nice shirt but nothing below...

NetherlandsThe music was repetetive and abrasive, as house music is played mostly. If you are not keen on the mainstream gay scene, house music, flirting, pool parties and riot queens, you may have to book another hotel.
We had the king suite. We liked almost everything. The staff was amazing and kind, they helped immediately with questions. We had our own frigde and cooking place outside to make our own food. The location is great. 1 minute away from Avenida Roca Blanca and 3 minutes away from the beach, and both are on walking distance.

MexicoI chose to stay here my last night in town, as I found the concept of obligatory nudity in highly social context very intriguing. When I stayed here hostel population was entirely gay men, which was great for all of them, but as a straight man I didn't really find it as interesting as I'd expected it might be. Was still a great place to make friends though! The breakfast portions were quite small No kitchen for dorm room guests
Everyone there was super friendly and accepting, staff were helpful and, if it wasn't quite what I had pictured, it was still a really good experience overall! It's an extremely social hostel and very easy to make friends there! The breakfast tasted great Very nice property

IrelandFor the price is surprisong there is no tv nor hot water in the room. Beds not as comfy as you would expect for the price. A big point is that despite naturism is mandatory in common areas, there are cctv cameras in all common areas, therefore no privacy.

United StatesI stayed in the room near the pool, and would probably choose a different location for more sunlight next time. The shower water was warm, not hot, though I assume that’s true of most of the town.
Casa Nudista is a fantastic option in Zipolite. It’s situated in the middle of everything and a short walk to the beach. The all nude property is very private, with a small dipping pool surrounded situated in a lush deck. There are some beds for lounging, chairs, and a table if you want to sit up. The design of the property is thoughtful and modern. Everyone on staff is friendly and helpful. They provide a jug of water for every room and leave sunblock in the common area to protect from the intense zipolite sun. Breakfast was coffee, hot chocolate croissants, and fresh fruit. The guests are predominantly gay, but straight friendly. The chill music sets the right vibe during the day. Wi-Fi is fast and reliable. I’d definitely stay again.

United StatesThe wifi was abysmally slow. Apparently that's the case in all of Zipolite though, so I really can't fault the hotel.
The owner and staff were very friendly. The setup of the hotel was excellent for meeting and getting to know other guests. The pool was the perfect place to cool off in the heat of the day. The AC in my room was excellent. I also really liked the house rules especially the no noise after 10 PM rule. It assured I got a good sleep. Everything good in Zipolite was an easy walk away from this hotel. I couldn't have been more pleased.

MexicoI know it might be a regulation around all hotels and Zipolitle not to have hot water but would be have at least a electric shower heater. Also music choice could be a bit wider other than Chill EDM.
Every single thing of Casa Nudista was amazing, the staff, the host, the owner. The ambiance feels very comfortable, like a community or a family. I applaud all the hard work that the owner has done to accomplish that. Definitely coming back

United StatesI unknowingly booked the biggest room, it had three beds and was two levels. Ordinarily this would be great but the AC never really made it to the the top of the bungalow. This was not a problem at all! If I needed to cool off I would simply take a quick shower or jump into the pool. Second night I stayed in the bottom half of the bungalow and it was great!
This place is absolute heaven! The staff and owner were all very nice and attentive. It is NOT clothing optional. It is obligatory to be nude. I had no problem with this... I'm not a nudist but maybe I'll become one. It was an entirely liberating experience. The pool and grounds were immaculate and there was always someone available to take care of anything you might need. There was a mix of genders and orientations and never felt at all uncomfortable. Quite the opposite in fact. The bartender/receptionist was very attentive and would deliver your drinks to you (in the buff) to your spot in the pool. I originally booked for one night but after having such a great time I booked and extra night. I was there for two nights total and didn't want to leave. I will be back for sure. Both nights I stayed here I made friends. First set of friends, we all just chatted in the pool. There were quite a few of us. Second night, there were less of us and we all became fast friends. We all ended up going out to a few bars after and for some late night food. This place just has that in the air I guess. Absolutely great place. Also, discretion is important. You have to ring a doorbell to be let in when you first checkin. Once you get your key, you are free to come and go as you chose. My review says that I was there for one night but I was there for two total. I booked my second night directly with the hotel.
