Limited place to place bags off floor and no dresser to put clothes in. No desk in room.

Central location, close to many good restaurants and site seeing locales. We were treated to a wonderful breakfast each morning. The fruit was exceptional. They also served some really tasty cookies too (which you can order more to take home with you). The staff were always very friendly and accommodating. Room was comfortable and bathroom was nicely appointed. Pool area was very private and quiet.

The rooms are small and it's hit and miss if you have a hot shower. The bed was a bit too firm for my liking.

The hotel is stunning and very close to restaurants and the center. Not noisy at all and the staff will go above and beyond to help you

We liked everything about the hotel and the service. The only tricky thing is to find a good parking spot around the area.

The service overall and the manager - Veronica - was fantastic. The location is top; it is quiet but you can be in the busy areas with plenty of dining options around. The atmosphere is also very nice. It is a great place to relax and discover the city. A bonus point was the store of the hotel with great items.

A beautiful little oasis in the middle of mad Mérida. Very close walking distance to all the sights, very helpful staff. Beautifully maintained property.

- room could be more decorated to make it more cozy - walls are thin - pool area is very simple - small breakfast selection (fine for us though), coffee could be better

- Nice location - great look & feel - Nice and simple breakfast. You have to let them know the day before, what and at what time you want to eat breakfast. You can choose between a western or local style. - friendly staff - pool area is fine, nothing fancy Our room was big and comfortable, yet, there could be more decor on the wall to give it more coziness. The walls are thin and if you are a light sleeper, you here if somebody is talking outside. But they have complementary ear plugs in the room ;)

Staff should be a bit better trained for hospitality, i didn’t always feel welcome. Cleaning should be better, i booked the presidential suite but the jakuzi was not cleaned properly, there were stains and also a small water lake at the bottom when we arrived i wiped it myself to use it

Was hard to get a nicz temperature of water to shower ( either too hot or cold) The TV is an old style no netflix or any platform working Just 2 options for breakfast (poor one)

The construction next door could not be helped but the staff handled perfectly, rest assured everything else made up for the slight annoyance.

Amazing location! And quiet even though it’s right in the middle of everything. Always clean and efficient. Veronica is amazing, just follow all her excellent and caring recommendations —- you’re in good hands to have a great trip! We loved having breakfast on the upper terrace every morning, especially loved the amazing cookies that are specially made for the hotel! The beds are super comfy and even the pillows and sheets are perfect. For us this was the perfect elegant but unpretentious, comfortable, welcoming hotel. If I sound like a bot or an ad service raving about this, it’s just because we have too many good things to say about it 😁

Room was advertised as suite with a king sized bed, a sitting area and a view of the pool area. It had a double bed, no sitting area and opened into a hallway. Not what I believe is a suite.

Casa Tavera is amazing! The rooms are in an old villa and simply look great! It has everything you need and it's in the perfect location to walk around Merida. It can get a bit noisy at night because of the music nearby, but it didn't affect our stay or sleep. They also provide you with ear plugs just in case :)

We liked everything about our stay. Merida is a great and beautiful city to visit and Casa Tavera is perfectly located. It is a beautiful hotel with all the intimacy and tranquility we wanted. We received an upgrade to the most beautiful room (Kinich), it was magnificent. We enjoyed their delicious breakfast on the balcony in front of our room. The pool is beautiful, all the facilities we needed we're there and if we had a question the staff was more than happy to help. They gave us tips even without asking such as the tip (and glasses) to go enjoy the eclipse. All in all we are over the moon about this trip and this hotel!
