The furnishings are a bit worn down and the complimentary shampoos/soaps aren't that great. It would have also been nice if information about local attractions and restaurants were provided. We've stayed at this inn when it was under different ownership, and those owners were always present and made a point to connect with guests. The new owners were not present, and the staff, while friendly didn't go out of their way to connect with guests, so the experience felt less special.

You can't beat the location. It's right on the beach but private and inexpensive, which makes it a rare find. It also caters to a mix of locals (utilizing a day pass for the pool) and visitors, which makes it feel less touristy. We especially enjoyed the breakfasts - a mix of American and Mexican options.

A few things. I was there for 5 nights and there was no cleaning/maid service the whole time! There were no hooks on the door or walls to hang towels, one of the towel racks was loose and kept coming apart. There was only one light switch for the toilet and the rest of the sink/shower area. No shower curtain meant little or no privacy when showering. Screens on both sides of the sliding patio door to the room would have been appreciated. The hot tub jacuzzi was out of order. While none of these was a deal breaker, it would make me think twice about staying there again.

I was fortunate to get a room overlooking the beach so that made the stay much nicer. Breakfast was very good.

You need drive a half mile off the hwy on rough dirt road to reach the property. Property is a bit isolated - which is good if you are looking for seclusion.

Right on the beach- room had large balcony overlooking the sea. Owner was very friendly and informative.

Need to fix screens on patio doors Price should probably include breakfast as a bit overpriced for a small hotel needing some minor updates with new chase loungers, screen repairs & sliding doors are a bit hard to open, but all in all it was quiet, secluded & a quaint new place to stay. I would stay here again, as the view was awesome!

the place needs a little TLC, some paint here and there. Doors have loose hardware. I paid the highest rate, double what others were paying,but that was due to my late booking.

We paid every day cash for our one or two meals and then checking out staff said we missed two meals. so they need to come up with a better system for cash like other properties on signing off on paid bills or provide a receipt. The manager believed us but it was a bit annoying. There were no TV’s but I didn’t mind as the views were spectacular and they had an amazing library!

The location on the Pacific was incredible. It was well designed and has a good cook.

Having non hotel guests using the pool made a small pool area crowded. Construction of condos right next door was at times annoying both for noise and privacy. The balcony didn't feel private with workers watching us.

Our room was large and had a comfortable bed. Great view from the balcony. Air conditioning and wifi were adaquate. The on site restaurant had a varied menu and we enjoyed both dinner and breakfast. Pool was charming and the slide was great fun.

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like. If anything the kitchen closes a bit early, the food was good pretty good. The pool was really cold so we didn’t use it as much as we hoped.

The location is amazing, very quiet and private part of the beach but really easy to access where the surf and action is happening at the main part of the beach and a short drive to Todos. The bed was so comfy, we had the most amazing sleeps hearing the waves crashing in. Everything was really clean. Staff were all so nice. We would definitely come back again. We loved the little courtyard as you come in, really peaceful spot to hang out if you’re feeling a bit chilly.
