The continental breakfast could have included a bit more basics such as tea/coffee, orange juice, a pastry, perhaps cheese for the bread etc. The mattress in room 6 is very firm.

Pool had no shower by it so was not kept as clean as it could have been. Have to ring the doorbell to get a staff member to let you into the property - this wasn’t working one evening leading to us being locked out for 20 minutes.

Beautiful design throughout and great location - they’ve made great effort to preserve original architecture throughout.

Lovely stay in Merida! Beautiful, secluded & quiet property in the heart of Centro. Easily walkable to any/everywhere we wanted to go. Very well maintained & cared for. The property is spotless & shined to perfection. The staff is kind, available & attentive. We'll definitely be back! Only catch is that we would advise skipping the massage...the property was great in their handling but the therapist was woefully untrained (& there are so many truly amazing therapists in Merida).

I wouldn't stay here with small kids because the staircases do not have banisters or protection.

This place is a literal magical oasis. Don't skip on a mezcalrita by the pool. Just wow.

For European travellers Mérida streets may not look so clean around the property but it is only a factual statement not a negative comment on the property which is a hidden gen after a long day or a relaxing retreat for hiding away of city buzz for the day.

I arranged a taxi to collect me from the airport as I was arriving at night time – I arrived quite late and the staff at the hotel were very helpful. The room and bathroom were lovely, large and clean and with a good shower, comfortable bed and lovely old tiled floor. Breakfast was very fresh and with very friendly staff serving it. The hotel's dining area overlooking the pool and garden was very pleasant.

Nothing really, other than it doesn’t offer its own parking. That situation was quickly overcome, by using the next door hotel’s parking space.

This hotel is a hidden gem in the downtown of Merida. Besides the beautiful architecture, detailed interior design, spacious and comfortable rooms, wonderful mattresses and quietness, the service is one of the kindest and attentive we’ve encountered. Everyone was amazingly available, since our late arrival at 1 am, fulfilling all our requests and preparing our meals at the previously agreed time (punctually to the very minute). We’re great fans of small boutique hotels and this one has definitely won our hearts. Highly recommended ❤️

For some reason, I thought there was a parking lot so we parked next-door, it was a little sketchy, and our car got bird droppings all over it. Not a big deal.

The staff should not use the "boardroom" next to the restaurant as a work space - takes away from the usage of it by guests if they wish to work in a comfortable air-conditioned space.

Old colonial building on the outside, understated modern elegance on the inside in the heart of downtown. Lovely pool, charming public spaces, good service and good food. Simply a great place to stay.

Loves this property! The location is unbeatable, just a few short blocks from the main center, and main avenue Paseo Montejo. The hotel itself is beautiful, only a handful or rooms so it is always peaceful. There are so many areas around the hotel to just sit, unwind and relax, we felt truly at home.
