The bunk beds were connected, so if one person rolled over, the other 3 could feel it. But overall, it was a great hostel.

The staff was wonderful. The bar had great drinks and great drinks specials. The breakfast was delicious!!!! The tip-based walking tours were top notch. Highly recommend.

The location is very close to the main square and church, the arena where we saw Lucha Libre and to Mayo 5, the main pedestrian walkway. The room was large with good air conditioning, and the shower had good water pressure. The staff was exceptional-helpful, very nice and English speaking. We appreciated the daily breakfast (which was included in the rental price)-coffee, juice, fruit and a choice of enchiladas, eggs, chilaquiles and other options. I would stay here again for sure.

-I was in the 6 mixed dorm and the wifi doesn't reach -Our bathroom had this typical sewer smell coming up but there's not much they can do about it realistically

-Loved all the staff, so friendly and always in a good mood and ready to help. They were flexible when i asked to extend my stay and did not make it complicated -Loved the delicious breakfast, i never had so many options for an included breakfast, it allowed me to taste a lot of typical food i wanted to try! -The location is really nice: close to the bus stop and city center -Every facilities was always clean!

The bathroom set-up is weird: toilet and shower are separate but the sink is in the shower room so if someone is showering, you can't wash your hands. It also really makes you notice how many people don't wash their hands after using the bathroom :/

One of the most comfortable hostels ever! First of all, the bed is incredible: perfect privacy curtain and sturdy pod-style beds that guarantee perfect darkness while sleeping. The free breakfast is an a la carte style meal that includes a juice and fruit. The location is very good right on the edge of the old town. They also organise a bunch of events every day so meeting people should be easy, and the staff is super nice and helpful.

Warning: The staff is obliged to charge you for any damage created, por example stained towels. Before we came the first time (this was already the third stay) I received a mail that I had to recognize the rules of the hotel, including the upload of a copy of both passports and signature by fingerprint. If your smartphone does not support fingerprints, you have no chance to finish the process. This has cost me half an hour of work and the good karma of a whole evening, I didn't find this funny. The good news is that you also can ignore this message and sign the rules of the hotel upon arrival.

Hotel rooms and bathroom very spacious, large and comfortable beds with reading lights. Nearly no daylight, which is due to the tradicional way of construction of the building. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very nice location in a relatively quiet street. Very good Mexican or internacional style breakfast. Big offer of activities for every day of the week.

The hostel was struggling with some of the evening activities. I am not one to really participate in evening hostel activities so I it was not a negative issue for me. Overall it was a great stay.

This hostel is well run. The six bed dorm was very comfortable. It had AC, light, electrical outlet and curtains. It made for a very comfortable sleep. The staff were very helpful and remembered my name for the whole stay(nice touch). I enjoyed a couple of the tours through the hostel. The location is also very good.

The bag storage area could be more secured. Otherwise nothing else - we really enjoyed our stay! Our only other wish is that we stayed longer!

Fantastic spot in a great location! We loved the atmosphere at the hostel, and the facility was superb! Walking around town was great too - very close to all the great things in Puebla! There were ample tours and activities available, and the common areas were super comfortable and inviting. The hostel bar/restaurant was also great! Really loved our stay here and would absolutely come back again!

10/10 would HIGHLY recommend!! The breakfast was amazing and was included with my purchase. It's literally served at the restaurant on site, table service, with traditional Mexican dishes. How did I get so lucky?? I extended my stay twice and I still want to go back!! The 6 person dorm is spacious, spotless, and has a huge shower with hot water and a separate bathroom with a toilet. The dim lighting creates a cozy ambience that made me feel like I was staying in a 5 star hotel rather than a hostel. The kitchen is large, the bar is plentiful even though I don't drink, and overall this stay exceeded my expectations. The staff here go above and beyond to ensure that you are happy, but that's a common theme around Mexico in general. As a solo female traveler I recommend Casa Pepe if you value cleanliness, coziness, friendliness, and spaciousness. The unlitimate dream for a girly with high standards! It was tricky to turn on AC, you have to be right in front of it. Then AC turned off in middle of night. Apparently it has a timer or something like that.
