Absolutely stunning finishes on public areas. The room was very small but comfortable, with a lovely view from the little balcony!

The hotel had its own US dollar to peso exchange rate so the hotel charged us more in pesos than our Booking price in US dollars (which was supposed to include taxes and fees). I showed them the conversion rate at check in but the woman said that the hotel had a different exchange rate than the official rate.

wonderful pool area and courtyard. Room was quiet, comfortable and air conditioner worked well. Good view of the town. great location near the main plaza. I would stay there again.

We thought breakfast was included in the price. The cost was very expensive for the area.

Cozy small room but with balcony and cleaned almost every day. Location was fine very close to centre and staff very helpful. Parking space was definitely a plus

Pool was a bit dirty all the time, gym didnt have dumbells.

Great location, rooms with balcony are amazing, centric location walking distance to all touristic locations in the downtown, and easy to transit to any other newer attractions, and good gym.

Being provided a mini fridge as a standard would be handy and make this place the complete package. Too close to the”Mayan Market” 🙃

Good area, access to a pool and gym was nice. Staff are suburb, very helpful. Happy to store our luggage after checkout and arranged a taxi to the airport when we returned. Definitely a nice place to stay

The pool wasn't open when we visited. The room did not have a refrigerator, and they charged for in-room coffee. Sidewalks in the historic city center are very narrow. Might consider staying along wider Paseo de Montejo as an alternative in the future.

Great location for walking to main plaza (Centro historico). Longer, but doable walk to the ADO bus terminal and La Plancha park. The room and lobby were comfortable and had good wifi.

The room was very small (we knew that already). But because we were out all day it didn’t feel too uncomfortable. The room was also a bit dark and traffic noise from the road also apparent.

The location is great, very central. Very decent facilities. The room was clean when we arrived and was getting cleaned up and tidied every single day which we loved. People in the reception are very polite and eager to help. Recommended but maybe do choose a bigger room.

The room photos on Booking.com ONLY show the bed so it was difficult to see if the room would suit my need to have a table/desk. The A/C (and it was hot in Merida at that time) was controlled by a funky panel on the wall which was dim and hard to read and which apparently couldn't be configured with a set point so it was either on or off even by the maintenance staff. I was on a "work-cation" and had to keep getting up - probably a good thing :--) - to either turn it on or off when the room got too hot or cold which was inconvenient in the middle of a meeting. The elevators operated only on one's keycard and only to the floor that keycard room was on. It was confusing at first and a sure sign of a new guest. Also the late arrival process was not good - locked door could be opened with guest keycard but no entry bell or anything to get in if not yet checked in. A fellow traveler used his phone to call. The autamated check-in system was also difficult enough that the young fellow traveler and I both needed the clerk's assistance. The desk staff didn't always give correct information. I asked where the bus went that stopped just a bit down the street from the hotel. They said it didn't go to the Museo Mundo and yet there was the bus stop right outside when I arrived there by taxi and there was the bus! Perhaps a miscommunication but their English was pretty good.

Location was excellent, close enough to zocalo and close to many good restaurants and other squares, some of which had live music/dancing 1 night a week. I also appreciated that many of the other guests were Mexican tourists. The rooms don't come with small refrigerators but there are apparently a few available on request and it was great to have a cold drink after being out in the heat.

The room included a coffee pot, but after the first day you are required to purchase any additional coffee from the front desk. Not a big issue, but free coffee would be nice. Also, the room did not include a refrigerator which would be nice. We did not have breakfast at the hotel because it seemed pricey; however, it was easy to find many affordable breakfast spots near the hotel.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The hotel is clean and updated and offers a large outdoor pool that gets morning sunshine and has lots of pool furniture, and a large work-out room (gym) that has a nice variety of treadmills, ellipticals, and weights to use. Our room was clean and spacious, the linens and towels were clean and fresh, the bed was comfortable. The bathroom offered plenty of counter-space. The shower was hot and had good pressure. During the day, we appreciated our outdoor balcony and the natural light shining into the room. At night, we loved that our room was dark and quiet (the fan helped drown-out any exterior noise). I'm a light sleeper, and I slept great. The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel location is easy walking distance to shops, restaurants, and the town center. We would definitely stay here again.

Pool is in the shade in the afternoon of the high building. Breakfast good but not nice space, not cosy, too massive. Ready for renovation.

Modern hotel, very spacious family room, top location nearby good restaurants. Good beds, arrival very good service, fast internet.

The ladies in the front desk could benefit some customer service communication skills or anything in that direction. As for the males who were most of the time the valet parkers, knew how to give good customer experience! Weird as they work in the same hotel, but the woman have an arrogant attitude around them.

The doorman and valet parking were very kind. They clean very well and we had a King size bed, what was very comfortabele. Good mattress! It's an old hotel, so the furniture is old fashioned, but it works so it's fine. The bathroom is small, but also it works.

The A/C controls were older and didn't seem to have an option of setting a goal temperature and then going on or off with that temperature setting, even with the help of the maintenance guy. I had to keep turning it on and off when it got too warm or too cold. Also the late night arrival check-in process was not smooth. I arrived at midnight, as I'd informed them to find the door locked unless one already had a key and no bell to alert anyone inside and no one in sight. Fortunately a registered guest arrived and let me in. Check in instructions were confusing and finally an employee assisted me.

Everything was good. I liked that most of the other guests appeared to be Mexican nationals. The elevator was curious for a city with a very low crime rate - makes me wonder about past incidences - as one must tap the room key card on a reader before pushing the button or the elevator won't go. And it will only stop on the floor selected. And down only to lobby.
